Great pub with a nice selection of keg bitters. Food is very good as well as the ambience. It was my "local" while in Liverpool.

Great pub with a nice selection of keg bitters. Food is very good as well as the ambience. It was my "local" while in Liverpool.
Tess Riley’s – Liverpool City CentreThe service was perfect to none. The waiters and waitress make sure you welcomed the minute you are in there. Spacious and not rushed. Need to book on weekends as i was advised.
Beijing Chinese Restaurant – PrescotI love it here it is by far one of my best places to eat, I have dined here quite a few times with friends and family and even a candle lit dinner for two. each time I have really enjoyed it. The food is gorgeous and the staff very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone..
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreWe've had the pleasure of eating at Zorba's many times over the last 15 years, it's got to be our most favourite restaurant of all times. The food is always excellent, the service is outstanding and you can't beat the atmosphere. Mike and Louisa are wonderful hosts and Tony and staff are fab!
Zorbas – Liverpool City CentreFriends were coming up for the weekend and I wanted to take them out for two nights to remember. Friday was the night that I decided that Pierre's was the place to be. They had a 3 hour journey so I wanted somewhere that was relaxing but great quality food. Having eaten at Pierre's more times than my waistline wants to be reminded, I knew that the place would not disappoint. The starters were as divine as they were diverse. Fresh, tasty and quality... There was sufficient time to allow the starters to digest prior to the main event. All four of us had steak and none were disappointing, all cooked to our liking and great cuts of meat. The veg were served up in the standard iron pan (great way of keeping them warm during the meal. The wine was flowing well, and it wont break the bank, great choice of red and white. The only thing that was a surprise is that every seat in the house wasn't taken. Great place keep up the highest of standards.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreVery nice simple Italian food consisting of either pasta or pizza dishes for the main course, quite small inside kind of intimate nice and relaxed. Friendly service and very good value for money.
Gusto Trattoria – SouthportThe Blue Anchor has the best food I have ever eaten in a pub. I popped in for a meal one day and have now eaten nearly everything on the menu and not been disappointed. The regular menu is better than some restaurants and the specials are nothing you would expect in a pub. I regularly eat out and I now go to the Blue Anchor at least 1 time a week. The portions are absolutely huge, the service is great (they dont disturb you while you are eating) the price is cheap and the garden in the back is one of the biggest I have ever seen. I would eat here before a lot of restaurants. PS I dont live in liverpool but I would happily eat every meal in this pub. VERY recommended
Blue Anchor Inn – AintreeIn contrast to other reviews on food quality, I thought my Chicken Rogan Josh purchased on Sat. Feb 24th was rather mediocre. The meal was rather bland and lacking in spice. (tasted mild rather than medium spice). However, I was happy enough with the service, and thought the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough.
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportFantastic! A quick meal before a night out with the lads The staff managed to cope with such a big party with excellent service, The crispy chilli beef is to die for have a wide range of drinks and a sexy waitress too! what more could you ask for on a night out?
Jade Garden – HoylakeWe recently moved into Liverpool City Centre and this has become our local. At one point we were actually going there about 3 times a week! The food is so tasty and so cheap. Like someone else said there is just so much choice, its always so hard deciding what your going to have. Definitely my favourite place to eat in Liverpool.
Tokyou – Liverpool City Centrequality was the order of the day at the tea rooms. excellent service, superb afternoon tea, and silver tea pots. very relaxing and a gem of a find.
Westminster Tea Rooms – SouthportIl Forno is by far the best Italian restaurant in Liverpool. The service is excellent. The Italian dishes are all first class. The menu is varied and offers some non-Italian alternatives. The steaks are tender and are cooked exactly to your own personal liking. The desserts here are the best I have ever had. Il Forno is a restaurant you must visit.
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreAte here last night and it was a real joy. The menu changes daily so any specific recommendations may not stand but I would like to say that I would eat the orange salsa with anything!! The service was prompt and very friendly. The food is outstanding and I look forward to going back again soon. Very highly recommended.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreEst Est Est has an excellent location. The food and service here are very good. Unfortunately the restaurant does get busy so if you have not booked a table, be prepared to wait. I feel that they have tried to squeeze in as many tables as possible into some areas of the restaurant which means that some tables are EXTREMELY close to each other. Est Est Est is a very good restaurant but I feel there are better alternatives.
Gusto – Liverpool City CentreI regularly visit the Bakers Dozen due to the great tasting food and amazingly cheap prices! The atmosphere is also very good for both adults and children! Staff are friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend to all!
Bakers Dozen – BootleLove this restaurant, the menu hasn? changed for the 25 years ive been going!!! Good basic well cooked food.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensWe went for our Christmas meal, and have been several times since. the food is wonderful, the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. no task is too great. a warm friendly family run business, that just gets better every time we visit.
Enzo’s Piazza Italia – MoretonFantastic restaurant, food was excellent this restaurant has to be one of the best Mexicans in town! - My wife doesn? like spicy food, and I was very surprised by the menu, snapper, stakes etc, more than your average tortilla wrap! Loved it, recommend to anyone.
