Stunning looking restaurant that now offers afternoon tea. The cloister like seating area to the front of the hotel is the perfect place to have it.
Afternoon Tea At Radisson Blu Edwardian – Manchester City CentreFound this gem by chance and have returned again and again, food is excellent and is always hot and fresh, Staff always friendly and helpful the wines are good and reasonably priced as is the food, booking recommended.
Rozafa – Manchester City CentreAmazing recently built old style pub in the heart of uber contempory Spinningfields. Great outside space and I must say the best Guiness I can remember having. Didnt eat but will next time.
Oast House – SpinningfieldsLooking forward to this place opening later in the year. Their other pubs are spot on and the city centre needs a New Moon Vibe!
Beef and Pudding – Manchester City CentreThe entrance to this restaurant is reminiscent of le Louvre in Paris. Through the glass pyramid you descend to a unique and stylish subterranean bar & restaurant where everything is cream. We enjoyed a drink at the bar before being shown to our table which was at the far end of the restaurant, directly in front of the glass wall which separates the restaurant and the kitchen. It was fantastic watching the food being prepared and a sign of confidence by the management I always think. Our waiter was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the food & more than happy to offer advice or make suggestions. You can choose a selection of smaller dishes or stick to the more traditional starter & main course. If you like fish, this is the place for you however there are plenty of vegetarian and meat options too. The food was amazing - we opted for 8 smaller dishes to share which arrived in a steady flow rather than all at once which suited us. I can't wait to go back - lovely experience.
Australasia – SpinningfieldsGreat steak and lovely Malbec wine at Alberts tonight!
Albert Square Chop House – Manchester City CentreMy partner and I along with a group of family and friends had the pleasure of dining at Al Bacio. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious, truly authentic Italian cuisine. We will definitely be eating here again and would highly recommend that others do too.
Al Bacio – Manchester City CentreI liked the food which is genuine Mediterranean and very delicious. The environment is very cosy and inviting. The wine is quality.
Rozo Eat Drink Relax – Manchester City CentreI recently visted Duttons and was pleasantly surprised, the location is great, the decor makes it a very comfortable place to be, the food looked good, although I haven't eaten here yet, I plan too! Great choice for a drink or two in Manchester.
Duttons – Manchester City CentreThis was my second visit to this unique restaurant. Last time I was impressed with the Lobster and equally so this time, with my steak. Starters were also tiptop as was the house Rioja. Would recommend the hotel the restaurant is housed in, as a place to stay, if in Manchester too.
Steak & Lobster Manchester – Manchester City CentreMe and my boyfriend was recommended Annie's by a friend! But when she went Jennie wasn't there to greet her to much by my suprise she was when I visited! I went on a Sunday, the waiting area is gorgeous to have so e drinks and a catch up, as I went on a Sunday I thought I'd try the Sunday roast!! And the mash potatoe!! Oh my, amazing! Literally melted in the mouth, ill definitely be back for afternoon tea! Gorgeous restaurant with friendly staff x
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThis venue is very disappointing. The service is appalling and the food is very mediocre. A small dispute over the bill lead to the owner of the restaurant shouting abuse and swearing loudly in the middle of a relatively busy restaurant issuing threats and calling the police (who took my side much to his frustration), in spite of my own calm and polite approach to the matter. It was embarrassing and something i have never expect from a restaurant. It ruined my evening and made other customers feel very uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, the food itself is also of lower quality than its competitors nearby. I strong word of advice - AVOID!
Siam Orchid – Manchester City CentreExcellent
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWe had my Wife's Birthday meal Friday evening. Great atmosphere, good food, and a real buzz in the place. A minor hiccup during service was recovered with support from the senior management, and we left late, having had a great time and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a really good time , with good quality food at reasonable prices.
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreMy husband and I had dinner on Saturday 30th March. It was a little tricky to get to as we'd decided to take the car, so for the benefit of future visitors we would suggest parking at the Arndale NCP and take a cab to the top of Old Bank Street. This is a superb venue, when you first arrive through the door you are greeted by friendly staff in the lounge. It felt so warming and informal in the way it is furnished. We were then led downstairs to be greeted by head waiter who gave such a pleasant greeting. The service really is superb, there was always someone attending to your every need, but without being intrusive. The place was bustling with people, with tables of two to larger parties, you could hear the humorous banter and chatter and the background music was just perfect. The menu was my problem, I wanted everything, I even joked could you do me a buffet of taster options ha ha....full credit to the chef as they really have considered their options. We had to start Bury Black Pudding Spring Rolls....oh they were so good, light crispy batter and the black pudding was a soft texture. I've never seen black pudding served like tat before. Mains were steak, trimmed and cooked perfectly in fact my husband said it was the best steak he'd ever had; whist I opted for Vegetable Cobbler with Cheese Scones and enjoyed very bit. It's rare that I get to dessert but found room for Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard - very moist sponge and the toffee sauce finished it well. Jenny came around and spoke to everyone which I thought was rather a nice personal touch. The decoration is quite informal but you get a mix of dress, so you wouldn't be out of place in a nice dress or jeans. Jenny and Chris your staff have really done you proud, thank you for making our 'date night' very memorable - needless to say we shall be coming again soon with friends and family.
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreBeen in a few times now and i'ts always been good and now they have even more choice, best buffet in manchester
Manzil – Manchester City CentreGot to be the worst food and service I have ever had. Curry was slop in a bowl. I couldn't tell the difference between different dishes on the table. I think it must all come from one central slop bucket. The staff were rude and the place has no atmosphere. The only thing that was edible was the rice and that was over priced. There are much nicer places to get a good curry in Manchester. I would not eat here again, even if it was free.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreRecently visited manzil after it was recommended to me by my friends I was pleasantly shocked as to how good it was. The food decor and friendly staff give the place a really relaxing experience. Far better than the nawab, try it you certainly will not be disappointed
