I disagree with the first review. I went with two friends and the service was quite quick and very friendly. Food was lovely and the view was one of the best you can get. Recommended!

This place is great!! Food is lovely especially if you go to the all you can eat buffet on the Monday. On other days, expect to be treated to magic tricks and/or balloon sculpture. The take away service (which can be delivered to your door at no extra cost) is also faultless. If only all places were like this!!
Magic Spices – WallaseyExcellent!
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthVery good atmosphere and service. Good steak sandwich and chips but would try something else next time.
Damons – Mossley HillGood food at modest prices. Sunday lunch is worth a visit for the chinese food lovers. The place is a bit crowded and rushed. Worth a visit.
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI recently attended a function here and it was like going back into the 1930`s. It was quite a pleasant meal, and competantly prepared , but not exactly with the skills of Silver Service as expected. It must be difficult to maintain an ageing institution such as this, and sadly its age is the one thing that hits you between the eyes. Do watch out for the car parking charges though. The joke of the evening was the car park fee ON LEAVING....... I now feel confident that I must have purchased shares in the car park!!!!
Prince Of Wales Hotel – SouthportWhat can I say? Pizza Express is the best Italian restaurant I've eaten in. The menu is very good offering pizza, pasta, breads, meats and much more. The dessert menu is also impressive - with a mascopone based dish, which is my favourite. This restaurant offers a lot of choice in a nice environment. There is also a no smoking area. The restaurant is right by Mathew Street - which is a bonus if going that way afterwards. I would suggest that if you like Italian food you go to this place first. You need not go anywhere else!
Pizza Express – Liverpool City CentreI went to Bella Pasta for my Birthday with my husband. We were sat next to a hen night. That was the last of our quiet night out! The service was quite slow. Waiting 20 minutes + for the meal of pasta and pizza. The food portions were small compared to other places in the city, such as Pizza Express. I was not impressed by the pasta dish that my husband had ordered. It was basically pasta with a tomato sauce and very bland. My pizza was very nice. It was a thin base. The topping amount was average. I really enjoyed the flavours in the pizza. Next I had ice cream with a brownie in. I was impressed by the amount of ice cream-only to realise that the brownie was tiny. I would describe this as average. I enjoyed the night out. However the staff seemed busy with the hen night girls, and the noise in the place was high. The restaurant is in a great place in Liverpool. I find it hard to recommend the restaurant. This is just not the place for me, and I've eaten in much better Italian restaurants. However I'm sure if you like this kind of thing you will have a great night out.
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreBeen here quite a few times and never been disappointed! Recently went with a large group and still the food and service was excellent.
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthPricey, but the food was excellent and the service quick.
New Orchid Garden – West DerbyBeen here many times, (usually worse for wear admittedly) but the quality of the food is superb. Having been to many Indians Liverpool has to offer , I think this the best by far. Everbody raves about Sultans Palace (mainly due to it's prime location) ,which I think is good, but not as good as this place. The staff always treat you with a lot of respect when you have had a few (as long as your not being a complete a**e of course) which I also think is refreshing compared to some places - A1!!!!
Indian Delight – Liverpool City Centrethis is the only indian restaurant in liverpool that serves punjabi food and most of the dishes are authentic. it's no fuss and no airs dining
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City Centrewhat a great night out. exellent food and service, and a jazz pianist/singer thrown in for good measure. hidden in the cavern quarter and well worth a visit.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City Centrelovely food, friendly staff, shame that they allow smoking
Yiamas Greek Taverna – Birkenheada lovely meal and very friendly staff - not your run of the mill menu - very tasy indeed. only gripe is there is no non smoking area which detracts from the wonderful flavours.
Ruhi Balti – Birkenheadwas like marie celeste when first entered - had to find own table, after five minutes wandered to bar to get own drinks....then they saw us and after that service was good and food was excellent...so after poor first impression was very good
Royal Oak – HeswallThis is not just a nice meal but an excellent evening out.
