Pearl City Cantonese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI had a brilliant evening for all. from the moment we entered we where made very welcome the staff where very attentive. a huge selection on the menu... food was divine... we will all diffenatly be coming back.
Lal Qila – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely Fantastic!!!! Fantastic service and atmosphere. Fantastic food and wine. First visit to this restaurant on Saturday 26th May 2012. We have been to other Greek restaurants in Manchester on numerous occasions and this is by far the best. We were a party of 10 and everyone in our party throughly enjoyed the food, wine and dancing.Thank you Rozafa, Princess Street, Manchester. See You Very Soon!!!!
Rozafa – Manchester City CentreWe ate here to celebrate our anniversary. Very nice decor. Service was excellent. Interesting menu and the food was delicious. They also posted my anniversary card to me which I'd accidentally left after drinking a little too much wine (it was too nice not to)!
63 Degrees – Manchester City CentreDaughter visited restaurant on her birthday using one of the Happli vouchers which she purchased. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the voucher code. Owner made little or no attempt to try and resolve the situation which resulted in my daughter and her boyfried being made to feel like second class citizens, humiliated and embarrassed in front of other diners. The way the staff handled the situation was deplorable. Just because my daughter and her boyfriend are only 19 years old this is no way to treat people. Other kids of that generation would probably have taken matters into their own hands. A warning to others - seems they are not interested in customer service, only your money. Anway, my daughter felt so upset they just walked out without ordering.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreHad another lovely meal there. And to make it even better all Vegetarian Main Courses this week are 2 for 1 with this voucher. Happy Days! :-)http://www.giraffe.net/classic/promotion/89/manchester-spinningfields
Giraffe – SpinningfieldsNice meal. Great atmosphere. Good wine. What else would you want?
ABode Manchester – Manchester City CentreBeen to 1847 regularly for the last 6 months or so. The food is superb, wine choices are lovely. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative thing I would have to say about this restaurant is that it's ventilation isn't very good and you can leave smelling of food. If they can sort this I'd give it 10/10 every time.
Bistro 1847 – Manchester City CentreBeen going to Dimitris for years. Food is always good, but something has happened recently which has change the ambience. Went for dinner with two friends, one of whom is very poorly and wanted to treat her friends. Managed to get a table around 5pm on a Saturday evening, but were told the table was needed back by 6.30. When it came to 6.30 we were happy to move, however we still had food and drinks to finish. The waitress then offered us a table in the alley (which is very nice) However, after 15 minutes, the manager came over and demanded that table back. His behaviour was totally at odds with that of managers in reputable establishments. He positively aggressive and gave the impression that he is not up to the job. Not only was he bullying - he also encouraged other staff to gang up on us. Not sure this would have happened if we'd have had our husbands with us. Never come across anything like it. thought it was just us, but we have talked to someone else who had a similar experience at this restaurant. Take this in to consideration if you are planning a relaxing nights out with friends. Not a great way to end your evening.
Dimitri’s Tapas Bar Taverna – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely 11/10! Service was personal, fun and attentive. The food was amazing and the staff made my birthday really special with lots of extras. Better than any other Manchester restaurant I have ever been to. Think I found my favourite!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI’m glad the bollywood masala has opened near Hilton hotel. Everything we ordered was good and the dishes actually tasted different, really home made and service was very good, decor is extremely contemporary, spacious and comfortable. Even on a busy Saturday night I did not feel hemmed in.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreThought we'd try bollywood masala as we drove past and had never tried it. initial impressions were good, greeted with a friendly welcome and the decor seemed clean cut. however the food lacked real depth and flavour and the portions were too much. Alot of work needed on the food side of things if they are to keep up with the collection of restaurants in the city centre.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreWell where do i start about the food. Below par food compared to the other Indian restaurants around city centre. starters were large portions enough for 2 people n the presentation was dire, overloaded with garden veg. the main courses were revolting and overpriced. i felt sick parting with my money at the end, definitely one to avoid. The manager n chef should taste what they're sending out..standards are shocking!!!
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreAs an Italian who lives here and misses her home country food enormously I must say that at Per Tutti for the very first time since I moved over here 3 years ago (and after many disappointing attempts elsewhere) I finally had a proper Italian pizza! And not just an Italian one, a Neapolitan style one, thin but with soft edges! Delicious! I went to Per Tutti with about 10 Italian friends who heard of it by word of mouth (the restaurant is already a cult within all the Italians I know living over here) and we all rated the meal as "The Best Pizza Abroad" we ever had, and ended up chatting to the chef, Agostino, who turns out to actually be from Napoli! Forget all the rest of the menu and just go for a pizza: my favourite ones so far have been Al Cotto, Ercole and 4 Formaggi. I was additionally impressed by the dessert I tried (Tiramisu and Panna Cotta) and by the fact they've got Menabrea beer and even Aperol!!! Tried Per Tutti about 2 months ago and have been there nearly once a week since. I strongly suggest it to all who want to try a real Italian taste!
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreWe visited the restaurant for the first time on Friday evening. My husband is Italian, and we eat at many restaurants, and decided to try this one due to the favourable reviews. We was extremely disappointed and will not be returning! Firstly we was seated adjacent to the toilet entrance which was a very busy area, the restaurant was very noisy, seats too close together, and appeared to be a shortage of staff. Had one drink throughout the meal as couldn't get the attention of the waitress and wasn't approached for a refill either. Starter was not as described, should have been cheese with parma ham, got cheese with salami. Garlic bread inedible as burnt, overcooked to a crisp! Steak was ordered as well done, arrived still mooing, had to be sent back. Osso Bucco very fatty and drown in sauce so couldn't taste the vegetables. This is one of the worse Italian meals we have ever eaten and we will not be returning.
Ciao Bella Restaurant – Manchester City Centrewe have been to 90% of buffets in Manchester and this is by far the best 10 out of 10. the staff are also very friendly and it is very clean. the food is excellent always fresh and the tastiest in Manchester. brill. would recommend it to anyone.
Peking Court, The – Manchester City CentreWe had a great evening here, lovely steaks and a fab toffee banana dessert, we arrived in time to see the pianist which finished it of nicely. We will be going back!
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreDined in January and thought both the food & service were top notch, food well priced, well portioned, well presented & expertly executed. Service was efficient & friendly and was refreshing to find a fine dining restaurant which delivers good food and service with no pretence, not over-the-top formalities. Great wine list, well put together with a selection to cover all varietals. Well worth a visit!!
