My wife & I dont go as often as we'd like, we have never been disappointed yet,
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreThe Dutch chef is located in central position in main street. the cafe is on two levels. upstairs has good window seats overlooking lord street. the food is freshly made and of superb quality served by cheery folk. prices are great for what you get. the retail bakery shop is at the entrance. only criticism: toilets need overhauled, managers often overlook this aspect but customers/visitors don?!!
Monument Cafe – Southportthanks for a great 50th food ,wine and staff made it special ..........wow.
Spire – WavertreePollards Inn situated in Willaston in Cheshire hs been serving fine food since the 1980s, my wife and I had the pleasure to eat recently and would recommend this establishment to romantics and families alike.
The Pollards Inn – HeswallVisited the Retsina a couple of times now and was very impressed with the food and service. Excellent for a local restaurant and value for money.
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West DerbyI brought the family here on a Friday night, we really enjoyed it. The room was packed which always bodes well The starters of soup all round went down really well especially the hot and sour (I got to eat 2 bowls:) We shared a couple of bottles of wine that were fine and the service is attentive but a little too much from the do you want another drink? school of thought. Saying that we were enjoying it regardless, the mains were an odd mix as they all cam on sizzlers which i haven? seen in a Thai before mine was nice enough.
Siam Garden – WavertreeReally liked this restaurant food was lovely and people who worked there quality recommend this restaurant
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooYums is excellent value for money, good selection of food . it is very clean and hygienic. Stuff are friendly and attentive. It has an ideal location for the shopper or customers going to the cinema or theatre.

La Vina – Liverpool City CentreExcellent food, best I've had outside Hong Kong (where I'm from). Has a good range of traditional Chinese food unlike most places that think Chop Suey is foreign (but Jumbo probably serve it aswell, good range).. Recommend for everyone

Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreI read about this place on Sugarvine, I was looking for a nice Italian restaurant to take my boyfriend to on his birthday. I booked for 7 and we were seated on arrival, no waiting around, we order our food and it arrived with 15 mins! I was shocked at the speed of the service. Our waiter was pleasant and didn't bother us too much! The Pizza oven in the form of a head adds to the feel of the place, very atmospheric, the food was good and very reasonably priced, I will be going back soon!
