What great friendly atmosphere from the time you walk in , friendly staff super value for money on food and drinks, I work in a school and I'm off this week so will be visiting Friday 20th February meeting up with family and definitely will feel stress free from my work life sitting relaxing having a bite to eat and a couple of drinks, can't wait. Thank you to The William Gladstone.

Spaghetti Carbonara Spot on! Was here just before new years and they spoilt us rotten! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and treated the wife and I like stars. Great bar area too and before we knew it we'd spent the whole night there, when we only went for a quick meal.

After visiting this Thai restaurant a week ago with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. I deceided to treat my partner on Valentines night and was not impressed. Too many staff hovering around table, taking plates and glasses away before even finishing. We both felt that we could not even hold a conversation with eachother as the staff where stood around the table just watching. A set menu was provided which was ok but not as great as the food was the week before. When dessert came to the table it was a small piece of cake on one plate. We mentioned to staff that we had only reveived one dessert. They replied "you have to share that". This was completely embarrassing as I had explained how amazing this place was to eat and we were both somewhat surprised. When you are paying £30 per head, we would have certainly expect to receive our own desert on our own plate. We felt that we were jus being rushed out and this is a shame as I originally thought it was a great place to eat and would have visited in the future on a regular basis. This review is jus to make manager staff aware of our experience.

This is my 5th visit, can't stay away the food is fantastic and each time I've come I've ordered something different so I can work my way through the menu. I've not had anything i wouldn't order again, its all amazing. The staff are great and the place just has a lovely atmosphere. 5 stars from me *****

Belllaire Catering provided the buffet for my 50th birthday party two years ago. I was so impressed with them that I would like them to organise the catering for my son's 30th birthday party this year. Exceptionally good quality food

My family and I have been coming to the Ying Wah for many years the food is fab and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great for breakfast. Also ordered a buffet from there, all I can say was there was loads left and it was absolutely fantastic.....Will defo be ordering as I have a function coming up in next few months.

I visited the Copper Pot Knowsley, this was my first visit. I waited for 10 mins to be seated as there seemed to be no staff around, when we eventually got seated we had a choice of tables as the restaurant was inly about 1/3 full. We waited again for about 5 mins before the waitress came to the table and asked us were we ready to order and what drinks we wanted, we asked for more time to check out the menu but ordered our drinks. 15 mins later we had to ask a waitress again for our drinks and said we were ready to order, she then said she was busy and disappeared, about ten minutes later she returned and took our food order and assured us our drinks were on the way. Another 5 minutes past still no drinks, we noticed during this time two staff sat having a a break and eating a meal other staff we looking through the whole behind them having a good chat which was annoying it seamed so close but yet so far for us to get any decent service. Eventually our meals came, the waitress never smiled once and didn't even ask if we wanted sauces etc. Shortly followed by our drinks, we had been sat in the restraunt for about 40 minuets by this time. The meal was really nice I must admit, but this was tainted by slow service and the gathering of staff and the laughter from the staff at the table facing us. I am about to celebrate my 50th birthday and was looking to see if my family and I would have a special experience at the Copper Pot while having my birthday meal. I don't think my family would be happy with their experience if this was the case again on the day. I will try the Copper Pot again mainly because of the lovely food, but if the service is as bad again we won't be visiting again I hope that whatever went wrong on my first visit was a one off, as its a place I would love to regularly attend. Really good, tasty rotisserie chicken. Great roasted vegetables. Super friendly service. Very impressed. Restaurant small, we went at lunch and had no problem getting a seat but it may pay to book in the evening. You can even take your own wine.

The Jug and Bottle is a great looking pub inside. The exterior does not do it justice. It has lots of character and an upmarket feel. My lunchtime feed was excellent. Pity I was driving as I would have liked to have tried a real ale or two by their roaring fire.

Been coming to this place for a few years now and great service every time. I recommend the poached eggs they are lovely. Thanks Kelsey
