The Monro – Liverpool City Centrei often visit Edwards as you are always guaranteed quality dining and never have i once been disappointed always a pleasure
Edwards – Waterloovery good quality food, nice pizza. the best beef burger i ve tasted. strongly recommended.
Pizza Magic 10 – BirkenheadThe best Indian restaurant in the area. Friendly service, excellent quality and choice of food - plenty of mild dishes, but if you like hot and tasty, try the dishes with naga chillies. Prices are very reasonable, and and it's b.y.o., so it's the best value I've found in the north-west. The downstairs restaurant is small so there's plenty of atmosphere, and they have a separate room upstairs for any large groups or functions.
Alam Balti House – HeswallThis is by far the best Greek restaurant in Liverpool. If you love Greek food then give this a try, the food is amazing, it is cooked to perfection. My husband and i have been going to this restaurant for years now, and we are never disappointed. Marie and Gerry make you feel very welcome, the food is to die for and the atmosphere is amazing. I would recommend the Othellos special every time ! Give this a try without a doubt !
Othellos – WooltonI went to Salvatores a few weeks back now on a Saturday it is on the main street in southport town centre great location, I can honestly say I have never had better service and food. The Italian waiter was very hospitable and the kitchen seemed to have much experience in the food they were cooking. I had the Calamari to start and my husband had the Garlic and bacon mushrooms absolutely gorgeous, presentation also. For mains I had the rack of lamb and my husband had a penne pasta with salmon and king prawns he very much enjoyed this said the sauce was out of this world. We would very much recommend this to anyone it is a lovely place to eat. Definitely going back. See you soon
Salvatore’s – SouthportLove it Love it Love it. I have been 3 or 4 times and every time was excellent. My partner and I eat out as often as possible, and I have to say this is my favourite place to go. There is not one thing I could complain about (except perhaps I do not get there enough) Food, Service and surroundings are all top notch at a very reasonable price.
Kozi – PrescotWe have dined at The Portrait House on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed it. Recently, I held a surprise birthday party there for my wife. Everything was organised by The Portrait House and the whole event was just perfect. I cannot thank them enough. They arranged live music, welcome drinks, provided a really excellent buffet - not the usual sausage rolls and sandwiches, etc., and the price was very reasonable indeed. I wholeheartedly recommend The Portrait House.
The Portrait House – HoylakeA group of 6 girls went to Lunya on Bank Holiday monday. we had a beautiful meal. The food was amazing, superb cava and lovely service. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Have just booked for a big girly night out as the cocktails were superb. We were even sat next to an international footballer - no idea who he was, but he was a hunk!
Lunya – Liverpool City CentreWe love the Yuet Ben! We think it's the best Chinese in LIverpool. Fantastic food, crispy duck is the best ever (they make their own pancakes and bring you more if you run out, yummy hoi sin too), crispy chilli beef delicious too as were the rest of the meals sampled by our party. Attentive staff who were willing to engage in some light banter when we ordered two starters and the rest of our party only ordered one "So you'll be eating your second starter and they'll be sitting there watching you?" Hilarious. Very pleasantly accommodated the birthday cake I had brought for my brother and even provided a candle and music without prior warning. Please go there, you will not be disappointed. We'll be going again very soon.
Yuet Ben – Liverpool City CentreEmperor's new clothes - pretensions of greatness but no substance of any kind. We went the summer before last and had a wonderful meal. This time (2/5/10) Marshall appeared to have been beguiled by the fine art/fine dining movement but clearly lacks the skills to pull it off, the end result being a confusing combination of mismatched flavours which left one completely unsatisfied in every sense. The once magnificent cheese board has now diminished to a somber looking bunch of dried out specimens that would better grace a Christmas buffet down at the local sports and social club. This really was a terribly disappointing experience from a restaurant which promised so much. Marshall needs to rethink or move on, quickly.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreI have been a fan of zizzi since the first time I was taken there a year ago. Since then I have taken family and friends there for lunches and dinners and never was I disappointed. However, I must write of a really negative experience I recently had. A part from the cold draft coming from the kitchen door, which made me shiver for the entire duration of the meal, my arancini were clearly from the night before's service, just a little warmed up, probably in a microwave. The pizza dough was undercooked, it had very little tomato sauce so it was very dry; same goes for my son's pizza. My husband's fish course came with hard as rock potatoes. Overall, not a satisfying Sunday lunch. What a disappointment...
Zizzi – Liverpool City CentreWe have dined here several times and tried various meals and every single one has been exceptional. The staff are very welcoming but not imposing the decor is amazing. Whilst the prices may seem slightly higher than some, the quality of the food make this good value. Highly Recommend- Enjoy we did.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreWe have dined here several times and tried various meals and every single one has been exceptional. The staff are very welcoming but not imposing the decor is amazing. W
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreWe enjoyed the Sunday offer. What a fabulous way to spend the afternoon! The food was delicious and the wine a great compliment. Would definitely recommend this place!
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreThis was our first experience of Greek cuisine and we were not disappointed. Although small, the restaurant was warm and friendly. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We had prawn cocktail followed by the Greek banquet and the whole meal was first class. Every dish was freshly cooked and served piping hot. The chocolate cake looked and tasted heavenly. Brilliant night.
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West Derby...First time we went was ok, However the second time was a joke...the menu had just changed(only after i ate i found out it had been changed from Freshly cooked food to Microwave meals) The meal, ...Kids meal with raw chicken...yes RAW However the chef said the pink was bacon. My meal Hunters Chicken, Cold meat, sent back...My misses's meal...Blatently microwaved...with cheese in the sauce...no mention of this on the menu...She cant eat dairy! The mothering law's meal....Even after the second attempt at stuffed chicken breast we got chicken breast with a blob of dry sauce on top,no mushrooms as per menu with no rocket with dressing, The chicken was RAW...the chef then said it was bacon (Even though no bacon on the dish he insisted it was) However we knew it was RAW...We were offered a sandwich to replace it!!!!!!!!! This dish alone was £11...Which they refunded, after telling us that it came out a pack.... HOW THIS PLACE CAN TRADE SELLING MICROWAVE JUNK< WHICH IS RAW I DO NOT KNOW. call me before you waste your cash Ed 07772000000
