Novello – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Novello – LythamExcellent smoked haddock with Bacon, creamy mash and egg. All washed down with a fine pint of Theakstons. Place is back on the map.
Queens Hotel – LythamThe Queens has had a refurb. Was excited to see it. Looks a lot better with its quirky feel. I love the distressed furniture, chalkboards and especially the ducks heads on the wall. I only wish it would go down that quirky route even more in the style of tenanted pubs in London. Didn't eat but enjoyed a well poured pint of Guinness with my dog!
Queens Hotel – LythamWe had a meal there on Friday, what a beautiful restaurant, good value for money and good service. The food was tasteless, I and two of my party agreed.I last went two years ago with the same problem,I thought it would have improved by now.
Chus – LythamFirst time here and was suitably impressed. It was buzzing on a Saturday night with the boss much in evidence making sure everyone got served promptly, despite the crowd. Recommended.
Bosco – LythamEnjoyed excellent hospitality at the Fylde v Sedgley Park game last week. Good food, beer, company and of course a fylde win.
Fylde Rugby Club – LythamLove this restaurant. Excellent food, well presented without being pretentious. We eat here regularly, anything from a simple pasta or pizza through to a 'special occasion' celebration and we've never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the wine list caters to every pocket. They have recently started opening on Sunday lunchtimes with a 5 course menu on offer which we've yet to try.
Novello – Lythamhaving just picked up my partner's new car on saturday 17th sept we were looking around for a place to eat and passed this place on our wanderings. The decor was very modern and welcoming as were the staff, particularly the landlord and his partner. Having become accustomed to expecting very average but ok food from many pubs, I was delighted to find the sirloin steak dinner I ordered was cooked to perfection and more than worth the £7 or so it cost. A good thick piece of meat that had been cooked correctly and just melted in the mouth... even the small rump steak my partner went for as part of her turf-surf-turf platter was tender and cooked exactly as it should. We finished with what can only be described as a glass 'bucket' of hot brownie and ice cream and raspberries, topped with whipped cream, various cadbury bits and bobs and a curley-wurley... it beat the two of us and could probably serve four after the main course portions, hahaha - lovely place for a cheap lunch and friendly atmosphere... give it a try ;~)
Blossoms Ember Inns, The – LythamHad a smashing lunch here on Saturday. Chicken and bacon pie for me and my husband had a fish platter. Excellent food and friendly service. Would like to have a look at the menu before going to the cafe. Why is there not more information on here?
Artisan @ Booths – LythamAte with a friend at Henrys on Tuesday evening after hearing good things about the place. I went with the specials which was a Crab Croquette starter that was ok. The main was Gnocchi with Butternut Squash and was so sickly it was inedible. My friend had the pie which was average. The wine we picked was switched for something else and wasn't the best in the world. Shame as the staff were excellent.
Henry’s – Lythamfood was really nice first time and i'm even coming back on 20th for my hen night thanks for the lovely food will defo be tell friend and family thanks laura
Woks Cooking – Lytham3 Visits - 3 very enjoyable meals - 3 times excellent, pleasant service
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamBest restaurant in Lytham, never mind the Hastings or Portofino. This is the place you want. it's about dishes that blow you away with taste and texture, which you can never usually match with British or Italian unfortunately. You might want to go out for a meal of good quality food, but why not try ... spectacular? This should be your prime preference for a meal out. No joke, my claims are genuine. You'll soon find a dish to fall in love with. I know I have, on erm, rather too many occasions... :)
Red Fort – LythamMy family have been visiting the Red Fort ever since it opened over 10 years ago, and we still continue to enjoy the fantastic food and service there regularly. Thankfully we live within walking distance of the restaurant, but it remains a place that you should definitely make an effort to visit, for a great meal. On the menu that offers a wide selection of good dishes, you'll easily find a favourite, whether it be a classic curry, or a signature dish you may never have tasted before. They also cater well for vegetarians, as even my strict vegetarian brother loves his meal. The staff are friendly and helpful, adding outstanding service, to the already solid foundation of gorgeous food. We'll never really enjoy any restaurant quite as much, as this special place.
Red Fort – LythamAVOID!!!! obviously under new ownership now, atrocious food and customer service
The Fairhaven – LythamHad a lovely lunch in Zest the other day. Although this was spoilt when we got the bill and was informed quite rudely by the waitress that there is no 10% discount for Sugarvine readers. (despite the Sugarvine website quite clearly stating that there is a 10% discount of the total bill at both Portofino and Zest.) Will make me think twice about both dining in Zest and using the Sugarvine offers section again.
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamThis is one of the best restaurants in Lytham.Whilst it was extremely busy this did not jeopardise the service and quality of the food. The food was first class which reflected the popularity of the venue. We do not live locally so visits are not as frequent as we would like. This place would stand proudly next to any renowned major city restaurant. Keep up the good work-hope to re visit in a few weeks.
Henry’s – Lythamlovely meal
