The Grill Room – West DerbyThis is a great eating place. Easy parking at the back, excellent staff and a good menu, which covers most people. Reasonably priced for what offered. Now been twice since it opened and would give it 5. Indeed, the family is now booked in for New Year.
Elif – ChildwallVisited this restaurant 9.11.12 with my husband and daughter. The food was so fresh, well cooked and well presented. The flavours were beautiful. The staff were lovely and friendly. It's a long time since I had such a good meal in a restaurant, We all had something different and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and the ambience of the place. This is much superior to the previous restaurant of Kinsellas and I know how popular it used to be. My suggestion is to give this a try, you will not be disappointed. Never been to Turkey, but now hope to visit. If the food in Rose Lane Antalya is anything to go by, I'll be on the next plane. Will definitely be going to this restaurant again, probably next week....we're hooked!
Antalya – Mossley HillWe visited Christakis,Smithdown Rd to celebrate my birthday at the beginning of October! there was 12 of us and we truly enjoyed ourselves lovely restaurant, beautiful food, and the service was exeptional and very friendly, we had young children with us who were also catered , i would highly recommend this resaurant, and will be booking again this Sunday for 13 of us ;-)
All our family use to come here with our mother for many years, sadly in 1994 our mother pasted away, I moved to another country, & in 2007 I returned to England , we now live in Liverpool we where going out for something to eat so we decided to call at the Charcoal , even though it was very sad for me, with my mother being with us ordering her APPLE PIE & CUSTARD it brought a lot of lovely memories back to me , remembering the good times we had & how very special just going for a meal with someone you love is. The meal was EXCELLENT & of course I had apple pie & custard. Now as we are back living in the North West I certainly will bring my children & grandchildren & carry on the great memories, thank you so much for making my night a night I will never forget. The staff are very helpful it is a great place to have a great meal & very good value for money.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensFour of us went for the first time last saturday - but it wont be the last time we go there! We had a wonderful meal sitting a booth upstairs. The service was impeccable and the food superb. Highly recommended
Kozi – PrescotAfter seeing the most recent review of Sheldrakes we were a little apprehensive about dining here. However, after spending a lovely afternoon I can honestly say that I've never had a meal so good! Sorry but I really don't agree with the comments from the last reveiwer. The food was fantastic, the staff were extremely professional and attentive and the whole experience was fantastic! A birthday treat that certainly delivered! I had the smoked salmon and lobster cake starter while my husband had the bass with rhubarb. For main course we had the turbot and the venison and I can honestly say that the turbot was the best I've ever eaten. These guys really know how to cook fish. This restaurant is a real gem of a place. You'd never find it if you didn't know it was there. Please make the effort to find it - it's really worth it!
Sheldrakes – HeswallThis cafe is a proper dump I got food poisoning from here was in agony for a week
Millers Bridge Grill and Sandwich Co – BootleWe have been going to Asiana as a takeaway for a long time and have never been disappointed. Recently managed to go for a sit down meal having arranged a babysitter. This gave me the opportunity to have one of the sizzling fish platters which I had been wanting to try but hadn't been convinced it would work as a takeaway. Wow it was so good, never been disappointed with this restaurant and it means we don't have to venture far to enjoy the best curry in Liverpool
Asiana – West DerbyReally great atmosphire, lovely decor and food very enjoyable.Have booked again
The Freshfield – FormbyThe food is very good, staff very friendly,we go there for special occasions and really enjoy it, will keep on going there..
Ho’s Restaurant – PrescotHad a lovely meal at New York Cut in Liverpool this weekend. The service was fantastic, excellent customer service and I was even called back today to see if we enjoyed it. More importantly the steak was amazing, its a really nice intimate place and the background music was live piano. Really enjoyed it and cant wait to go back, you wont be disappointed.
New York Cut Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar – Liverpool City CentreWent last Saturday to Gusto under protest really as Italian wouldn't be my 1st choice. Chose the Rib eye for this reason and it was one the best steaks I have had. Service good and atmosphere great, very "buzzy". Will return.
Gusto – Liverpool City CentreThis far the worst restaurant in Liverpool by a country mile. If you're in Liverpool DO NOT go here. If you're coming to Liverpool DO NOT go here. The service is the worst; they confuse lemonade for a coke (difficult I know) no black pepper means yes black pepper. The owner basically sits on your lap. And the other waiting staff look like something from the munsters. If you get you're own table feel lucky because if you don't you'll be sharing your meal with another couple or even worse a family of four. Just take the warning and give this place a miss.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreThis is a lovely place to eat: the food is delicious, they have plenty of choice and the tiramasu is the best I have ever tasted. The staff are attentive and were very kind to my elderly mother who has difficulty walking but enjoys a lively atmosphere. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal or for a romantic dinner later on. Top marks!
Bellini Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – Liverpool City CentreJust called to book the toast to roast at @£9.95 they said they offer is not on , so why is it on sugarvine
Malmaison Brasserie – Liverpool City CentreExcellent welcome every time we visit, always feel to come back after the first time after 20 years.
Taj Mahal – WaterlooI visited eastzeast Liverpool with my husband yesterday . This was our first visit and will be our last. The place is very magnificent inside but it lacks an atmosphere with it being so vast. I had booked a table for two a few weeks earlier and they could not find my booking which was not a good start. food is very expensive for what it is, we can get the same quality elsewhere for half the price. it worked out as £25 per person for a starter and a main course. There were too many staff serving us which got really confusing, at one stage we were surrounded by nearly 5 members of staff, i found this uncomfortable and intimidating. A positive is that the food tasted good but again was costly. There are many other restaurants in the area I would rather go and eat at.Overall I was very disappointed.
