La Vina – Liverpool City CentreThe best!
Schmooze Wine Bar and Eatery – Mossley HillExcellent food and good portions, good service and very cheap considering the quality.
Belash – SouthportYou pay for the entertainment in the price of the meals. The Food is very good and will be eating there again. The service from the waiting staff was good but could have been better. Don? let this put you off though, it? a great night out.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreThe food is cooked in front of you, the chefs entertain you, I would return in a heartbeat. None of the stuffiness of a posh restaurant, yet the place is fab.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWent this Easter weekend and were very impressed, in fact delighted. This is cooking on another level for the price you pay. We both had a starter and main course, both beautifully presented and unequivocally fresh. This is A Class stuff here and we only paid £9.95 for the 2 courses! Don? be fooled by the price this little place is seriously up there and a real (inexpensive) treat, thanks!! AAA++
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreOUTSTANDING IN EVERY DEPARTMENT, NO POINT IN GOING TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT, THIS HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY WANT
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWe had our wedding reception here and had a fantastic time. Great food, service and ambience. Thoroughly recommended and certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreI've been to several Italian restaurants in the city centre over the last few months and this is the first to leave me feeling like I've been on a successful gastronomic adventure. Very good food, priced right and pleasant service. Only down point was the Italian chardonnay (new to me);rather watery and could have been chilled more.
Barbacoa – WaterlooIt? not just a restaurant but a night of entertainment as well. The food is probably some of the best food I have eaten in Liverpool. I have to be honest and say I was sort of expecting the sushi not to be freshest or the best tasting, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Well worth the prices, but just go easy, as the portions and side portions can be a little overwhelming by the end of the night. Nobody on out table managed a desert. Be warned. Great night out and cant wait to go again.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreThe food has always been very good when we have been to the Marsh Cat. There is a good selection and the fixed price choices are particularly good value. The place is so popular that they pack a lot of tables into the space and unfortunately on our last visit two people coughing constantly on a nearby table meant that we chose to leave before dessert or coffee. It is still very nice and we would go again, but they need to think a bit about the ambience.
Marsh Cat Restaurant – HeswallAs a confirmed Francophile for many years I found the Bistro to be a sheer delight and as it was my choice I was very pleased that the rest of the staff enjoyed their meals, we all had an extremely pleasant time after a hard days work and we fully intend to make the Wednesday night special a regular event
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreThis restaurant was very authentically Spanish and had an excellent atmosphere
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreI love this restaurant - the jalfreezi dishes are the best I have ever tasted and full of flavour. Combined with friendly service and a warm ambience the Heswall tandoori ranks as my no 1 Indian restaurant of all time AAA+
Heswall Tandoori – HeswallThis has the potential to be an excellent restaurant. The building itself is stunning and the decor is impressive. However, the service is mediocre, with too many wrong orders, a shortage of smiles and, admittedly young, staff who have clearly received very little training in the art of dealing with the public. I imagine the place will improve - the Ormskirk Le Frog is brilliant. I will continue to go there, rather than St Helens for the time being, in the hope that the management straighten out this sadly lacking franchise!
Le Frog Bistro – St.HelensBeen going to this restaurant for nearly 8 years now, as you can guess it is excellent. Staff are very good and very patient when dining at the end of a night out. Will continue to dine in the indian delight
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreVery child friendly staff. Fantastic architecture. Ordinary (trying to be polite) food that was over priced. Pop in to see the splendour of the setting; a shame you can? eat that instead!
Pizza Express – Liverpool City CentreEagerly awaited we expected to be impressed and sure enough, we were. Well done. Michael
