Only a mile away from home, no need to travel any further. superb food, friendly helpful staff, not the cheapest but certainly one of the best. Worth ordering takeaway from here also, rather than the "chippy" !

New Orchid Garden – West DerbyBright, welcoming with friendly staff. good choice of all courses. we visited on friday evening, good value at £8.95 for 2 courses. Food delicious & well cooked. definitely recommend & visit again.
Left Bank – FormbyThis deli is an undiscovered wonder. The food wonderful, as was the service. We went for our lunch today and will deffo be going again next weekend. Lunch was sausage, colcannon with onion gravy for myself and a po'boy for my partner who also could not resist one of the deserts, croissant bread and butter pudding with custard. All the food was too the highest standard. Even though this restaurant is slightly off the main part of the city, it steadily filled up with people. It was like they all knew the secret we had just found out.
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreMe and my mum love coming here, they have special offers on beofre 6.30 week days - 3 courses 16.95 and a bottle of wine for two!! We try to go at least once a month, you can't beat the price, the staff are friendly, some reviews say you don't get much on your plate, but if you get the 3 course offer I find its just enough to fill you. Definitely worth a try!! A*****
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreWe have been to the Chung Ku three times over a two year period and each time we have been disappointed. The service we have received is exemplary and cannot be faulted. But the food Chung Ku serves is simply overrated, the last occasion we were served cold boiled rice, the meals were either too salty or too sweet and some of our soups were lukewarm. The Chung Ku is inconsistent at best and at times very poor. Marks for service - 10/10 Marks for quality of food served - 5/10
Chung Ku – Liverpool City Centretruly awful pub. overpriced (£2.67p!!) crap ale served in plastic "glasses" for your pleasure as you sit and enjoy the river views. food driven "family pub" serving the usual overpriced muck. disgraceful. the toilets stank too. next time you want to chill by the river, bring your own picnic and be blown away by the spectacular sunset.
Britannia Inn – Liverpool City CentreOn phoning to book a table at OSQA I was told the 3 course early bird was £10.95 and it was served until 8.00pm. On our arrival we found it cost £14.95 and finished at 7.00pm! Lucky enough we arrived to eat before 7.00pm. My friend and I enjoyed our night out the atmosphere was brilliant, the panio entertainment was very good. The food was hot, well presented and very tasty, but I did think the portions were very small. Beware veg is extra and at £3.50 for a small bowl... well bit overpriced! But all that said it is a great restaurant and a lovely location and would recommend it.
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreTook my son to Osqa for dinner tonight. Great atmosphere and lovely food. Will definitely return
OSQA – Liverpool City CentreOne of the nicest places I have been for a while. A bellini at the bar whilst you are waiting (£7.10) or a glass of pink champagne. Nice touch to have a card to run up a bar bill to add to your food bill. Our party had steaks (delicious), salmon fish cakes (big hit with us), a choice of fries or proper chips and some excellent mash. The service was prompt but not intrusive, the atmosphere was really buzzing and the private dining rooms look just the place for a party! As you can tell by now, it's a hit with me.
Restaurant Bar and Grill – Liverpool City CentreMy most visited indian Restaurant,I am a chef and a very fussy eater, i try and visit this restaurant at least once a month.Food is always fresh and tasty and service is impeccable and friendly.a wide selection of dishes and chef recommendations, All the classics and some specials make me return time and time again.I have never eaten in one restaurant so many times (about 30), even the best restaurants ive been to (or worked in ) i have never returned more than twice, always finding fault with something.I highly recommend this restaurantfor quality originality and price.they even do an early evening special during the week 3 courses and a side for under a tenner.
Tandoori Mahal Restaurant – WallaseyI use to go to Princess Garden, the food was ok. I went on Monday 2nd June and it was under new management and the name was changed to 'China Garden'. They had a new menu and I was told they had a new more experienced chef. I ordered a few starters, and the fillet steak rolls was soooo.... nice and tasty!!! the crispy chilli beef was very good too. The food now is definitely tastier and it's reasonably priced. I will definitely go again, well worth a try!
China Garden – AintreeMy sister lives nearby so she recommended it to my partner and I, we have been going ever since - as have our parents and grandparents! Great food, reasonable pricing and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome in a family atmosphere - recommend it.
Khalisa – ChildwallLiving locally, I have been to marantos many times, the service is great the waiters are friendly, though the quality of food has deteriorated recently. Disappointing! I do hope they read their reviews and take note.
Maranto’s Restaurant – AigburthFood is mostly deep fried, nothing healthy not even the salad is drenched in dressing. Not much meat on ribs. It is over priced and the food is poor.
Damons – Mossley HillThe food simply does not compare with the service we received. The service was excellent but the food was extremely disappointing. The boiled rice was cold, roasted meats hard and chewy, sweetcorn soup lukewarm and the rest of our meals were either too salty or too sweet. The Chung Ku is vastly overrated and there will be no more visits from our party of ten. We wanted to complain but decided not to cause a scene. It may have been an off day for their chefs but we have dine in the Chung Ku three times and the food has been mediocre at best and for our last visit was downright appalling.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreWe went on our way home from the opening of Liverpool 1, it was good food, with nice vegetarian options, and although it wasn't the right night for the regular promotion it was still good value, and we will be going on a Wednesday for the £12.95 with wine deal. Very pleased with this place.A good find!
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreMe my wife and my 2 son's enjoyed a wonderful evening at Pioneer last thursday. I would have to say the pork is outstanding and all the meals were very filling. We was served by 2 young ladys who are obviously trainned to a very high standard. Not only polite but always there to ensure you were having the best time you possibly could. The younger one of the two really provided 'Top Service'.
Pioneer Bar and Brasserie – CrosbyExcellent food from a great chef. My particular fav is Minted Lamb Burger. Fish is really good and the Onion Rings are perfectly cooked.
