Bem Brasil Deansgate – Manchester City CentreWent to Rozafa last night for 2 birthdays. We were a party of 7 and have been to Rozafa in Stockport and had lovely meals there so were really looking forward to the evening. Most of us had starters and mains but 3 of us opted for the mega mezze which was absolutely spectacular! A vast array of dips, stews and kebabs were brought to the table and they were all excellent. The meats in the stews and kebabs were very tender and tasty, unfortunately we had no room for desserts but we will return very soon!
Rozafa – Manchester City CentreI can't believe it's 2 yrs since the last review of this superb venue, which allows you to park right outside the door for free (It's £6 one mile away in chinatown + trying to find a parking spot, errr, no contest) There was a special 50% off banquet for £13.50, which included crispy shredded duck & about 5 main courses as there were 4 of us (NOT available at the moment Dec2011-Jan2012) but we will be returning anyway this month. Staff/Venue/Location/Value for money all superb. The bonus in the day is that you can also spend some time wondering around the isles of the Wing Yip Supermarket on the ground floor, again highly recommended. Go on, make an afternoon of it, we did & we will be doing it again...
Glamorous – Northern QuarterEverybody has their favourite place for a pizza, we can argue for hours on where the best pizza is sold. I have found the ultimate neapolitan pizzeria in the heart of Manchester. The pizza chef is from Naples, he trained and learnt how to cook the perfect traditional pizza in Naples. He makes his own bases. His tomato sauce is fresh daily using sweet tomatoes perfect for pizza sauces. They have an fire oven that reaches over 400c that makes the crispiest base imaginable. Prices as you would expect are really reasonable. A margherita costing £6.50. this place will make you rethink how pizzas should be done and done properly. Go check it out, you will thank me.
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreBooked Sole for my husbands birthday and took some friends with us. Have eaten out in many top class restaurants in Manchester but I can easily say this was one of the best meals I have had. We had a selection of dishes including soup, seafood, beef and fish. Every dish was so tasty and the chef is so passionate about his food. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I would recommend anyone to go especially if you are looking for good food and a good night. The restaurant has only been opened since December 2011, we will be going back.
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City CentreI went to per tutti with my girl-friends.we all eat out on a regular basis together and we agreed this was the best place to eat in Manchester.the food was of excellent standard and tasted even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other friends and we will definitely be visiting again.
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreThe perfect place for any Xmas party! WOW! Grill on the Alley made our office party the perfect way to end the year! We had a fantastic night with fantastic food, great cocktails and embraced the brilliant ambiance all night. The only negative of the evening was it had to end! A sure thing we will be back next year!!
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreHaving visited per tutti last week with a few friends I was extremely impressed with the modern, classy decor
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreHaving visited per tutti last weekend with five friends, I would recommend this place to everyone, we started our evening in the classy bar area with cocktails before being seated in the beautifully designed restaurant. For my starter I chose the Impepata di Cozze, mussels in a white wine
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreExquisite food, fabulous service, excellent value. We had the Christmas two course fixed price menu, and are already making plans to visit again in the new year.
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City CentreI visited Salvis on Monday and shared the Parma Ham and Mozzarella platter with a glass of wine. The guy who owns the deli was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wines. He makes different pasta dishes every day and the choice is fantastic. We are going back on Friday and I think this will be a regular haunt!
Salvi’s – Manchester City CentreWonderful atmosphere, very relaxed. Meat and cheese platters superb, prosecco not too shabby either! Staff very knowledgeable and happy to chat in Italian or English. Will try pasta next time as the aroma was mouthwatering.
Salvi’s – Manchester City CentreLovely cocktails, Gorgeous Bar. Dreadful customer service. 6 of us spent well in excess of £100 for 2 drinks each and then were asked, nay told, to vacate our table, which (unlike most of the other tables) had no 'reserved' sign on it. Obnoxious (Assistant?) Manager with absolutely no social deportment or PR expertise. Will not be recommending to my Clients!
Panacea – Manchester City Centrevisited Panama Hattys this week with my partner, the venue was amazing and extremely intimate, however although the meal was presented well/we both had steak ( which was definitely not to my liking)it was a shame as it definitely put a downer on our evening. will we be going back probably not!
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreI went to Tokyo Season for a late lunch on Sunday with my girlfriend. We have ordered a sashimi platter and a few forty percent off sushi. All food is fresh and in good presentation but very poor service. We asked for hot water to top up our green tea cups. The waitress seems don't know what we saying. She brought us tap water with ice. So we explained again, she rolled her eyes, raising her voice "Hot water is not free." With a fed up attitude. I wont go again for a poor service like this. As a customer we all want good service, nice food and value for money.
Tokyo Season – Manchester City CentreGreat dim sum, great value and a great waitress that helped us with the ordering and selection. Would recommend further visits.
New Emperor – Manchester City CentreHeard lots of good things about this restaurant... will be booking a table for the weekend...
Tokyo Season – Manchester City CentreAfter finding the restaurant on Sugarvine 5 of us went for lunch last Monday. What a wonderful time we had. we don't usually eat oriental food for lunch but we will definitely be going back. We all had the set lunch which was very reasonable. lovely place, great food and good time was had.
