The Monro – Liverpool City Centrevery expensive, quality of food on par with macdonalds, a place that kids will enjoy but it isnt the classiest of restaurants, i felt very rush and the food was barely warm. places such as the tavern other establishments on Allerton Road would be a better choice for overal value, service and food. Avoid if possible.
Damons – Mossley HillThis Restaurant Iz Just FFFiiittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt x Like the waiters x Jay n Pay x Luv Nicolas x Best Restaurant In L-Pool Babby x O Ye An I Agree Wit Ya Elle Girl x hehe x Luv Me xxxxxx
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooOn Saturday my girlfriend and I went back to Alma de Cuba a year after we met there. We had heard that the food was excellent, and we weren't disappointed. Excellent was an understatement! The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere and surroundings fitted the special occasion perfectly, and we both agreed it is the best food we have had out. Ever! See you next year!
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreOsqa is a beautifully appointed restaurant. The food is fabulous and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere (and the inclusion of a pianist) makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable evening!
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreLondon prices in Birkenhead, someone is making a killing!!! Draught Heineken and San Miguel yuk, I've tasted better siphoning petrol.
Oxton Bar and Kitchen – OxtonHad a meal here shortly after it opened and can't rate it highly enough. The food was excellent and the and staff in there very professional and welcoming. They decor gives it an air of sophistication aided somewhat by the fantastic cocktail list. Have been back a few times since for tapas and coffees and it has yet to disappoint
Hilltop – West KirbyWould not recommend. Any place that has egg mayonnaise on the menu and serves your steak with tinned peas and carrots should be avoided. The decor is so dated its like a labour club inside. There are many better places to eat in St Helens. I think this place has had its day.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensThe Colliers Arms is a fantastic little pub just outside of St Helens. The food at the Colliers is excellent. The menu is extensive and the special board has something different everytime you visit from succulent steaks to swordfish there really is something for everyone. The atmosphere is casual and i would rate the food as being good honest, well cooked British food which would give any top restaurant a run for its money at a fraction of the price. Thoroughly recommended.
Colliers Arms – St.HelensWe arrived earlier than the booking & were sat on a bench next to the "bar" while they made the table ready. No offer of a drink while we waited for 20 mins, which I thought was poor. Ambience was fine until the music from the club downstairs started, around 9pm (sat) Needless to say, it was obtrusive. Waiting staff were friendly & happy to share a joke. The food wasnt awful, but was bland & generally slightly over or undercooked depending on the dish. Its fair to say we eat better quality meals at home... Wines were fine, beer range was poor, serving only my 3 most hated beer brands, from bottles only - stella, bud or kronenberg. On the plus-side, it wasnt expensive at about twenty quid per head for 2 courses & drinks. All in all, difficult to recommend unless like us you can't get a late booking anywhere else.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreJAY N PAY R PROPER GURJUSSS AN THE FOOD IS AS FIT AS THEM. LUV YAZ LADS XXXXXXXXX

Nicola’s Ristorante – Waterlooloved it, returning for Christmas.
Savina – Liverpool City CentreWow - what a menu, what a place! The menu is so innovative and so varied, it really is a difficulty to chose only a few things to eat. It won't get any easier around Christmas either as I've just seen the Festive Season menu and I could eat all of it. Me and a group of friends enjoyed a banquet at Mayur. We were a fairly mixed bunch of tastes, those that love curry, those that don't and me, who can't eat nuts. We were all well catered for and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The decor of Mayur is also amazing and complements the stunning menu. I would highly recommend Mayur for a fantastic dining experience.
Mayur – Liverpool City CentreWent a few weeks ago with our rugby team, all had the Mezes, wow what value for about 15 courses or more( lost count), bit but plenty of everything, dips, bread, chicken, prawns, pork, and lamb, plenty of beer and a cracking good night, staff are excellent food was lovely, spicy tender and everyone agreed to go again for another of our gastro nights out
Greek Taverna – WaterlooA very nice place, good ambiance and splendid varied menu particularly the fish section.Had Clam chowder ( best I have had this side of USA) and Steak Rossini which was really nice, medium rare as requested well cooked and presented and extremely tasty, the onion rings were freshly done and Irish coffee hot and powerful.A very good meal all in all, not the cheapest place but good value for money will go again !
Forge Brasserie – SouthportMy complements to the staff and especially Sarah. We were made to feel welcome and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be visiting again soon!
Allerton Hall – WooltonI visited this restaurant last year and have been planning to go back ever since. I took my boyfriend there as a birthday surprise. We visited Liverpool for 4 days and nights from Ireland and I had spent a very long time researching which restaurant would be the best to bring someone as a birthday present. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. It is the best restaurant I have eaten in a number of years. The service is excellent and the ambiance is the best you ill get. As for the food, that speaks for itself. This restaurant is priced as it should be for a top restaurant. You will not be disappointed by this beautiful place.
