Qila Khyber – Manchester City CentreDined at Giovanni's last night before going to The Bridgewater Hall. It was the beginning of a lovely evening, just a short walk from the theatre. We booked for 5pm (perhaps a little early) but by 5:30 there was a queue for tables. It is a great place with a buzz about it. The food was lovely, wine super and service excellent. My husband had crab and prawn avocado starter followed by veal in a wine and cream sauce-- delicious. I started with the king prawns in a garlic and chilli sauce, followed by the monkfish rolled in proscuitto ham,--excellent. The starters needed garlic bread or just plain bread as an accompaniment.. We finished the excellent meal with coffee. We shall certainly go again and would unreservedly recommend this restaurant but do book and go early!
Don Giovanni – Manchester City CentreWe had a gorgeous meal and service at first was great. We then found paper in one of the dishes so we told the waiter. A manager came over and found the situation quite amusing! All he could do was offer us another dish to replace this, and laughed along with the waiter. After taking this up with management after, nothing came of it, but a short blunt apology by email.
Akbars – Manchester City CentreWent to salvis last night stumbled upon by accident after walking out of zizzis, what wonderful service and wonderful food my little girl had the carbonara and a friend and I had the meat and cheese platter and bruschetta, will definitely be back !!!!
Salvi’s – Manchester City Centrefantastic food we went yesterday had a great meal we will be going again shortly all the way from waterfoot
Happy Seasons Chinese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreExquisite food. I especially enjoyed the prawn and courgette starter and cinque de giorno pizza. And to top it all off the service was excellent! The staff are the most friendliest, polite and hard-working people you will ever meet in this industry. And you don't have to wait hours for your food! Thank you for a lovely meal Per Tutti!

Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreWe booked table couple weeks in advance as it was my partner birthday. When we arrived no one bother what was in our reservation had to ask twice to have table changed and not to be seated next to big and loud party , even tho restaurant was almost empty. Then waiters was over every 2 minutes, not even leaving us for a moment of peace, for some people it mean that they have good service for me it means I wasn't able to have normal conversation , not mention finishing even one sentence) . food was average, definitely lacking something, wine was much warmer than room temperature. I hardly ever complain but I can't say I had a good evening. Staff made us feel like they was rushing to get rid of people. For me it's a NO NO
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWent there at the beginning of the week...thought the food was grand, atmosphere great and service gnarly!! Special offer on food so was very reasonable, will most certainly be back!
Sandinista! Cafe Bar – Manchester City CentreWonderful addition to Manchester, top notch cuisine, top class service. Not massively fishy so not sure whether you can call it a seafood restaurant. That aside flavours were amazing, professional service which was friendly without being too pretentious. Nice uniforms!! Decor is quite odd, needs photos or pictures, does seem somewhat bare. Overall very good easily the best restaurant in Manchester with regards to food & service just other little issues need sorting. Well worth a visit for sure.
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City CentreThis is a real hidden gem. Great authentic and reasonably priced Korean food. Decor understated slightly traditional, staff in Korean style uniform. V polite, good service, great Bibim Bab! The food is prepared fairly quickly so don't expect a 3 hour long experience, but we have eaten here 7-8 times and never been disappointed. Enjoy!
Koreana – Manchester City CentreFor the most authentic Japanese flavours, the winner is far and away Yuzu, which was the only restaurant that made me think of Japan, of the people I knew there, and the restaurants in which we ate.
Yuzu – Manchester ChinatownGreat place, dined twice this month & can't praise highly enough. Met Adam (manager) & Simon (chef) really genuine down=to=earth guys who actually seem to care, encourage feedback & want to succeed. Great food, top service, just what Manchester needs
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City CentreVisited this new Italian eatery a few times now and have basically fallen in love with the pizza... I know its all about the experience, decor and the welcome, but that for me just seems to be there every time I go in, but the pizza - wow! Is all I can say.If you are going to the Opera House, staying at the Hilton and fancy a change of restaurant, or are exhibiting at one of the exhibitions in Manchester, Per Tutti with its clean modern lines and decor, open kitchen fun atmosphere and simply, brilliant traditional Napoli pizza it is a winner. If you haven’t tried Per Tutti yet, it’s 50 yards down Liverpool Road, which is opposite The Hilton Hotel on Deansgate in Manchester . Enjoy
Per Tutti – Manchester City Centre7 of us went for a birthday meal, nice atmosphere and food came out very quickly (almost too quick!). We each ordered a different dish and the food was fabulous, full of flavour, different textures and healthy sized portions too. Although the duck was a little too fatty. All in all will definitely be returning.
Chaophraya – Manchester City Centrewow,we went here after shopping, fabulous so good lots to choose from great quality & service. My 10 yr old son made up as next to Man City player!
Bem Brasil Deansgate – Manchester City CentreWent to Rozafa last night for 2 birthdays. We were a party of 7 and have been to Rozafa in Stockport and had lovely meals there so were really looking forward to the evening. Most of us had starters and mains but 3 of us opted for the mega mezze which was absolutely spectacular! A vast array of dips, stews and kebabs were brought to the table and they were all excellent. The meats in the stews and kebabs were very tender and tasty, unfortunately we had no room for desserts but we will return very soon!
Rozafa – Manchester City CentreI can't believe it's 2 yrs since the last review of this superb venue, which allows you to park right outside the door for free (It's £6 one mile away in chinatown + trying to find a parking spot, errr, no contest) There was a special 50% off banquet for £13.50, which included crispy shredded duck & about 5 main courses as there were 4 of us (NOT available at the moment Dec2011-Jan2012) but we will be returning anyway this month. Staff/Venue/Location/Value for money all superb. The bonus in the day is that you can also spend some time wondering around the isles of the Wing Yip Supermarket on the ground floor, again highly recommended. Go on, make an afternoon of it, we did & we will be doing it again...
