Mezem – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Station Pub and Grill – Lythamexcellent
Station Pub and Grill – LythamWe booked stating 1 vegan guest and 1 vegan / gluten free guest, on arrival the server could not find the vegan menu, when she did find it she pointed out that the baked potato was not available, we asked for the allergen sheets and were told they did not have any, when we insisted they had to have them they were found, only to not contain the allergens for the vegan menu. On checking with the kitchen we were told that there was nothing for the vegan / gluten free diner [not sure why wheat would be in a lentil shepherd's pie or veg chilli] my daughter was then offered a sandwich, when we enquired what they planned to put on the sandwich and if the bread was vegan we drew a blank, and again told the bread contained egg. My daughter was then offered just hummus and chips. When we went to the bar for drinks we waited over 5 minutes to then be told the bar person could not make coffee he had not been trained. Our food took almost 1 hour to arrive with the server stating sorry the machine was broken ? When the food did arrive it was only 2 of the 3 main courses and my daughter's chips, almost 6 minutes later my daughters hummus arrived I still did not have any food, my food arrived over 12 minutes after the others so I had to eat while the other had finished. Incidentally 3 other tables surrounding ourselves were served long before us and they all arrived after. Very disappointed with the whole experience. We did note they seemed very under staffed and stressed. The only plus was the server did remain frindly and polite throughout.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamStaff happy to accommodate one of our group that had onion and garlic allergy Options limited for this diner but chosen food was excellent Others all enjoyed well cooked, tasty food
Station Pub and Grill – LythamWe had booked a table for 5.30pm and were only served our food after 7pm! Utterly shocking service. Admittedly this was one of the lytham festival nights however, the pub clearly couldn’t cope with the volume of customers and should have planned for this. We were not kept informed of any delays and after asking we were told they had all their staff working and they were going as fast as they could but to have to wait for an hour and half after ordering is not acceptable. They had clearly overbooked. The food came one plate at time which slowed things down even more and was only ok, nothing to shout about. We did get a free round of drinks and cash back for the inconvenience however this didn’t make up for being delayed for the rest of our plans before the main event. We will not be returning.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamDelicious food but service was awful. We booked a table before going to lytham festival. When we ordered we were told food would be 45 mins. It actually took 90 mins! Staff apologised and gave us partial refund . However we rushed our meal within 5 mins which spoilt the experience. On busy weekends they need to limit the menu and be honest about wait time. If we had known we would not have ordered food and got take away elsewhere instead
Station Pub and Grill – LythamWhat a great place! Delicious food, reasonable prices, so many great deals! The outdoor area is perfect for summer. Tucked away just 2 mins down the road from Lytham center, you can go for a meal out with the family, brunch with friends and watch live music! Highly recommend!
Station Pub and Grill – LythamExcellent lunch at Central Beach Lytham. We chose it as its lovely and it allows dogs. I had a very tasty cottage pie and my son a sandwich and a cake. A recommended cafe!
Central Beach – LythamAbsolutely fantastic place...food atmosphere service location...and pet friendly...the live band were excellent....worth a few visits..
Station Pub and Grill – LythamGreat service, very nice food and a great pub for dogs. If your around lytham and St annes, I would definitely give this a try.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamEat here with friends quite often on a Friday night and always order off the Grill menu so we can take advantage of the free wine offer but was disappointed last night to find out that the Zinfandel Rose is no longer an option . Could it not be made available at a suppliment?
Station Pub and Grill – LythamOne of my favourite spots in Lytham. Has a unique feel to it.
Barrique Wine Bar and Deli – LythamFirst time here after a few visits to its St Annes predecessor. They had a few staffing problems in the kitchen so the food took a while but we were in a group and had an enjoyable evening. It’s good to have Greek as an alternative option to the ubiquitous Italian.
Olive Tree Brasserie – LythamGreat looking place. Our food was good. Staff needed more training.
Olive Tree Brasserie – LythamWe love your cafe/restaurant. It has become our favourite place to eat when we visit Lytham. The food is excellent, staff are lovely. Please keep up your good work and be in Lytham for many years to come. We thank you.
Shambles – LythamI'd booked for a celebratory lunch for some friends from work, and the experience was great from initial enquiry to final exit. Friendly polite staff, a really good menu selection that catered for the keen carnivores, the vegetarians and the vegans with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency. Highly recommended. Thank you to the Station Pub and Grill for making my last day at work with friends, great.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamBest beer on the Fylde Coast. FACT as judged by CAMRA. Love this little pub. Good atmosphere and nice people. And as for the ale...first class!
