Nicola’s Ristorante – Waterloolovely restaurant an the service was quality. the waiters are very friendly an i would defo recommend this restaurant.
Nicola’s Ristorante – Waterloobrill brill brill what more can I say, kids love it, also play area for kids, cheap food, good service
Blue Anchor Inn – AintreeThis has always been one of my favourite bars in Liverpool. The food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The best thing however is the music. Every Monday night they have great bands or singers - the guy who sang all the swing tunes last week was outstanding! Keep up the good work guys and keep the Schmooze as the best Monday in Liverpool!
Schmooze Wine Bar and Eatery – Mossley HillWe regularly eat at damons. we've always had good food on good service. we went last week for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and they made a great fuss. The waiter gave my parents a free drink each (which came out of his pocket) and they got a cake even though we didn't ask for anything! Couldn't ask for better service it really made them feel special!
Damons – Mossley HillI have been eating at Owens regularly for the past 6 years. I have never been disappointed with the food or service yet. I booked Owens for my sons 18th birthday, with 19 guests in tow and the food and service was still 100%. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and i will continue to dine there.
Owens – Childwallcame here for staff leaving party at lunch last Monday. place was heaving, unsurprising as the lunch deal is 3 courses for £6.95.at this price we were not too sure what to expect. we were amazed at the quality of all the courses and the efficiency of the waitresses. apparently this place has just opened and if my first encounter with Jacques is anything to go by it will be around for many moons to come. great scoff, lovely staff and very affordable. the atmosphere has that French sidewalk cafe feel. well worth a visit.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City Centremy husband and i are regulars on the theatre circuit and often eat pre-theatre. we were delighted to have stumbled upon this bistro at the top of harman street, a stone's throw from the Philharmonic Hall. this place is a great find for us. our first visit was on a thursday night just before a show at the Everyman and we had the "pre-theatre offre"-3 courses for £9.95. the dishes were ample portions, delightfully presented and scrummy.the staff were ever attentive and very friendly. the speed of the food being served (which is very important to us theatre goers) was perfect and we didnt have to skip or hurry desserts which is something we have had to do many times before a show, due to slow service. The bistro was extremely busy and so it should be. the constantly changing menu has all tastes covered and the prices are exceptional. we will be back again and again and again.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreI've been a regular visitor to this restaurant for about 8 years. Lots of choice for pasta and pizza the one's I've had which is a lot of them have all been very nice. Starters are always nice, the mussels are always great. The fish and ,meat are also very good, the Lamb fillet is one of the best Lamb dishes anywhere. The dessert trolley is hard to ignore even if your full, very good desserts always lots of different choices. I would always recommend this place to anyone as there is so much choice and the food is lovely and not that expensive.
Villa Romana – Liverpool City Centrehave been going to this restaurant for 3 years on a regular basis and felt the need to write in after our last visit. it was amazing, we were celebrating a friends birthday and there were 22 of us, sometimes in large parties you can expect a slower service or one or two mistakes......not here. everything was as spot on, as good as my many other visits. the food was out of this world, especially the Normandy pork-that calvados sauce is to die for. the waitresses were really nice despite being so busy. the whole vibe is relaxed yet hustly bustly. i heard on the grape vine that it had opened another french bistro on Hardman Street which is equally as good........i'm sure it is but wild horses would not be able to drag me away from Pierre's.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City Centreheard about this place from a colleague. in their words,"once you go you cant stop".......how right they were. the evening menu is ever changing and the food is so fresh and tasty, even the free french bread on arrival.the atmosphere matches any parisienne restaurant and has a rusticand "lived in" feel.the french music, delicious food, efficient and friendly staff make for a great night out. i've just booked our 25th wedding anniversary there so as to get my husband hooked on this gallic gem.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City Centrehow have i not known about this wonderful bistro before now-i could kick myself. discovered it 3 weeks ago and been back 4 times, each time was as good as the first.the daily changing menu holds your interest and so you can never get bored of the food.the food is always beautifully presented and how do they do it at such a reasonable price.the staff are lovely and nothing is too much bother for them.by far my favourite restaurant.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreOn entering Sakara on a Friday night, i found the atmosphere to be very relaxing and mood setting, the waitress was more than happy to help us find a suited table( as the restaurant was very busy). once we had sat down we were presented with the wine list and the menu for food. The wine list was very reasonably priced and we ordered a bottle of house wine, which on this occasion was the red 'sediba' which was a nice full bodied wine that went well with the choice of food. On ordering, the staff were very helpful to explain what ingredients made up some of the dishes(such as the 'king prawn and avocado roll' which is a type of sushi, but with cooked fish) The food came out very well presented and very well portioned. Although we dined on one of the busiest evenings, the staff were very efficient and the food was prepared quickly and of high standards. I feel that this restaurant is a must for anyone who is willing to try something different and stray away from the very usual routine 'a la carte' menu.
Sakara – AigburthNever had a bad meal here at all, we go mostly for family occasions and birthdays and its really nice when they bring out a birthday cake for you for free, The plates are massive but definitely worth a visit!
Damons – Mossley HillHad a very good meal. staff were very friendly great atmosphere, cant wait to go back.
Damons – Mossley Hillthis restaurant is boss and so are the waiters. all of us went for bethans birthday and we had the best time ever. Nicolas is well the best restaurant.
