PANAM Restaurant & Bar – Liverpool City CentreI have been going to Esteban for a number of years and find the food good and the staff even better. I would recommend this Tapas bar for good service.
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthGusto is so great. Went to Gusto in the Albert Dock for my birthday with my boyfriend and then to Gusto in Heswall with my family for another birthday meal, it was great, will definitely be back! The staff are really friendly, obviously a company thing of great staff! They are really impressive, definitely the best restaurant in the Wirral. Thank you. Layla.
Gusto – HeswallWe visited The Monro last Sunday for a late lunch and were tremendously impressed by the whole experience. The food was fantastic (Ham Hock terrine starter and Roast Beef main being particular highlights). The atmosphere of the dining rooms and bar area is so relaxed that at times you forget you are so close to a bustling city centre. The staff were attentive and both the food and wine were exceptional value (£11.95 for two course and a bottle of lovely Malbec for £14). This place is something of a well kept secret - in fact I'm not sure why I'm letting anyone else know! Not to be missed,
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreWe were recommended by some friends and had a terrific time. This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in a very long time. Cozy ambience and great service enhanced with personality and humour . The portions are excellent and the flavour is exquisite. Mood is quaint with no rush to be out of the restaurant so you can have your quality conversation over dinner. Akshaya is absolutely a pleasure to dine in!
Akshaya – Liverpool City CentreVisited Savina last month, the food was below average, the manager, young bloke was an idiot and seemed like he wanted to treat customers with no respect. The cocktails were below standard for the price, and I also noticed in the cocktails non branded alcohol was used, when menu's clearly stated bacardi, smirnoff etc. Will not be going ever again!!!
Savina – Liverpool City CentreWe went last Saturday and had a great time. We had the lamb curry and mutton fry-both were superb, tender succulent and really flavoursome not oily at all either,we had starters and sides and we were very full.staff were fabulous, attentive, knowledgeable about the dishes. was great value too- will definitely be back.
Akshaya – Liverpool City CentreThe cafe bar is a little gem of a place. Food is excellent and of good quality. I had the Lasagne with a choice of 3 salads they even make their own coleslaw!! Husband had Thai fishcakes
Blackburne House – Liverpool City CentreWe visited here for a meal for the first time this week. Hubby and cousin had pizza which looked amazing and how a pizza should be. They even made the pizza to my fussy cousins specification! without fuss. Wasn't impressed with my pasta though I had the Amatricana and it was a bit on the cold side, pasta was too heavy. Desserts looked good and were enjoyed by some of the group
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreI have been eating Chinese throughout Liverpool for the past 30 years; Zen hosted by manager John serves fantastic food with fantastic customer care by all staff. i would give it a 5 star rating.
Zen – West DerbyMy hubby & I enjoyed an early evening meal at fat mommas on 16 11 10. Super garlic bread ,sufficient for 2 people was followed by delicious cajun chicken linguine and gorgeous chicken & mushroom penne pasta with marsala sauce. Sooo tasty. Lovely environment for a tea time treat & attentive staff. Comfy seating & good variety of desserts. Management appreciative of comments and offered complimentary glass of wine before bill paid ! Would recommend as a place for relaxed dining. Give it a try, we will most certainly be visiting again.
Ella Grill – BirkenheadThis place is a contemporary fusion of Far East and South East Asian food. The menu has a bit of imagination and is a welcome change from the predictable offerings elsewhere. There is a lively atmosphere with well intended staff. Speciality diets are genuinely attempted to be accommodated.
Host – Liverpool City CentreThe Ying Wah has been our family favourite restaurant for almost 20 years! Never had a bad meal there, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Visit before 7.30 for reasonable family banquets (prepare to ask for leftovers!) And if any of you party don't fancy Chinese, they do fabulous steak!
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonThe food was gorgeous and the service was lovely
Greek Taverna – WaterlooThis is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in Liverpool by a mile. It is the only restaurant I have been to in Liverpool where the menu reminds me of being back in India. The food is cooked beautifully, service is excellent with very helpful staff and the setting is very pleasant.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWe found this restaurant by luck and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a hidden gem. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We couldn't say enough good things about this place. Try-it you won't be disappointed. We loved this restaurant.
Akshaya – Liverpool City CentreI would never ever recommend this takeaway, sorry restaurant to anybody in a million years. I am actually bemused at the fact that there are good reviews written here on this website and was extremely surprised that the place was actually busy. Beside from it looking like a takeaway with waiters dressed in jeans and trainers the food was despicable. We ordered a hot and cold starter to share as it was recommended by the waiter. Cold starter was four dips and some lettuce. RIDICULOUS!!! the hot starter, baring in mind to share was 1 calmarie, 2 chorizo sausages, 1 tomato, 1 meatball, 1 tiny piece of gammon which wasn't cooked properly and 1 bit of chicken. Both of these starters cost £6.90 each. I wouldn't have paid a pound for them. For the main meal I ordered a chicken kebab with boiled rice and Diane sauce, and I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw what I had been given. 2 chicken breasts on a barm cake, Packet rice and the Diane sauce had a whole onion sitting in it. My boyfriend ordered sea bass which looked half decent as where his chips. But he got veg with his, which was tinned carrots. Both of us left nearly all of our food as we felt physically sick just thinking about it. We got a voucher for this restaurant which is why we went. And why we had never seen the place before. We will definitely think twice before doing this again as this cost us a whole evening, and money that could have been spent else where. Oh and by the way, I am not some middle age woman who likes fancy restaurants. I'm a 21 year old girl who has just finished University.
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West DerbyI recently went down to Liverpool to watch a football match and through recommendation from my hotel, me and a group of friend found ourselves eating at Akshaya and thoroughly enjoyed the food, I would recommend the chicken briyani. The service was excellent and the waiters were friendly.
