Visited Friday before the new year. Great Bar area with a good range of beers and cocktails. Restaurant is upstairs and a good size. Good range of Tapas dishes, recommend the ribs, with all the usual meals and some new twists. All freshly cooked and served by a great lady who was very helpful and pleasant . Enjoyed the experience and will be back 2024.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldTook my adult kids for a Xmas outing last night. The food unfortunately isn’t very good. In my opinion there’s way too many options, normally when this happens is that none of the dishes are good. They should cut the menu by half and concentrate on getting really good dishes out. We ordered the manchego board … when it was brought to us the waiter said they have run out of manchego and substituted it with halloumi fries ! This is not good in future just tell the customer don’t give him the dish with substituted cheese. BUT the bar is really good ! We loved the ambience and the decor and building is beautiful. The staff super friendly…. Get the food right and definitely then its a winning combination

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWent on Friday 22nd for my birthday meal and it was ace! Food was gorgeous (but you NEED to put the chorizo in red wine back on the menu although you kindly made it on request for us!!!) There was a live singer as well which albeit very loud but once you got used to the volume he was fabulous which really added pazazz to the night and made the evening even more enjoyable! All in all, an incredible place to go and eat and highly recommended!

The meal was delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually enjoyed every single course and not had a complaint about anything. The atmosphere was lovely and friendly. The recent renovation is superb and has kept all the original feel of the place. Fabulous job. Also the toilets were spotless. Will definitely be returning

We're a range of ages with some right picky characters among us - but even we can't fault Bacchus which, believe me, is saying something!
