First time at the Chilli Banana, will be going again soon. Food and the service were excellent. Could not be faulted, except that we had to ask twice for the bill!!

Chilli Banana – AigburthA group of us dined here last night. The refit is lovely and the food fantastic, esp hand dived scallops!! The meat fell from lamb shank no complaints whatsoever. Well done.
Owens – ChildwallAll you can eat buffet Sunday and Wednesday (includes peking duck starters and deserts) the food is amazing we have been so impressed we took a party of 25 to impress them! The staff make you feel at ease being attentive but not intrusive. The week day business lunch is great value at £2.99 for a main course.
Golden Bridge – FormbyVisited this hotel restaurant on business and I believe it is a bit of a hidden secret. The service was excellent and for a fairly small restaurant, there was a great atmosphere. I had the Chicken Devonshire, which was fabulous. It is averagely priced for a hotel too. Would definitely recommend
Devonshire House Hotel – Liverpool City Centrefirst visit to spire for lunch. really enjoyed it, food superb and only about 20 in there which created a nice atmosphere and not a hectic one, shall return for dinner been told this is even better. Paul
Spire – WavertreeI went here for a meal with my partner and we really enjoyed it the food was great and the entertainment was fab, the chefs are amazing they cook all the food right in front of you and throw things up in the air and chop it, absolutely fantastic we will definitely be going back soon with a large group of friends. Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWithout a doubt, the best and most authentic Italian restaurant on Wirral. The food is superb and Enzo and Anna are such warm and welcoming hosts. We were hoping to keep it our secret but now the secret is out...enjoy! If you love Italy you will love this restaurant.
Enzo’s Piazza Italia – Moretonhad a lovely evening with friends here, good menu choice, lovely staff and loved the banquette seating for a bit of privacy!. Its a shame more people haven't discovered it yet...it is a find to impress your friends with, especially if you get there before the deli closes (about 8 or 9 i think) as there are temptations galore. Much needed in Liverpool, hope it goes from strength to strength.
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreMy favourite restaurant in the world!! Fab fab fab!
Fuegos – SouthportHad a lovely lunch here- the British Platter for two at £12.95. Ham to die for, Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire, game pie to name a few delights. Definitely to be recommended.
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreI went on my first date with my now husband here 19 years ago and enjoyed the food so much we/ family and friends have been going ever since. We've travelled extensively and always find we compare the food in other oriental restaurants to this and the ribs and crispy duck are very hard to beat.
Lings on Kings – SouthportGreat food, great service, great atmosphere!
The Barking Frog – SouthportFantastic restaurant! My husband and i visit regularly, the atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly. We visit often for the early evening menu which is 3 courses for £8.95 - fantastic value and sensational food.
Fuegos – SouthportMy friends and I visited Fuegos last Saturday and had a fabulous night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and seem to enjoy the evening as much as their customers!! We went in for the early bird menu (3 courses £8.95) - delicious and fantastic value! Ended up staying there for hours drinking jugs of sangria and shooting tequilas. Thank you to all staff, I? sure we will be back very soon.
Fuegos – SouthportThis restaurant is lovely. the food is quality an is one of the nicest i have been to. the staff are very helpful and i look forward to returning to Nicolas.
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooTry this place for lunch - a bit off the beaten track but well worth it. Had a salad of Lancashire Black Pudding with bacon to start with and a main course of Toad in the Hole with a Wild Boar and plum sausage from Cumbria. What can I say ? This place is awesome! Great atmosphere - a real find from your tourist website.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreEVERY TWO OR THREE MONTHS I EAT AT MONROES WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING.
Monroes Restaurant – WallaseyIt was our first visit to fraiche and having eaten in Michelin starred restaurants before I was very surprised that Marc Wilkinson has not yet got a star. It was obvious that fraiche is worthy of a star before you even begin to eat. The service was outstanding. The girl running front of house was young but knowledgeable. We where having the tasting menu and as we did not know what we were eating we asked her to recommend wines and to our surprise she recommended great wines which complimented the food brilliantly and they weren't pricey either. The wine list is unbelievable! So much choice but it was broken down into sections which tell you the body of the wine so it makes life easier for the people who aren? knowledgeable on wines. The food is unbelievable aswell. as the night goes on it gets better and better. i had the foie gras which was the best foie gras i have ever tasted and for mains i had the lamb. it was cooked perfectly you just cannot fault the food. fraiche is an god send to the Wirral and hopefully it will encourage other chefs to improve the food reputation on the Wirral and start cooking great food like Marc Wilkinson does.
