Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreFabulous food, served in a warm and friendly environment. Highly recommended to all Chinese food lovers.
Mr Chans – St.HelensHave eaten at the Chung Ku on several occasions, last time there was with my in-laws, family anniversary 20 adults and children. Had a fantastic banquet, staff were very friendly and service was excellent.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreFantastic. Quality, service, everything.
Bistrot Verite – SouthportGreat location, and very friendly staff. We had the moussaka and it was delicious, you know why this place has been going for years. Home made, fresh quality food. Worth the price and definitely going here again
Zorbas – Liverpool City CentreWent to the New York on a weekday evening - good service from both staff, attentive without being overbearing. Sometimes I feel places like yates do not ask if everything is ok enough and some more fancy places never leave u alone. Had a small steak for £6.50 (forget the new york themed name) and it was excellent, cooked perfectly, although there was only a few other eating so i couldnt say if the quality is worse when busy. my wife enjoyed her meal too, a burger. Simple food certainly, but we felt full and satisfied by the service from the young waitress and barman and never had to move for sauces/drinks etc. Drinks did go up at 8PM, although this was explained to us, although we had gone on other drinks that are not affected by then. 8/10, would recommend.
New York Cafe Bar – Mossley HillWas staying at the Hilton recently when over for a united game. went to Yee Rah for a meal with my girlfriend. We both had the Spicy Udon Noodles. It was one of the nicest meals I've ever had! I'd actually revisit Liverpool for another meal! 10 out of 10!
Yee Rah Bar & Grill – Liverpool City CentreVisited for the first time on saturday, 28th May after finding this on sugarvine. We got there for 5.30pm so decided to go for the £13.95 two course special menu, with free drink. It was absolutely gorgeous, mussels and asparagas to start, both cooked to perfection, then fillet steak and duck, which was devine. Polished off with a bottle of the house wine at £8.95 it was great value. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the decor was lovely. I would definately recommend it and can't wait to go again the next time we are back in Liverpool.
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City CentreBeautiful downstairs but then faced with a number of stairs to get upto the restaurant area which is light and airy but more cafe style. Well stocked all you can eat buffet and chips provided to the table. Staff were slow to attend to us despite the restaurant being relatively empty, they didn't advise us what to do we just had to assume and work out ourselves. The meat servers were VERY slow and we were left with empty plates waiting for meat. They also scrimped with theses poor cuts of fatty meat. In saying that we did sample quite a few cuts of meat and the spicy chicken and shoulder of beef were beautiful and the only two upto scratch. We didn't even stay here an hour, very disappointed and will not be going back. Overpriced, poor service, no atmosphere and terrible cuts of meat. Ruined my birthday meal!
Bem Brasil – Liverpool City CentreI have visited the kerala kitchen many times, the food is the best Indian food I have tasted outside of India. They have a fantastic veggie choice which is gorgeous. If you enjoy Indian food and being looked after by friendly staff you must visit this place
Kerala Kitchen – Birkenheadvery very nice was so nice we are going back next week excellent food and service
The Real China – SouthportAte here with friends, had a lovely meal, all had the £28 per head banquet which was excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our night in beautiful surroundings. John the Concierge was extremely helpful and welcoming. Cant wait to go back.
Matou – Liverpool City CentreJust to say that I totally agree with the taxi driver, it was OK but not for the prices charged. There are much better value places in and around Crosby
The Fat Italian – CrosbyLong story short!! Don't go unless you want to wait for an hour and 20 minutes to be served without any apology once it finally arrived after complaining 3 times. A lot of other customers just left!! Very disappointing!!!
The Game Bird – St.HelensHad a great meal here: food was lovely and it has a nice friendly feel inside. They also seem to do a lot of weekday deals.
Bistro Noir – AigburthWent here May 2011 after having had a lovely meal for my brother's birthday a couple of years ago. What a disappointment! The food was incredibly salty this time and lacked flavour - I asked for a replacement but that was equally inedible. My partner's meal was a little better but nowhere near as good as I remember. They also add 10% service charge on automatically, which I thought was very cheeky given the poor experience. A waste of an evening and at £50 for two courses, two drinks and one side, not cheap either.
Mayur – Liverpool City CentreWe have eaten many times, always good!!
Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria – SouthportIve visited the Colliers Arms for several years now and have never had a meal that has been anything but excellent. You wouldn't think that such first class food could be served in a little pub off the beaten track.... but it is!!!! Whilst recommendations are a great guide for others there's a part of me that wishes I'm not doing so. Id rather keep this little gem all to myself!!!!
