Bistro Franc – Liverpool City Centrefabulous food, the crab roti and the butter chicken main are out of this world, fabulous staff who catered to my every need. Thanks karma for making my Friday night
Karma – West KirbyStunning interior design and staff pleasant and welcoming. Food was top drawer could'nt fault the pumpkin soup and the steak melted in the mouth visiting again in 2 weeks
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreHad few meals here. excellent. one of the best Indians in Merseyside.
The Spice Inn – PrescotWhen living in Liverpool in 1993 I visited the Lobster Pot frequently and I'm glad they are still going because I plan on visiting them when back in the UK (from Australia) in a couple of years. Best chips I've ever had!!
Lobster Pot – Liverpool City CentreAlways going to for an amazing meal at the bakers dozen its just as great if your only going for a drink! Friendly and very helpful staff, amazing food and great prices! Definitely recomend!!
Bakers Dozen – BootleAsked 2 change a main meal on the set meal, they said they can't,sorry but in my book that's pathetic, won't be going back. Fuck u. Risa
Risa Spice – BirkenheadWe had our engagement party at harbour bar, and it was an absolute letdown. The staff were really helpful and polite initially, but our party was ruined when after ten o'clock the bar started letting in the general public to what we thought was a private party. We had random people coming in and eating our food, trying to steal our balloons and decorations and requesting music from the DJ that we had paid for. I had a word with the bar man about it and his attitude was really unacceptable, he pretty much said the room rental was free, what do you expect? I was really shocked that they would do this after taking a booking from us for a private party. Nobody mentioned this when we booked and left a deposit, if they had we would have gone somewhere else. The reason we booked harbour bar is because its a lovely space and was close to the train station, we would probably have paid for room rental of this had been brought up before the party at some point. This was our engagement party and it was such a disappointment after all of our family came feom all over the country to see us, something that both the bouncer and bar man didn't seem to understand. They were condescending to be honest. We were both really upset by this and wont be looking back at our engagement party with the right kind of memories. Needless to say we wont be having another party here, really could not recommend.
The Harbour Bar – WaterlooFirst visit here as we were in Liverpool for an event at the Metropolitan Cathedral. Absolutely superb 3 course lunch with lots of choice - real value for money and impeccable service. the decor is quirky and creates a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreLike Kamran Khan, last night was our first and last visit. We had to wait an eternity for our drinks to arrive, buffet non-descript, we had to queue up and wait for more food to be brought from the kitchens, only one vegetarian choice on offer, waited twenty minutes for our bill which was £47.00 odd (for two people) - which consisted of starters, main course, an orange juice and a glass of red wine. In my opinion the buffett was worth about £6.00. Would not recommend it.
East z East – Liverpool City CentreWe booked a table at this restaurant for myself, my husband and another couple. Our waiter was pleasant but informed us that they had no more bottles of Pinot Grigio. We then asked if he could sell us the Chablis (£5 more expensive than the Pinot) for a cheaper price as that was my other favourite as well as the Pinot they had ran out if. He asked the miserable faced manager. and his answer was no. We thought he could have been a little more apologetic or at least offer an alternative. When the food arrived, it was generally very nice except for one of the side dishes of Bombay potatoes which was served to the table, stone cold. The dish was hot, but the potatoes were not. The general lack of friendliness and customer service has tainted the night for me and I wouldn't rush back there. Such simple things, what a shame.
Zyka – Formbywent here on a saturday day night expecting turkish food eg simple turkish chill sauce and there was none insight was told by the waiter people in liverpool don't like it , i feel so sorry for people in liverpool because i feel there getting a raw deal when it comes to eating out , this place is more like a kebab shop , if you really want to get something close to the real thing try a place i found in widnes called efe's and not this rip off place elif as you can see the names nearly the same as the REAL ONE IN LIVERPOOL EFE'S
Elif – ChildwallI truly enjoyed my evening at the Italian club fish. It was comfortable , relaxing with great service and the food was superb! Looking forward to my next visit where I will be bringing more family & friends .
The Italian Club Fish – Liverpool City CentreFood was lovely but customer service was very poor. Our order was incomplete one meal however we had the rice from that meal. They agreed to rush it out to us. Then shortly after we were rung back demanding us to pay for the meal. In the end we refused as one of our party had no food and I don't see why we should pay for there mistake. Very disappointed we've used them frequently but won't again after their attitude. Greatly inconvenienced.
Edwards – WaterlooI visited this new restaurant last week and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The interior is bright and very attractive. The food we ordered arrived promptly. The poppadums were crisp and fresh and the dips were delicious. My curry looked and tasted wonderful and it was piping hot. I really enjoyed my first visit to Holdi restaurant and I look forward to going back soon.
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonHad the best evening birthday ever, Hidden gem. Stu.
The Grill Room – West DerbyThis is a great eating place. Easy parking at the back, excellent staff and a good menu, which covers most people. Reasonably priced for what offered. Now been twice since it opened and would give it 5. Indeed, the family is now booked in for New Year.
Elif – ChildwallVisited this restaurant 9.11.12 with my husband and daughter. The food was so fresh, well cooked and well presented. The flavours were beautiful. The staff were lovely and friendly. It's a long time since I had such a good meal in a restaurant, We all had something different and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and the ambience of the place. This is much superior to the previous restaurant of Kinsellas and I know how popular it used to be. My suggestion is to give this a try, you will not be disappointed. Never been to Turkey, but now hope to visit. If the food in Rose Lane Antalya is anything to go by, I'll be on the next plane. Will definitely be going to this restaurant again, probably next week....we're hooked!
