We have been a few times and it’s been lovely but the food today was not great the burger buns were stale and the chicken was hard probably wouldn’t return tbh especially as it is expensive ~_

Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreI booked Elif for a team meal yesterday, and was delighted with the food and service received. The food choice was extensive and the food was well cooked, authentic and tasty! portions are a little too big, and having not been before we ordered multiple sides which were not needed. The place was clean and tidy overall, however the toilets were fairly grotty and not even though it said 'ladies' on the door - I am fairly certain there hadn't been many ladies in there!
Elif Bold Street – Liverpool City CentreWent for a meal yesterday before going to the theatre, As always it was lovely. We usually have scouse which is gorgeous when we come. But with the hot weather we decided to have a lovely sharing platter and we were not disappointed. The staff are lovely and you always feel welcome. We will be back again very soon. A big thank you for all the staff
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreLovely restaurant in a fantastic location but the food was overpriced and not great quality. I had the vegan bean chilli. The chilli itself was tasty but not very saucy, the rice was very dry and the salsa, it should be served with, appeared to be just sliced up peppers. It needed some proper salsa, guacamole and/or sour cream but at £2.50 a pot I didn’t have them. One of my friends had the Caesar salad which she thought needed more cheese and was just a bit boring. The staff were friendly and helpful and the music was great. We didn’t complain as it was ok but the food could be so much better.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreNot impressed. Booked for6pm for 4 people and started off very well. Attentive staff but we were the first in the restaurant. Starters and main course ordered and came out as one would expect. I had the carbonara with additional chicken for my main course. Worst I have be ever had. Tasteless. Rest of the group were reasonably happy with their starters and mains. We then waited over 35 minuets before I had to ask could we have the desert menu. Once we had finished our deserts 2 of us wanted a latte each. Over 10 minutes before we got them. This was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was not that busy. There were also a number of items on the menu that were unavailable. Wife agrees that we will not be going back there.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportWent to Ma E’s before visiting the theatre. The bar staff were welcoming and chatty. The service was great and the food ( pizza, bruschetta , salad and nachos was all fresh and very tasty! Good value and easy to reserve a place online. Would highly recommend!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreSuperb restaurant. Delicious food, very reasonable prices, charming service. Ambience (on a Tuesday evening) could be improved, and there must be scope for a better wine list with more Greek wines and more available by the glass. Would certainly go back when I next visit Liverpool.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat lunchtime meal and service. My wife and I, and our friends, always enjoy our meals at Dolce Vita. Standard remains high. Thank you.
Dolce Vita – SouthportLovely environment, friendly staff and the food was really tasty (I had chilli con carne) I will definitely return
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreI love this restaurant great food, great service and value for money. Can't wait till we go back
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthAmazing food, staff were so friendly!
Elif Bold Street – Liverpool City Centre5 star
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonThe food is unbelievable. Really enjoyed and will definitely be back. It is a very small restaurant so has a quiet relaxed atmosphere which we enjoyed.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensFabulous Sunday lunch in the most beautiful setting. Great choice of zero alcohol beverages for a pregnant lady and we cannot rate the staff more highly - it all went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely afternoon. We have already booked again for next week.
Houghwood Spikes Bar and Restaurant – St.HelensThis was my first time eating at Goya and it certainly lived up to it's reputation. The food was stunning (the starter platter for one is a must!) and the service was very friendly. Will 100% go back.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensFood was absolutely gorgeous and the staff are extreme helpful and attentive.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonNice food and very pleasant service. Menu similar to previous owners but not up to same high standard of cuisine. Very over priced in relation to standard of cuisine and portion sizes.
Dolce Vita – SouthportAs a tourist, who was eager to experience the food and ambient I had seen online, I felt very unwelcome there. Wasn't really sure where to sit or order, and the staff thought it would be funnier to laugh of the jokes from another customer about my broken english than bothering to help me and my wife in any way. But that's ok, if it's a place only for locals to have drinks, we wouldn't want to be there as well, so we left after a few minutes. Thankfully this was an exception in Liverpool, and throughout our stay, we found many other places with staff that are friendly and kind to everyone, not just their regular customers.
