I love the new thin base Romana Pizza's. Just the way they should be!
Pizza Express – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Pizza Express – LythamBy far my favourite restaurant in Lytham. Food is always spectacular, service is wonderful. You will wait a little longer for your meal during busy times, but its always worth it. Pricey, but you always feel like its money well spent on great quality food. Shame more people do not venture up that end of Clifton street, they would be very pleasantly surprised.
Novello – LythamI didn't go into the main hotel restaurant because my wife and I are not yet 75, apparently a condition for entrance. We did, however, eat several times in the bar during a recent stay. This was always pretty good in the past, but now that they have a new chef, it is really excellent and good value for a quick informal meal. Highly recommend the fish & chips and bangers & mash. Salads are good too.
Clifton Arms Hotel – Lythamgood night out
Ship and Royal – LythamThe sandwich shop is good food at affordable prices extremely busy at lunch time which is to be expected but other than that the staff are very friendly and the food v.tasty.
The Sandwich Shop – LythamConsistently good. I really like the new pizzas they have added to the menu and the venue has a really cool vibe.
Pizza Express – LythamI really enjoyed the hospitality at Fylde Rugby Club recently. The facilities are very impressive, its a great location for a party.
Fylde Rugby Club – LythamThe food is excellent, but my favourite aspect of this place is the fact that the menu has not only a good selection of 'standard' dishes (jalfrezi, rogan josh etc) but the 'red fort uniques' provide many different options, most, if not all are great.
Red Fort – LythamI went to the blossoms for the first time just after it changed to an ember inn and have been going ever since all i can say is excellent the food is outstanding and the place its self is lovely and clean definitely recommended.
Blossoms Ember Inns, The – LythamThis is by far and away the best restaurant in Lytham. If you want outstanding food which has a contemporary, but not pretentious, twist, then this place has it all. It also has a lovely atmosphere with friendly service. It is not a posers paradise unlike other restaurants in Lytham (e.g Portofino, 1AM where the food is not great quality) but this is clearly the classiest venue in Lytham for the discerning customer and is the place to be seen.
Novello – LythamWent here for the first time yesterday since it had changed to an ember inn, I have to take the time to write this review to say that the food was excellent an excellent menu, very reasonably priced, served in lovely modern, clean surroundings by very friendly helpful staff. I will def be back and recommend to all friends and family!!!!
Blossoms Ember Inns, The – LythamRenowned for its quality and service I decided to arrange a lunch party for 10 adults and 3 children and I'm rather pleased that I did. As there were so many of us we opted for a private room (the Fylde Suite) and were served canopes on arrival. The Sunday lunch menu was concise but appealing with a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 puddings. The service was exactly as you would expect with the Clifton Arms - perfect. The food was even better! Well presented, good quality ingredients. Priced at £17.50 per head complete with coffee and hand made chocolates this has to be one of the best hotel restaurants on the Fylde.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamWe had a beautiful meal down stairs Saturday night. The best steak I ever had. Thanks guys.
Portofino – Lythamsteve & susanne from shrewsbury. enjoyed it so much the other week-end booked again for b,day 02/09/06 long way 2 travel, but well worth it!
Novello – LythamWe were half way through eating our fish and chips when we realised why the fish was so delicious and different - you know how you normally end up with a big heavy free-standing shell of greasy batter that you can pick the fish out of (and then preferably throw the batter away) - well here the batter was a much lighter coating that just gave the fish a delicious crispy edge. I shall definitely go back for more.
Lytham Fish and Chips – LythamMy wife and I are regulars to this establishment and live in Lytham. We went last night and they have refurbished it to a very high and modern standard. The food has also had a refresh, but with all the old favourites so you can not fail to find something you like!! If it is not too busy, Aahad is open to going off the menu with a variation on a meal of your own choice. We are total fans of this recently improved Lytham landmark eatery. Well done guys keep it up!! Andy & Helen
Red Fort – LythamBy far the best venue for Sunday lunch in the Fylde. It's recently undergone a bit of a modernisation but it still retains that grand formal feel. perfect for special occasions!
