I didn't realise what a great function suite Ying Wah had. It's on the second floor with it's own bar. We went for a party the other day and were very well catered for!

Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonThe Elephant and The Liberty Tavern next door are apparently owned by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer. I like the look of the place. It has a relaxed feel. Not too trendy or contemporary or not wallowing in nostalgia either. My chicken and pesto pizza was very good, though my wife was not over excited about her soup. Service was very good and the waiter did a good job of pushinhg their sister establishment next door. Will try that next time I reckon.
The Elephant – WooltonDecided to come here with my family for birthday wish I never did!! Absolutely disgusting food, disgusting service. Chicken was grey and when we told the waiter he just started laughing. Absolutely appalling.
New China Garden – West DerbyI have been coming to the Gate of India for about 20 years now and I've never been disappointed. the food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone. If you live in the waterloo area and have never been, get yourself down there!
Gate Of India – WaterlooChicken Chow Main we had went in the bin, chicken was slimy. Not happy.
Scotch Barn Supper Bar / Lucky Jade – PrescotHi Ann, just wanted the say a huge thank you for organising Jack's christening yesterday. We all had an amazing day and the staff and venue are brilliant. Thanks again for having us. Tina, John & baby Jack.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreJust got a meal from there and the meat was dead chewy it had lots of onions in it, come on Gerry. That meal was crap.
George Gerry’s – BootleI ordered chicken kebabs from the menu. The owner told me they don't do chicken kebabs and that I was moaning when I asked her why this item is on the menu when they clearly don't serve it. Her reply was that other people don't moan they just order another meal - poor deluded individual they do comment but just not to her. I have been a regular customer since my late teens some 30 years ago. The new management have no customer skills and food standards have declined rapidly. I won't be giving them my custom again,
The White Horse – WooltonMy daughter and I absolutely love the Tea Rooms and the surrounding atmosphere, now we always come here for lunch when we visit Southport. Love the detail and quirkiness of the style, its like stepping back in time!. The food and service are excellent, very good value for money.
Nostalgia Tea Rooms – SouthportPopped in for a meal with my sister. Amazing food, restaurant is beautifully done to the highest standard, really friendly staff, would recommend anyone to pay it a visit.
Chy Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWhat can I say about Bills! It's a little gem of a place from the moment you walk through the door till you leave. Staff are spot on from the waiting on staff to front of house nothing is to much bother for them. I went with a friend for a coffee but ended up having an early lunch. The food is fresh and just the right portions of it and hot, the cumbaland sausages in honey mustard to die for! Recommed I most certainly do!????
Bill’s Restaurant Liverpool – Liverpool OneDecent food for a Scouse Takeaway, no wonder its quite a top ranked place on all major online portals. Quantity, quality and affordable. Regards, see you Mumbai on Sunday
Mumbai Indian Takeaway – Liverpool City CentreMust say the food and service was fantastic. Went with friends for a night out, could not fault the place. Staff were excellent will definitely be going back very soon.
Le Frog Bistro – St.HelensAbsolutely delicious and mouthwatering food. Simply, the best Indian curries I've had in Liverpool in the last 25 years!!
Mumbai Indian Takeaway – Liverpool City CentreI went to Othellos restaurant for the first time. It was our anniversary and you could not fault the food and service it was excellent and very pleasant surroundings. We will be definitely going back again.
Othellos – WooltonEnjoyed a lovely family meal (70th) birthday, on 20th October. Manager and assistant manager, Lynn, ensured that that our needs were catered for, service polite and professional. Refurbishment, amazing. Environment warm. Returning soon.
The Coffee House – Wavertree1.33 am thursday morning, no-one in the bar and just like every silly self absorbed night. The staff crank up inane music - to attract no persons, because If they were going there,t hey would be in there by now. Door is always open. Blarring tunes out. Occasionally one good tune. But not worth waking every lovely neighbour up. Inconsiderate, selfish, WHO ever thinks they are in charge - Obviously are NOT, and clearly have no brain for serious business . Shame really. Too many kids, no guidance, no acumen, ========= No idea.
The Harbour Bar – WaterlooOur waitress Holly from Newcastle couldn't do enough for us she made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be coming back very soon. Thank you Holly.
