I go fairly regularly often with a large group. The food is great , people are really friendly and courteous. Could not recommend more highly.

Asiana – West DerbyThis really is a hidden little gem of an Indian restaurant / takeaway. I am an avid curry fan and am very particular about quality Indian food. This place has such a mouthwateringly diverse menu, I get hungry just thinking about it. Some curry houses have a very bland selection to choose from but The Indian Palace caters for every taste bud. Sweet, sour, mild to blindingly hot, the dishes here make this my number one choice for Indian food. The staff are very polite too. The only thing missing on the menu for me is a 'mansuri' dish or 'lamb chop tandoori.' I would love to see those added to this already tantalising menu, but I'm just greedy. Five star food, which I thoroughly recommend to any fan of Indian cuisine. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Simply superb!
Bengal Lounge – SouthportI have had many Indian meals and The Kasturi is one of the finest restaurants in Southport. There is an authentic taste and some fantastic dishes. A takeaway delivery service would be nice but other than that, you can't go wrong. Pure quality!
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – Southporttop restaurant first class service and the food is unbeatable salt and pepper crispy chicken is the one for me and crispy duck finished with a steak dinner, kids meals are great too, jimmy and his wife and family are lovely people and make you feel at home, its are fave restaurant by far, first class service,
Chung Lok Chinese Restaurant – BootleGreat service and friendly staff, good value for money and clean. Location is great with an upstairs conservatory that has a sliding roof in the summer!
Hannahs Bar – Liverpool City Centrei have eaten in many restaurants in merseyside and across the country and i can honestly say ego is the best (the one in hope street Liverpool) the service the food and staff so attentive would highly recommend
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI was disappointed when I visited. Why bother to sell frozen, over cooked Calamari? The staff all looked at me as though I had done something wrong because I only wanted two starters, and I was the only customer. Never again!
Mezze – WallaseyThe one and only Master Chef, best in Liverpool, not been for a while, the Wife has a broken foot, so yes the staff are so friendly.
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreUsed to be a good place to eat but the standard has slipped within the last few months. Food cold and very delayed
Rueters – SouthportBeen in the past and it was excellent but went last Tuesday and the food was not nice, the service was terrible. Disappointed as the last time it was perfect.
Auberge Brasserie – Southportwhere can i start went there sat night and the place was empty i know why now there was 15 of us on a birthday party what a shambles food was awful the starters where cold and waiters clueless the mains were even worse four of the five steaks stone cold had to go back with a grunt from the waiters when told . the calzones with no tomato sauce in them a main ingredient again waiters not bothered and to top it all off they couldn't even make an espresso it went back 3 times as it was just black water waiters just said what can i do great!! the thing that gets me is this is meant to be an Italian so why have kebabs and bangers and mash on menu?? in a word awful place if u want this enjoy if you want proper Italian food go elsewhere!!!!!
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooI have been visiting The Botanic Gardens since before I was old enough to remember and cannot recall a trip without a visit to the excellent family run cafe. Always greeted with a smile, the service and food quality can always be relied upon. Everyone I have taken there has commented on the milky coffee and the chips. There is foo to appeal to everyone and the homemade specials are always lovely. Since recently going there with my own son, the highchairs and flexibility make it a great place to take our little boy. I would recommend it without reservation.
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – SouthportThe map points to the Wellington in Hale Village which is a nowhere near Mossley Hill. I went to the Wellington in Hale for lunch today. Its a good place for plane spotters as its under the flight path to Liverpool Airport but this does not adversely affect the pub.The food was well cooked and the choice what you would expect from a pub, the staff were friendly and service quick. I had the steak and ale pie which was very nice.Altogether I enjoyed the meal, nothing special but no real faults except for one thing. The cup of tea was exceptionally weak, something others I know who have visited have commented on, so best give that a miss.
The Wellington – Mossley HillJust visited for the first time and have to say the food was delightful. The service was first class and it is a lovely intimate little restaurant. Will definitely be returning.
Asiana – West DerbyFantastic food and service. Never fails to please me each time I go. Really good value for money too. Jim
Lings on Kings – SouthportWe went Fri' afternoon. Great food, attentive staff and a great feeling about the place. The best Plaice dish my partner had ever had.. We will be returning soon..
Hanover Street Social – Liverpool City CentreI have tried a variety of the dishes at Selam Cafe and they have all been delicious! The freshly cooked injera are a real treat with the different spiced sauces. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The coffee ceremony is a must, the coffee is made from scratch in front of you and tastes amazing. This place is well worth a visit.
Selam Cafe – WavertreeThis is the 2nd time iv post on this website regarding que pasa cantina. The 1st was a 10 out of 10 review however I'm sad to say I can not say the same again this time. My wife and have been many times and for a long time it was fortnightly night out for us. The 1at time we went we met the manager. A lovely young man who was absolutely outstanding I could not praise him enough. My wife and I were sad to hear that he left in early January as he always recognised us and always made sure we were well looked after and that there was a table for us no matter how busy they were. After he left things seemed to change altho the service was still good and the food was excellent there was something not the same. Slowly we noticed lapses in service and standards a prime example being when a woman in her late 40's early 50's with dark hair sat us took our drinks order. Are drinks took over 20minutes to arrive. After which we had to wait a further 20minutes for a food order to be taken despite telling our server we were ready to order when she brought our drinks over. The woman completely ignored us and walked off. When are food did arrive it was wrong. My wife has an intolerance to sour cream thus we asked for our nachos to be without sour cream. When we raised this with our server she quickly took the nachos away and they were replaced. We didn't think anything of it as mistakes do happen. But we were.shocked to find that my wifes burrito to be covered in sour cream. We raised this with our server who said we hadn't explained my wifes intolerance to sour cream. The food was replaced by which point we felt our night had been marred by the incompetance of our server.nt only did she gt our food wrong bt she kept bringing us drinks we did not order or the wrong drinks. After paying our bill in FULL we decided to leave. On my way out I decide I want to speak to the manager and asked the lad behind the bar who pointed over my shoulder at the woman who had served us. All I can say is what a joke. Will not be returning anytime soon and we now both understand que pasa's decline. What a shame!!
