Just keeps on sending out consistently great food, not to mention the extensive wine cellar. Really nice ambience too, I love the place - Jesus, I think I'll go for lunch tomorrow.

Spire – WavertreeWent along to the Munro today Saturday for lunch after a long time shopping with my daughter .It was her first visit to the Munro I had been quite a few times before and kept recommending it to her .Well she was not disappointed the two coarse lunch is excellent best fish and chips we've had in a long time .the staff are very pleasant and polite and never rush you .The place is a little gem .So much so my daughter has plans to go back for an evening meal with her friends . Keep up the good work .
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreI have never thought to pen a review before but can only say I must have been inspired! Whether it is the food, the ambience, the location, or all of these ingredients, I can only recommend Sheldrakes. Completely contented, is how I felt after my latest dining experience at Sheldrakes - A restaurant with panoramic views of the Dee estuary and to North Wales beyond. The warmth is in the welcome, a glowing fire, rustic decor, friendly and attentive staff, and a vibrantly diverse menu. I had to opt for the fish given the coastal location and was promptly served a Cod loin cooked to perfection in a complementary saffron and fennel seed sauce. A wintry afternoon watching the skies platinum shades fade and brighten in the River Dee over the Sunday Carvery; a summers eve taster of your favourite Mediterranean destination, complete with chilled rose; or a spontaneous treat for that special someone whilst the nightlights twinkle on the far riverside. The combinations would be difficult to recreate, as your experience will be unique.
Sheldrakes – HeswallWe have been to Cathay Dynasty more times than I can remember, and we will continue to return! Fabulous food, great prices and great for kids!! Really welcoming! Give it a try and .... Enjoy!!
Cathay Dynasty – St.Helensrecommend highly, food fab, service fab, staff fab, prices fab, better than the Beatles.keep up the good work. see you next week.
Colours Restaurant – St.HelensI love the ying wah. Its in my top 3 restaurants. The special fried rice is amazing. I have been going there now for many years (even had a birthday meal in there). The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful yet just leave you to enjoy your meal. You don't feel rushed in here were in some restaurants you feel as if there trying to rush you out the door for the next customer. Will be there again this weekend. Looking forward to it
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonVisited here twice recently, once just before xmas and on 5th Feb 2010. Although both times the food when it arrived was quite good we found the staff a bit distant and distracted. Both times there was a long wait between starters and our mains arriving and we had to ask each time when our mains were going to be served. All in all not bad but in our experience be prepared for a long wait between courses.
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreThe best around..friendly staff, Alex, Manuel from Mexico, Paolo...great team...and the cocktails are fantastic, great value for money...tasty food, Mexican beers......the music its great......mariachi...salsa lot of rhythms..........the margaritas are wooooaaaaoooo... Malmaison Brasserie – Liverpool City CentreMeals are lovely! my favorite 3meat fried rice, char sui omellete. The salt & chilli bits hit the spot 2.
Chan’s Chop Suey House – AintreeI visited this restaurant with 2 friends after getting addicted to Greek food in Liverpool area thanks to sugarvine in helping me to locate them. We arrived at the restaurant at around 6pm on a Tuesday evening to find the restaurant NOT really located as described "in the heart of the city, close to the Liverpool One shopping centre" 1.5 miles away to be precise. It is located on a very quiet dockside road amongst the warehouses and factory units. We found the restaurant to be very quiet in fact we were the only ones in during our 2 hour visit. We opted as we always have done at other Greek restaurants for the Mezze Banquet ( GREEK SALAD, BEETROOT SALAD, TARAMOSALATA, HOUMOUS, TAHINI, TZATZIKI, DOLMADAKIA, KEFTEDAKIA, HALOUMI LOUNTZA, KING PRAWNS, CALAMARI, SALMON COOKED IN A FAB SAUCE & MAINCOURSE LAMB CUTLETS & GRILLED MEATS ) all of which was of good quality, fresh tasting, well presented, plentiful and cooked well , we would have preferred the hot food to be heated a little more but it really wasn't a major issue, the bread was so good we had to order a second basket ( for which we didn't get charged ) , there was a few variations to the menu from what we are used to elsewhere which we liked to see and got the thumbs up for us all. The only major issue apart from confusing / misleading location, and the quite cold restaurant was the main course part of the banquet it consisted of a small quantity ( for 3 Adults ) of charcoal grilled meat & lamb chops and that was it, no accompaniment of rice or potatoes or anything ( like we usually get elsewhere ) we all agreed this let the whole experience down for us. The price for the whole meal was on par with local competitors which we found to be reasonable. Would we return...........maybe not for the only reason being the issues we had with the main course?
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreWe've been going to this restaurant since it opened and every time has been a wonderful experience. The food and service is excellent. Ali is the perfect host and chef!! We'd recommend trying the Sunday buffet as it's a great opportunity to sample dishes you may not otherwise have chosen and it's also great value for money.

Wonderful staff very efficient and happy. Food was amazing. Live act was incredible. 80+ people there and food was spot on delicious.
