Britannia Inn – Liverpool City Centre7th Feb 2009-evening menu. Fab. Lovely atmosphere, authentic Portuguese tapas. Great to be able to take own wine, keeps the food bill down, not that the prices here require it!! Staff lovely and attentive and food obviously freshly cooked. The carrot cake is to die for!! Can't wait to try the day time cafe cuisine.
Cafe Porto – Liverpool City Centrebest drinks staff and atmosphere on the wirral without a doubt. and the food is better quality than the majority of 'restaurants' around as well! bohemian chic at its best! proper cocktails!
Oxton Bar and Kitchen – Oxtonwent there last heard lots about it sorry not impressed food was ok service hmhmhm cant say i would recommend
Spire – Wavertreehave enjoyed previous experiences at this restaurant i was eager to return. for starters i had the smoked salmon, good portion well presented, main was free range chicken, extremely good portion (half a chicken) cooked to perfection but none of the accomplishments were anything to write home about. Dessert was bread and butter pudding with marmalade ice-cream which I didn't enjoy and left. Quite an average meal really which did disappoint me
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreWent to La Tasca and being Tapas virgins opted for the set meat selection. All the dishes were fabulous and we will defo be eating here again. Service was very good and the staff friendly and attentive.
La Tasca – Liverpool City Centreonce i had seafood puttu kothu taste was good ,next time had dinner with my family non vegthali was good but bit spicy.. service was good.. happy , praba and karuna
Akshaya – Liverpool City CentreThe dim sum is nice, the shallow fried dumplings, har gau and prawn siu mai are definitely recommended. One thing though, there is a rude waiter working there, don't know his name but he is a Chinese(kinda short and with glasses).I would have fire him if I'm the person in charge, his attitude just doesn't suit the service industry, not humble, and very rude.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreMy favourite Indian restaurant (or just fave restaurant!) in Liverpool, and I've tried them all many times. Excellent, tasty, wholesome, unpretentious food every single time. Very very cheap too, their prices have been the same for about 8 or 9 years I reckon, amazing given its location. Friendly staff, cozy private booths, good drink selection, cheap takeaway service. The best in Liverpool!
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food and lovely, relaxing atmosphere. We have known the owner for years, loved his first restaurant but this is better. We are always made to feel extremely welcome. Lou and Dom.
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreHave eaten at Neighbourhood several times lunch and dinner - excellent food, well served in cosy surroundings. Would recommend.
Neighbourhood – ChildwallI ate here with friends last weekend for my birthday and had a really lovely time. It was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was delicious. I had sea bass which was cooked to perfection. The service was very good too. I will definitely book to eat here again.
The Fat Italian – CrosbyGreat little restaurant, service was great for such a small cute place. Recommend booking as by half8pm the place was packed out with people waiting for tables aswell. For 2 people for 3 courses it was £70 with wine and nibbles too. All in all good value and duck was beautiful. House red was great too. Recommended
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreHad our wedding here last year venue& service absolutely first class would recommend it to anyone
Rueters – SouthportWe went to Osqa on Tuesday night 27/1/2009 and had the early evening special; ham hock terrine starter with roast lamb main course and it was fab. The service was great, not intrusive, but attentive, food was lovely and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal at an exceptionally reasonable price.
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreBeen to the Punch Bowl quite a few times recently and the food was every time superb. The surroundings are warm and cosy, with a family feeling. Children are more than welcome and for a change the childrens' menu was not the typical "nuggets and chips" but the likes of real chicken and seabass. Service is always quick and pleasant. Has become the family favourite for a proper Sunday Lunch!
Punch Bowl – WaterlooI have been going to this restaurant since I was 15 I'm almost 25 now so that's a long time the service is still incredible as are the ever welcoming staff I never feel rushed and the food is always to a beautiful standard I would say that it is THE best restaurant in Liverpool.
Jumbo City – Liverpool City CentreWhen spire opened the press review was not favourable so I have always avoided booking but we decided to give it a try after a friends recommendation.I can only say that we have missed out for the last couple of years the food was absolutely delicious and the service was first class cant wait to go again.
