Yuzu – Manchester ChinatownI attended the wine tasting last Wednesday the wine was awesome and the food was fabulous especially the caramelised pears with parma ham.! I would recommend it to everyone!
Don Giovanni – Manchester City CentreReally lives up to it's name - my meal was A Shocker. I ordered the special starter (mixed tikka everything) as a main course at a £3-50 supplement (£9.45) which was described as a delight and served on a sizzler. It arrived on a cold plate without the Tikka Lamb. I queried it and was told it didn't come on a sizzler and didn't have lamb. It was still starter size as well. Eventually they agreed to give me lamb as it said on the menu, but it arrived 15 minutes later by which time all the rest was cold. They warmed the rest up for me in a microwave - including the salad !! Avoid
Ashoka – Manchester City CentreThoroughly enjoyed my meal and time here, last week with some of my friends. The food was excellent and tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. The general atmosphere here was pleasant and vibrant. I would recommend people to try it out.
Ashoka – Manchester City CentreI have been to Oklahome twice. The first time I was very impressed with the shop itself and also ordered some food to take away: sweet potato with lentils. Although it wasn't cheap, it was a good size potato and the topping was really nice. So I went again. After spending £30 in the shop I went to get a sweet potato with goats cheese and roasted vegetables to find out that the price had gone up and it was now £5.50!! I still got the potato but to my disappointment it was a lot smaller and the vegetables were not well cooked so it was a very disappointing and expensive lunch! The guy at the till wasn't particularly nice either... It is a shame as I love the concept of the shop but you don't get value for money with their food and for the price they should really try to work on their service.
Oklahoma Cafe + Gift Shop – Northern QuarterI have recently eaten in Cafe Istanbul for business meetings where the food, service and surroundings were excellent. Having had such an amazing experience I now use Cafe Istanbul for personal dinners. The menu is extensive with amazing choices cooked with the finest ingredients! The wine list is extensive and the staff are knowledgeable No wonder this restaurant is longest run privately owned restaurant in Manchester!!! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!!
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City Centregreat night, lovely service. will go again :)
Tokyo Season – Manchester City CentreVisited Eastzeast (Princess St) on Sat 10/9 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Restaurant full so was glad i'd booked a table. Staff very pleasant, food exceptional, and most of all including drink, very reasonable. Have tried the Preston restaurant before, the food here better. Recommended.
East z East – Manchester City CentreAs is always the case in Manchester, one is spoilt for choice when dining out..... no longer for myself and my beautiful partner Yvonne. Until I have sampled every dish on offer here at Rosso, I shall be eating nowhere else, hahaha. Having been raised in a small fishing town I often like to compare seafood all around the country and the 'Mistro di mare alla griglia' platter for two (or more) is in a league of it's own.... the only complaint I have is that after this gargantuan dish, we had no room left for pudding..... Yvonne being so tiny meant that even with my huge appetite, this dish could easily have satisfied 4 people. Full of good cheer and plumtiousness, it was a good couple of hours before we felt safe to hit the dancefloors, hahahaha. If you like your food served in big portions by attentive staff and no skimping on quality then get your soon to be huge butts into Rosso's..... 10/10, keep it up ;~)
Rosso – Manchester City CentreIf you're in the city during lunch time or evening, you're hungry and you want a quick tasty 4 course meal then this is the place. This a hugely popular buffet restaurant that serves a huge array of tasty food from 3 soups, lots of starters and main courses with rice and noodle dishes. A large salad bar with cakes and fruit for dessert. £6.50 lunch for all you can eat. really good. go try it. you'll thank me for it.

Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreAte here last week and once again it was fantastic.. Nice place, good customer service and above all food that's amazing.
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreOnly to recommend somewhere different! Waited 20 mins at a table - no service offered, not even 'someone will be with you shortly! '-wasn't even busy at lunch time.
Simple Bar and Kitchen – Northern QuarterOn a recent visit to San Carlo with my wife I have to say the food was quite appalling we had penna with prawns the prawns were the size of my finger nail and not many I did send them an email with not much success. Compared to other restaurants there customer service is very poor. I just think they don't care So marks out of ten a lucky 1 Not recommended
San Carlo – Manchester City CentreThis was my third visit to El Rincon on Saturday night and once again it didn't fail to disappoint, there was a party of 7 of us with most of the party visiting El Rincon for the first time and they loved it, the food was fantastic followed by a good vibrant atmosphere, all the food came out within minutes of each other and it was amazing…I will be back again for more fantastic food!!
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreI have been eating in Tampopos for many years now and Ive always had a great express lunch. Its just that this time my experience was slightly tainted by the sloppiness and speed of the chefs. The staff were great and attentive and the floor manager couldnt do enough for me. The reason being that the Nazi Goring was unlike any Nazi Goring ive ever tasted before. Awful is my only explanation. There must of been 8 khaffir lime leaves in my dish which completely killed every other flavour in the dish and the chef has lazily quartered a whole tomato and placed that in there. Ive never seen that before. Its a shame, but I've such an affection of the place that hopefully this is just a one off. A mystery customer needs to go check this place out for the quality and authenticity of the food. There was an eastern European waitress working in there that could of slowed her pace down ever so slightly. Every time she was racing past, psychologically i felt rushed also. Although i couldn't fault anything else she did.
Tampopo – Manchester City CentreI was completely stunned and in awe with this place, from its subterranean location and entrance to its interior. This is one hell of a cool place. I popped in for a beer after work. I had a good chat with the bar staff who knew plenty about their product. I wandered around the place, checking out the huge open planned kitchen which looks right. The colour scheme of the interior is like nothing I've seen before, you need to go and check this place out, i know it'll be right up your street. Ive yet to try the food but the menu is full of everything that good in the culinary world at the moment. this place will blow you away.
