Fantastic food and service, couldn't fault anything about it. Well worth a visit.

Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant – West KirbyDefinitely one of the best place to eat in southport. Excellent value for money, I go pretty much every week with my girlfriend and recommend it to everyone I know. The daily food deals such as half price steaks on Tuesday and two for one pizzas on a Wednesday are extreme value for money!
Rueters – SouthportCan't go wrong with Pizza Express. Like the new range from their new executive chef. I had a top pizza served on slate and great new salad called semplica i think. Good views out of the big windows at this one in Southport
Pizza Express – SouthportWe went to Casa Mia last week for the first time in a few years as we've not had chance to go out alot and was impressed by the new menu as there was alot more choice and the prices were very reasonable, the £4.95 pizza / pasta menu which is on in the week will definitely have us eating there more often as the portions are still the normal size and very filling. We were well looked after and the staff were very helpful.
Dined at San Carlo for the first time last night. The service from the many italian waiters was first class. Food was superb. The only downside was that the tables were very close together. Saying this, I will definitely be making a return visit!
San Carlo – Liverpool City Centremeals here are just gorgeous, very quick to cook the meals so no waiting around......
TSO’s – AintreeHaving eaten at Bistro Jacques before we were quite looking forward to a pre pub quiz meal, however our whole party left extremely deflated after the experience. Myself and one college ordered the chicken stuffed with black pudding which turned up barely cooked. I chanced mine and ate it ,by my college left the whole dish and complained at the end of the meal, only to be told by the waitress there was nothing wrong with it despite the fact it was bright pink - no apology was received ! The starters were minuscule, another colleague had to eat a whole seabass without a fish knife and the final member of our party was also disappointed with the size of the steak. These meals were ordered off the main menu at full price so there was no excuse for the small sized portions. We all agreed after the meal that we would give Bistro Jacques a wide berth after this experience.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreThe food is Turkish influenced Mediterranean and very reasonably priced. Three of us had different meals and all said they were delicious. The atmosphere was warm and very friendly. You can take your own wine with £2 corkage although they do now have a licence for alcohol. A starter and main was about £12 before a tip. I would recommend this restaurant.
Eton Place Cafe Bistro – Childwalli have been going to this chippy for 10years as it is my local, they do the best fish and scallops i have ever tasted and there Chinese food is better than most.
Chris’s Fish and Chips – Mossley HillHong Sing restaurant is great!! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. Drinks are good, but that doesn't matter when you think about food. Great friendly staff and I adore this all my life!! IT also great for special occasions and parties!
Hong Sing – St.HelensThis is by far the best Indian I have ever eaten in! As a complete curry addict I have eaten in restaurants all over the UK and this one cannot be beaten. Thankfully I live reasonably close so I can enjoy it regularly!
Britannia Spice – Heswallwent to casa mia west kirby worst meal i have had since 1982 it was that memorable, for all the wrong reasons,i ordered a seafood risotto it wasn't even risotto rice it was pudding rice with a few gnarled rock hard minute prawns and when i complained the owner had the gall to tell me English people don't want proper risotto my partner had an overcooked pasta dish which was in her words unforgettable for the wrong reasons awful food no ambience dont go i did not pay
lovely meal last night - service great, starter and pud outstandingly well-presented, BUT tables far too squashed together and cramped.
San Carlo – Liverpool City CentreI have been going to the ying wah for years , the staff are great the food is great and a great place to take the family , they make you feel at home.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonGreat food, great service! A must go!!!!
New Orchid Garden – West DerbyWent last week for my daughters birthday as she loves Chinese food we were quite disappointed as portions were small and expensive, waiters were not very attentive if a little rude as kept speaking Chinese to each other and then kept staring. The food was OK but not great, have been to better Chinese restaurants before as a result will not be returning.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreHave been meaning to call in for a while having driven past every day for a few months. Went last week for restaurant and it was so good we had a takeaway this Saturday! Fantastic service and beautiful food. We will definitely go back, a very welcome addition to West Derby Village!
Asiana – West DerbyOh dear! Went to Almond on Saturday 20th March 2010. A night of disaster!!! 1st: Pumpkin soup - absolutely tasteless! and had lumps of what looked like flour floating in it - yuk. 2nd: Had plaice in a creamy sauce. Smelled very 'fishy' when it arrived and tasted even worse. I think it was off and couldn't stomach any more of it. Veg severely undercooked too. 3rd: Apple pie and custard: Raw underneath!!!! Absolutely no excuse for this bad food. Chef obviously incompetent who doesn't taste his own food for flavour. Reported to the manager at the end of the meal who said she 'was sorry about that' Never offered a refund or a solution to rectify the situation. She says on the website she 'loves customer service' - well she has no skills there either. Beware bad food at ALMOND WEST DERBY!!!!!!!
