This is in fact my second review. Earlier I'd complained about the coconut chutney with the Dosa. This time I told them beforehand and they came up trumps and had just the right consistency of coconut chutney with their dosa. Also gave me the extra helping of Samber! Recently in London, I ate at the Chennai Dosa, a chain in London. To be honest, I thought the Sambar of Maharaja was far superior to that served at Chennai Dosa. So Full marks on Samber chaps! Three slight niggles still - just to prove no bias - Chennai Dosa served the green and red chutney which is traditional with dosa's. But for some reason Maharaja did not do this. Also in the potato masala mix I believe it is traditional to put mustard seeds which were missing. Those three niggles aside, I think the Maharaja Dosa is very nice and overall better than that at the Chennai Dosa which also gets good comments. To be even-handed, I should add that Chennai Dosa only charge £2.40 for a masala dosa, while Maharaja charge like £6.50, but I think the Maharaja one is well worth it. So overall I'd give it a 7 to 8 out of 10, if they got the red/green chutney sorted, and the mustard seeds in the masala then I'd have given a 10/10. If you haven't yet tried a Dosa, then you must visit this place, you will not be disappointed.
