Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a Sunday morning, The food is amazing, and you can spend a lazy morning reading the papers without being rushed!
Tavern Co – WavertreeWe go here on a regular basis, can't speak highly enough of the place... We've tried most of the Indian restaurants in Liverpool City Centre & without doubt this is the best one. The chef is excellent, the service is excellent, the price is right (& even better if you can get your hands on an NUS card). The regular custom comments speak volumes - what more needs to be said - get down there & order yourself a chicken makhonwalla!
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreThe restaurant offers a very friendly service, although some dishes are rather expensive, there is plenty of choice to appeal to most. It is well worth the visit!
New Orchid Garden – West DerbyWhat lovely attentive and funny staff. Food was really excellent and a great price as well. Will definitely go back again and will not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant.
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreFab food, fab staff, fab atmosphere great night, what more could we say, we're going back next week!!
The Barking Frog – SouthportBreakfast for under £4.00 with tea or coffee. Open until 11pm at night. Very fast service for fully home cooked food. Arab style food not normally available in Lpool, suitable for vegi's. Restaurant very popular with students and suitable a quickcheap bight before the cinema. NOTE: Kimos moved to new premises nextdoor (on Mount Pleasant) in Dec 2006.
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreI visited Piccolino's last night(15/12/06). The quality of food was faultless, i had the carpaccio to start and the mushroom rissotto to follow. Very authentic and fresh flavours coming out of the kitchen, i genuinely recommend the swordfish(looks fantastic). Enjoy
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreGreat to find a restaurant that serves good traditional Italian food at a very reasonable price. I get sick of being overcharged for Italian bog standard food, and have found a gem in Southport - try it, you won't be disappointed.
Gusto Trattoria – SouthportI have eaten at Bistro Pierre before but never here and it was not disappointing, the food was lovely and the price is just shocking for what you get!! I went with my family who had come to visit and my boyfriend and it was a lovely meal helped along with nice wine and a comfortable atmosphere. Great food, great price.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreThere is no better value for money Chinese restaurant in the North of England
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonThis is the best Indian restaurant in liverpool bar none! Everything on the menu is fantastic, i have never eaten anything i didnt enjoy in here. It is great value for money... you cant argue with students. The staff are very friendly and always attentive, even when the restaurant is packed. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you love Indian food, you will love it!!
Royal Tandoori Restaurant – Wavertreethis is one of the best places i have ever eaten in highly recommended
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreI have visited several times and enjoyed the food every single time. We have also visited as party bookings and everybody always comments how good the food is.
Lalqila Restaurant – BootleI would like to say how gobsmacked i was at the impressive service at Damons.. I Ate there for the first time on saturday night with my family (5 of Us). i Live in the area and had never been in. i am glad i did As we Arrive we were greeted in a way which i had never been greeted before, it was so nice to see somebody with such a great smile welcoming us to a restaurant, we were told there would be a small wait for a table which was not a problem as i could see it was really really busy. after soaking up the atmosphere in bar area for 15 mins, we were directed to our table. here the service was second to none, it could not be faulted in any way, i had the ribs/Steak to eat. WOW!! they were amazing. the staff worked non-stop and went to every effort to make us feel welcome. The manager even came over and asked if everything was ok and sat down and had a pleasant chat with us. this is the first time any manager has had the time to go around and talk to the guests, i was over the moon and will be returning thanks to the manager Mike/ receptionist Hazel / Waiter Mykel and Great food. well done!!
Damons – Mossley HillVisited Sapporo for the first time this weekend with family. I cant fault the staff, despite it being a very busy December night, Our large group was well served. We chose the Emperor banquette which delighted the taste buds. Each dish was distinct in flavour presentation. The entertainment is a good laugh and added to the festivities. The price including wine was very reasonable. The only down side was the toilets, they could not cope with the number of diners and got very messy towards the end of the evening. Everyone had a great time, it was a really different experience. One we will definitely repeat.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreExcellent! We had Sunday lunch at The Monro recently. We had 3 courses each. I started with the grilled goats cheese, which was very tasty, though lacking in a sauce/ dressing to counter balance the creamy cheese. My husbands smoked trout on the other hand was superb with the right balance of flavours. Our traditional Sunday lunch main course didn't disappoint. Plenty of lamb and beef with fresh veg. Lots of crispy potatoes to mop up the real gravy and one of the tastiest Yorkshire puddings we've had. We finished with chocolate cake and lemon pie, both hit the spot. All was washed down with a fab bottle of house red. The price was fair and service pleasant and attentive. I would highly recommend the Monro. Good honest food at the right price in cosy surrounding.
