Been many times, good atmosphere, good food (I do find the menu choice a bit limited after a while), slow service because limited staff.

The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreBeen twice. You have to go up and order, no table numbers, limited staff, slow service. The burger is very good though. There are often two for one on offer, just print the voucher.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen – Liverpool City Centrebrilliant food, so fresh! Attentive staff, will go back again!
Etsu – Liverpool City Centrecheap and good food. good atmosphere, friendly staff. Check the bills cos they do sometimes get it wrong.
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreI have dined here three times within the last year or so. The staff are fairly pleasant and the place is modern and with a quiet clientele. We had two courses each and a bottle of house wine which came to £70 - it seems Greek food doesn't come cheap on Allerton Road. The side portions could be bigger.
Lefteris Greek Taverna – Mossley HillMy wife and I celebrated her birthday last Tuesday and dined at the Lefteris. We have been away for a while but think the new decor is great and the food as usual superb. The waitress looked after us very well and the price we paid at the end of the evening was very reasonable. I would recommend the Lefteris to anyone. Thanks for a lovely evening. John & Sally McAuley.
Lefteris Greek Taverna – Mossley HillDo not eat here, food awful as is the staff hardly surprising after you have met the manger who was rude and unhelpful.
Weld Blundell Arms – SouthportThis is by far my favourite restaurant in the world! I love their special bbq ribs, home fries and duck rolls for starters. Gorgeous, oh and garlic and cheese bagels mmmmm! Staff always fabulous, I've been going to this restaurant for years, you really need to go!!! x
Astoria – West Kirbyjust had a nice meal with wife and kids paid about £35 FOR THE 4 OF US WILL GO BACK PAUL D
Nando’s – SouthportFeb 2009 After reading several favourable reviews on The London Carriage Works restaurant, Liverpool we decided to book a table. Unfortunately our experience was not as pleasant as the many reviews, mostly over a year old; it seems that the place has gone downhill. When booking we asked for a table at 9pm, they informed us that they did not have a table available until 9:30, but if we came in at 9 and sat at the bar they would probably be able to seat us earlier. This was not a problem as the bar area looked lovely in the photos so we came in shortly after 9, informed the waitress of our arrival and sat in the bar area, by 9:45 we still hadn’t been shown to our table, upon asking when our table would be ready the young waitress showed us to a table that looked like it had been ready for quite a while, had they forgotten us? Our coats were not taken as you would have expected from a restaurant of this class, we had to walk across the room and hang them up ourselves on the coat stand. We looked at the menu, ordered our food and asked for a wine list which we would have expected to be given at the same time as the menu. Our starters arrived, but still no wine list, we had to ask for it again. The waiter serving our starters had not been informed who was having what and had to ask us, I found this very unprofessional. The wine list was handed to my husband while he was in the middle of eating his soup causing him to spill some. We ordered the wine which didn’t arrive until just before our mains were served, once again the waiter had to ask who was having what. While we were eating our meals the waiter was cleaning the tables near us with smelly disinfectant spray, not creating a pleasant environment to enjoy our meals in. The restaurant and bar area are very modern with a lot of glass and lighting effects, the tables do not have tablecloths and are far too close together, it’s not cosy and the overall atmosphere is not dissimilar to a busy pizza express/beef eater type restaurant. The food was better than average, nicely laid out but the portions were very small. Overall I was very disappointed in the very poor service and lack of experience from the extremely young staff. For what is an expensive restaurant (£50 a head) I expect more and will not be returning.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreWe have been eating at this restaurant for at least 10 years, Steve and his marvellous staff are both welcoming and faultless. Every meal is fresh and tasty. Everywhere is spotless. The Capitol Restaurant is the only place we take friends family and business associates to eat, as we know there will never be anything but an impressive first class meal every time.
Capitol Chinese Restaurant – BirkenheadMy friend Jackie and I try to get to the Left Bank every four to five weeks, as we have done for the last few years, and we love it as much now as we did when we first went. Hakan, Guven and the staff always make you feel special, and the food is never a disappointment, it's the only restaurant that we look forward to going to as we find others a let down as we always compare them to the Left Bank. Unlike other restaurants their standards have never changed over the years, superb value for money. Keep up the good work.
Left Bank – FormbyI couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly! I'd definitely say that this is THE best Indian restaurant in Liverpool bar none. The food is amazing with a brilliant array of food. The take-away service is great, your food is ready within 20 minutes and at a great price. If your looking for a night in with a bootle of Tiger and a curry, then this is the place for you.....
Red Fort – Aigburthi live in southport and have eaten in them all, warehouse braz and the vincent hotel and Augerge, and let me tell you that this is hands down the very very best restaurant probably in the whole southport and indeed Lancashire . The atmosphere is very intimate because its a small venue. but heavens above the food is dazzling. i mean really good, i would put it on par with le manoir aux quiat seasons. an example of this is the fish selection... and its not that expensive compared to the other top flight eateries.. a must try for foodies who dont want there wallet burned in the process
Botanic Bistro – Southportthe quarter is in a great location just off hope street with free wifi great cakes and amazing food. I used to spend alot of time there but it has gone alot of changes over the last few months, the price of a cappucino is extortion, also, pizzas excluded, the portion sizes are getting lot smaller, i brought a friend here a few days ago after raving about it to her and the rissotto was tiny but 9.95, i was told that the place was owned by the amazing 60 hope street and maybe the chef should work there as they serve little food for alot of money. there is also another restaurant next door to the quarter now, which is the same owner, maybe the smaller portions are to pay for that place. the food here tastes great but the portions need to be re-addressed,shame. Also the staff here look overworked and not very happy, beware of the blonde foreign girl who mostly works the till she has a stare that could turn your well expensive, but tasty latte, sour. Thought of the day. Keep coffee at a real price, Look at the portion size Get happy/make happy staff. Get it back to the way it used to be. Don't open anymore restaurants for a while.
The Quarter – Liverpool City Centrethis is my favourite place to eat in liverpool i would advise going later in the evening to catch the seafood dishes.they now also do refillable soft drinks which is great as the cost of drinks is often a hidden cost when going to all you can eat venues.very good value for money, fantastic food.you couldn't ask for friendlier staff, especially Gin he is a star.
Yums Oriental Buffet – Liverpool City CentreBeen going to this Restaurant for almost 3 years, The Service is perfect, very friendly staff and the food is amazing. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice chinese meal.
