Paid about £14 for 2 drinks and 2 curries on Thursday curry night. Excellent value and it tasted good. I don't suppose the ingredients were of the highest order however a pleasant feast nonetheless.
The Railway Hotel – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

The Railway Hotel – LythamTijuana is a cool little Mexican takeaway where Ghandi used to be. Run by young lads into their food. We had 2 burritos and both were very tasty. The slaw could have done with more mayo as it was very dry. Chips were good too. Like the logo and the design of the place. Think a restaurant could be next!
Tijuana Mexican Kitchen – LythamWas pleasant enough. I had lamb tagine which was ok 6.5 out of 10 and my partner had sea bass 7. Waitress and service good, pleasant and chatty. Fairly standard. Reasonable with bottle of merlot, afters and a coffee liqueur for £69. Overall experience 6.85 for Ego Lytham.
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamThe food is very good unfortunately, the service is abysmal. The wait for one cold starter and one warm starter was an hour and a half and we were told that it was our fault as we had said we weren't in a rush! The owner is extremely arrogant and let us know that this is what happens when you have a busy restaurant! We weren't the only guests complaining that evening. Every table downstairs was made to wait an inordinate amount of time for each course.
Novello – LythamCannot beat the match day grub for value and taste. Chilli on chips always a winner after a game. Fylde Rugby club is the best in Lancashire for rugby and food!
Fylde Rugby Club – LythamSome Thai dishes are just so basic that they don't warrant being served in a restaurant. This was the case with my dish. Pleasant as it was, even I could have rustled it up in 5 minutes. Everyone else was happy with their food and the venue is nice. Service was god even though the poor young ladt dropped and smashed all the drinks. Not very excited about going back but I'm sure I will.
Bangkok Thai – LythamRestaurant is called 'cosy', for cosy read cramped. If you get a table near the door be prepared to have takeaway collectors bumping into you, and on cold nights being frozen from the draught from the constantly opening door. Don't order anything other than a single meal, you will have to eat with your elbows tightly into your sides. The food is not cheap and does not warrant Abul's descriptions. I could say lots more but will leave it there.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamBeen here twice in the last week and I’m wondering why I don’t go more often. I really like the atmosphere inside and out (when weather permits), the menu is really quite interesting for a pub (try the smoked haddock dish) and they always have a good selection of ales if that is your thing.
Queens Hotel – LythamLovey food just shame they don't answer the phone to take your order.
Ahmet Turkish Kebab House – LythamA little annoyed. Wasn't to bothered about Pizza Express for dinner, only went as the wife had a 30% discount card. When I paid the bill I handed the lady my debit card and discount card at the same time. She didn't add the discount I realised when I got home. When I called to explain the manager said you can use it next time. I don't want a next time just the discount applied now as it should be.
Pizza Express – LythamAlways my destination of choice when back in Lytham. Good coffee, very tasty food, great view out of the windows. My cheese and ham toastie and sweet potato chips were bob on!
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamHad a lovely meal in Lytham's newest restaurant Bangkok Thai. Enjoyed the green papya salad especially.
Bangkok Thai – LythamBosco was ace last night. Really like it here, perfect for a filling meal after a long weekend.
Bosco – LythamWe very much enjoyed our evening in Spago last night. I think it is the best looking venue in Lytham but wasn't sure about the food. However our meal was excellent. Risotto, seabass, croquets and the veloute were all perfectly cooked. Good to see Felix in the kitchen and seafood is his speciality. Service was efficient and the house Rioja was very good value indeed.
Spago Lytham – LythamThe newly refurbed Taps is looking great! A bigger and better al fresco area, increased seating inside and a feminized modernisation that hasn't compromised the integrity of this famous pub. They had my favourite beer on last night, Windermere Pale Ale. While we were there the landlord was presented with The CAMRA Lancashire best pub award. Well done to all. Looking forward to trying the new increased menu options. Cheers.
The Taps – LythamHad a great meal. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Many thanks. Andy.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamHad a very tasty take away last night from Mohshinas. Will definitely use it regularly.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamHad two lovely lunches with my son at Park View Café. He very much enjoyed his food after playing on the park for an hour or two. My soup and sarnie was pleasant too. A good option with kids!
Park View 4U Cafe – LythamBottomless Brunch, £40 for 2 hours of selected food and drinks. Available 12pm-5pm, seven days a week.
