Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.
Excellent food and service. Most enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamOur annual afternoon tea at Lytham Hall - this time 23 of us. Usual excellent food and service.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe were made to feel very welcome by the two ladies who waited on us for afternoon tea. Lovely dining room and surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamLovely relaxed afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches and gorgeous warm scones. Served to us by friendly ladies who were on hand with smiles and offers of fresh tea.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamThis was a celebration for a certain birthday and was a lovely way to spend 90 mins. Brilliant service, copious cups of tea, beautifully presented food. As always with afternoon tea, I found it too heavy on the sweet stuff, but it was a change to have small trifles and posset. The only disappointment was the scones. We all agreed that they were stodgy and we collectively awarded them very low score (we had 2 sconnoisseurs in our group) The scones and the clotted cream in a jar (that was a bit watery) spoilt an otherwise superb experience. We may try the Sunday afternoon tea as that sounds more interesting - although I think we'd avoid the scones.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamThere were 20 of us friends having afternoon tea together and everything was superb! We all said how attentive the servers were, nothing was too much trouble and we had constant refills of tea and coffee. The food was lovely and the tables were set out beautifully for us. Everyone loved it! The only reason I have marked down the food is because I preferred the sandwich choices we had previously when I last visited.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamMy wife and I booked afternoon tea while we were visiting St Annes for the week. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from SImon who proved to be an excellent host and the service was first class The staff were very attentive without being intrusive, something I've found difficult to achieve but Simon and his team have done it. The food was excellent with a lot of variety and unlimited cups of tea. I will definitely be booking another visit when we're in the area again and have already recommended it to several of our travelling companions.

Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamBack from another wonderful Afternoon Tea. Sunday is our favourite day to go! Great variety of savoury and desserts. Quality is excellent. Our host, Simon, was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamOn a very wet &soggy Sunday afternoon what better way to spend it than inside the beautiful Lytham Hall. Greeted as soon as we entered the library for our afternoon tea, bit disappointed that the tables are very close together, however the staff were excellent, Clear description of the food on our cake stand which seemed to go on for ever& also if that was not enough warm scones at the end. Endless pots of tea refreshed without asking, staff totally on the ball, Simon was our waiter also another lady who's name we didn't get. Both of them genuinely helpful & the lady was so informative about other events coming up later in the year. Loved the experience & yes would go again, a real gem in our local area Just keep doing all the good work at the Hall.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamStaff great & very helpful. Tables very close but thankfully only half full. Large choice of teas and some coffees. Sandwiches OK but nothing special cucumber on cream cheese old and soft definitely made a while ago. Scones warm and superb pity clotted cream and jam both came in little jars not what makes it special should be fresh. Must admit might think twice about booking again. Setting though is great. Always think you should not have to pay pay for parking to have an afternoon tea. All getting a bit too commercial.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamHad a great experience. We went round the Hall which was very interesting and there was lots to see. The staff were very friendly and informative. We then went for our Afternoon Tea. We were greeted by Simon and his team who were very charming. We were given our glass of bubbly first then the afternoon tea was brought in. Everything was explained to us and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were so obliging. We were often asked if we wanted more teas or coffees and when we couldn’t finish some of the cakes they very kindly put them in a box for us to take home. A really lovely afternoon in grand surroundings, very pleasant staff and lovely food. Thank you.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamVery good service and afternoon tea , was excellent . The staff were fantastic and helped with ever request. The tour of the house and the guides were really informative and learnt lots about the history of the house and the area. Only comment regarding afternoon, commented by my friend. Was on the clotted cream ,having fresh rather than in a jar would have made it perfect.
