Lovely food, service is spot on. Certain dishes were quite pricey but worth it. Best chinese restaurant I've been to.

Lovely food, service is spot on. Certain dishes were quite pricey but worth it. Best chinese restaurant I've been to.
New Orchid Garden – West DerbyExcellent restaurant whether your dining with friends or in a couple. Service is not rushed, staff are helpful and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys mexican food and those who wish to try! Again only prob is waiting time for a table, but that is because it is so good, it speaks for itslef! Enjoy!
Tavern Co – WavertreeExcellent food, let down by authentic Spanish service, i.e grumpy, dismissive and unpleasant. Still worth a visit for the top tapas!
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthFood excellent, wonderful flavours, wines excellent quality, very reasonable prices compared to most restaurants. Offers on banquets Mon-Fri. Right next to Meadows pub, very handy.
Silver Star Restaurant – BootleI've been in the Monro with some friends and we had a great time!! Food amazing, wine the same. The staff were very lovely and friendly. Don't miss out!
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreWOW, A REAL WINE BAR AND A GOOD WINE LIST. FOOD GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE PUDDINGS. CHOOSE TO SCHMOOZE.
Schmooze Wine Bar and Eatery – Mossley HillThe Tai Pan is a must visit for all lovers of Chinese cuisine. The food is excellent and the service we received was faultless. The atmosphere, the decor, the service, quality of food and modest prices makes the Tai Pan one of the North West's premium Chinese restaurants to dine in.
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely fantastic. And we only went for lunch. I could rave on about the food all day but enough to say it was simply excellent and probably the best restaurant I've been to, certainly in Liverpool. So good we booked a return visit for our impending wedding anniversary before we left. Pricey, but worth every last penny.
60 Hope Street – Liverpool City CentreI agree! Great food (far better than certain places in Liverpool.....) Difficult to do better. And to top it all you can see Prenton Park (-;
Venezia Pizzeria – BirkenheadI disagree with the first review. I went with two friends and the service was quite quick and very friendly. Food was lovely and the view was one of the best you can get. Recommended!
This place is great!! Food is lovely especially if you go to the all you can eat buffet on the Monday. On other days, expect to be treated to magic tricks and/or balloon sculpture. The take away service (which can be delivered to your door at no extra cost) is also faultless. If only all places were like this!!
Magic Spices – WallaseyExcellent!
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthVery good atmosphere and service. Good steak sandwich and chips but would try something else next time.
Damons – Mossley HillGood food at modest prices. Sunday lunch is worth a visit for the chinese food lovers. The place is a bit crowded and rushed. Worth a visit.
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI recently attended a function here and it was like going back into the 1930`s. It was quite a pleasant meal, and competantly prepared , but not exactly with the skills of Silver Service as expected. It must be difficult to maintain an ageing institution such as this, and sadly its age is the one thing that hits you between the eyes. Do watch out for the car parking charges though. The joke of the evening was the car park fee ON LEAVING....... I now feel confident that I must have purchased shares in the car park!!!!
Prince Of Wales Hotel – SouthportWhat can I say? Pizza Express is the best Italian restaurant I've eaten in. The menu is very good offering pizza, pasta, breads, meats and much more. The dessert menu is also impressive - with a mascopone based dish, which is my favourite. This restaurant offers a lot of choice in a nice environment. There is also a no smoking area. The restaurant is right by Mathew Street - which is a bonus if going that way afterwards. I would suggest that if you like Italian food you go to this place first. You need not go anywhere else!
Pizza Express – Liverpool City CentreI went to Bella Pasta for my Birthday with my husband. We were sat next to a hen night. That was the last of our quiet night out! The service was quite slow. Waiting 20 minutes + for the meal of pasta and pizza. The food portions were small compared to other places in the city, such as Pizza Express. I was not impressed by the pasta dish that my husband had ordered. It was basically pasta with a tomato sauce and very bland. My pizza was very nice. It was a thin base. The topping amount was average. I really enjoyed the flavours in the pizza. Next I had ice cream with a brownie in. I was impressed by the amount of ice cream-only to realise that the brownie was tiny. I would describe this as average. I enjoyed the night out. However the staff seemed busy with the hen night girls, and the noise in the place was high. The restaurant is in a great place in Liverpool. I find it hard to recommend the restaurant. This is just not the place for me, and I've eaten in much better Italian restaurants. However I'm sure if you like this kind of thing you will have a great night out.
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreBeen here quite a few times and never been disappointed! Recently went with a large group and still the food and service was excellent.
