My god, the food was disgusting, the service was creepy - why is it still open?

Rueters – SouthportI really enjoyed my lunch here. A gorgeous soup and a sarnie served with a smile and a chat.
Di Silvas Delicatessen – SouthportFantastic restaurant, great food, lovely atmosphere. Will visit again very soon.
The Fat Italian – CrosbyAbsolutely superb!! No words can describe how nice this restaurant is. The staff are excellent, great to take the kids, and food is amazing. I go almost once a fortnight and have tried almost everything, which is all out of this world. The king prawns in white wine sauce are to die for mmmmmmmmm!
Greek Taverna – WaterlooTapas Tapas is about the best place to eat we know. We eat here every couple of weeks and each time remark how much we enjoyed the food. It is a great looking , friendly place. Staff are attentive, food is excellent, nice choice of wine and the price is reasonable too.
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooWe have been to Ho Lee Chows a lot since it was taken over and I can't say enough positive things about the restaurant. It is lovely inside and has a really welcoming, relaxed atmosphere - the staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The food is gorgeous - I would definitely recommend having a banquet. It's such good value for money and the range of courses on the menu is great. Don't miss the cripsy duck, chicken satay, chilli and garlic beef and the prawn toast - in fact don't miss any of it it's so tasty. There's also a lot of choice for vegetarians which is great as some of our friends are vegetarians. Looking forward to going back!
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportTony's is a lovely local italian restaurant where you're always guaranteed a warm welcome and fantastic food! I've never tasted better italian cuisine and that's after sampling all the other italian restaurants in Southport.... and you simply cannot beat their garlic bread! If you want somewhere that is reasonably priced with delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere then you simply cannot beat this restaurant!
Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria – Southportwe went to OSQA on mothers day 22nd march 2009 as a party of 11.as anticipated we knew it would be busy even though we had booked.we had over an hours wait before we even ordered any food and had to ask for menus after we were seated because the waiter had forgot about us.it was worth the wait because the food was absolutely fab and very generous portions, even the childrens meal.a great atmosphere lovely staff and we even had the bill reduced due to our lengthy wait.cant wait to go again for a lovely roast dinner.
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreWhat a shame, the Panoramic has the potential to be a fabulous dining experience however........ A group of four of us dined at lunchtime on the 21st March for a Mothers day treat. What we hadn't forecasted was the fog making it impossible to see anything from the large windows all round the restaurant, although it was possible to imagine what a wonderful vista would have been savoured on a clear day! The staff were reserved , possibly as surprised as most of the diners at the inclement conditions, who knows? Wine list was comprehensive with prices and taste to suit everyone. The starter was a fish terrine of scallops, cod and salmon, this watery grave was tepid and raw . Well at least we could have had a glass of wine , umm , not quite, the wine being placed out of our reach. The wait wasnt excessively long before a waitress gave the group the 'permission', to have a refill. The main was chicken, carved at the table, well I think it was chicken, the portion not visible to the naked eye, Im sure I saw pink flesh. The portion possibly looked smaller than it actually was due to the discus size of the plates. On the large plate sat what probably constituted three leaves from a baby gem, with a minute portion of delicious mashed potato and balsamic vinegar, I couldn't believe 'that was it' however after a polite pause and the assistance of a magnifying glass I realised I wasn't getting anymore food. Dessert was a blackberry cheescake which was delicious, small but perfectly formed.... We then retired to savour cocktails ,which although pricey were soooo good The Panoramic will not survive on its great views(didnt see them)alone. The bill for four lunches, one bottle of wine , three cocktails came to nearly £150, which was pricey given the quality and amount . We had to return home and order a take away which was hot, plentiful and tasted wonderful. The diners initially maybe like the Liverpool weather caught up in the fog, however when the novelty ,like the fog lifts it will reveal a rather overpriced very mediocre experience. If your trying to lose a few pounds either physically or monetary the Panoramic certainly wont disappoint. The Panoramic have all the right environmental factors that should make this a fabulous experience, at present it is in fact a rather plush observational tower. Panoramic please take off the rose tinted glasses and see further than through your very large windows .

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreSat 21st March 2009 Crap over priced bland food with arrogant unfriendly clumsy staff.Small portions, I mean small for a main dish and fish not cooked properly. Uncomfortable chairs........... Wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend despite the great views. There's plenty of better places to eat. Spent £160 , came home and had to order a take-away as we were still hungry.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreMy wife ,son and I dined at the Palace Balti on Saturday 21st .We live in Reading in Berkshire and we impressed by the reasonable prices of the food ,the quality and size of portions. The choice of food was good. Plus I thought the drinks prices were very fair.
Palace Balti Tandoori – St.Helenslongest established Chinese restaurant on the wirral. est 1962 Friendly Family run business for the last 35 years. Excellent food cooked to your requirements, everything is possible all you have to do is ask.
New Sunrise Restaurant – BirkenheadWent to the Gulshan on Friday 20th March2009, waited a long time for the starters, they were cold when they arrived. Service was awful, the food was ok, but only just. This was our 1st and last visit to the Gulshan.
Gulshan – AigburthMy girlfriend and I went to the wheatsheaf after stopping and asking a local man where was a good place for a Sunday roast. Although fully booked, the staff were friendly and told us they could accommodate us in an hour and were also helpful when it came to sorting out my vegetarian girlfriend. The food was lovely, we had a delicious home made soup, a roast and a homemade apple and blackcurrant pie which was superb. The converted cowshed makes a great place to eat, with a warm friendly atmosphere, and the meal was delicious high quality fare, which, at £13.95 for 3 courses was great value. We're definitely going again!!
The Wheatsheaf Inn and Cowshed Restaurant – HeswallNever been because menu appalling for vegetarians.
