Excellent restaurant where everything delivers. First class friendly service, gorgeous food, drinks, ambience. No matter what the occasion I have always had a fabulous time at Stocks and highly recommend a visit. The manager and staff really do go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable evening (or day!).

Went with family of 8 to ZOUK and recommend to others unreservedly,great friendly attentive service, great food and good menu and very reasonable at 99 quid for the full hit with drinks too.Easily as good if not better than its Manchester posh Indian foody rivals.High regard .

went to GBK last night and sat outside in the sun. Awesome burger as ever - had the greek lamb with hummus. Nice fat chips. Good beers to wash it down with. They've done away with the annoying order at the counter idea so that's another bonus.

This place is fabulous!!! amazing sandwiches that fill even my 7ft husband! and a great salad bar. When in Manchester or Bury we wont go anywhere else for lunch..you know its going to be excellent,tasty and very well priced. A guilty secret of mine is to buy a take away lemon cheesecake and eat it in the bath at home...heaven! Also great to use as a deli the ciabatta and sun dried tomatoes are to die for! Top Marks!

I was visiting from California and craving Japanese food and happened to stumble upon this place whilst on a walk with my bf. He's a local and hadn't tried it either, so we thought we would give it a whirl. We went for the buffet, all you can eat style, I'm a very big eater, and frequent all you can eat sushi places all the time. My hunger is rarely satisfied =O. When I ate the buffet at Tokyo Season, not only was the food selection amazing, but I seriously was so satisfied I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day! I had to come back again just to eat there another time! After eating there i couldn't get enough of the place. THEIR GYOZA IS AMAZING! *sigh* I can't wait to go back to Manchester again so I can eat there. I miss it =[

I went to Don Marco for my 3 year anniversary and the experience left me disappointed. The food is average, lacking seasoning and didn't taste freshly prepared. The bruscetta was good but the pate tasted like is was made weeks ago, was far too rich and smelled like a wet dog. The calamari, prawn, whitebait, goujon starter included one prawn, far too much whitebait and brakes brother style calamari, a couple of slimy fish goujons and a salad swimming in olive oil. The main course of meatballs comprised of a plate of over cooked spaghetti, unseasoned meatballs and some pasata. It was really bad. We prebooked a table and were still asked to move after the starter to allow a table of six in with no apologies or compensation. I ran a bar / restaurant for a few years and certainly would've comp'ed the drinks (2 diet cokes (which I almost had to beg to get) and a spritzer). The staff were unattentive and left empty glasses on the table when putting fresh drinks down and avoided eye contact. We had to ask for parmesan and black pepper for the main. It didn't feel like the homely relaxed Italian you expect with good food and a warm atmosphere, it was just poor from start to finish. The manager fussed around and wouldn't leave you alone to the point where he could've done with being sedated. Go to Dimitris next door....

fantastico the food is out of this world ,its the best in manchester you feel like you are in spain .and a lot of stars use it .try it you will go back, i promise ,if you close your eyes you would believe you are in spain, the atmosphere is 10/10 .very good raffael, you have worked hard ..and you deserve credit where its due .bueno suerte,

They have pictures of Manchester united on the wall,the atmosphere for a Tuesday night was great,it cost 60 quid for2 ,minestrone,pasta and a bottle of wine.They have loads of waiters.

Had a fantastic night here, definitely the place to go for some excellent food and entertainment. Highly recommended.

well we had heard that it was not what we had known and liked many times over the years , but we had not expected what we got the rudeness of the staff , the slow service , the food was up to the same standard , as we have enjoyed over the years , yet another great restaurant going down ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

A nice little old style restaurant. Friendly Staffs WONDERFUL HONG KONG ROAST i.e. Roast Duck, Char Sui (roast lean pork), Roast Crispy Belly Pork, Soya Chicken....and plenty other Cantonese dishes. Good Food quick service and real value for money...must go....

Lovely evening spent here with good food, good wine and great company, loved the live music......will most definitely be returning!

My girlfriend and i ate here a few months ago, pre show.. We didn't want to leave in the end.. Great food, good service and nice wines.. The shared platters they do are very filling and very nice indeed. We'll be back here soon before we go to the real thing in July, Turkey itself.

We waited around 45 minutes for a table then we were seated in the middle section of the restaurant by the kindly staff. We were served by our waiter named Faz. the starters were excellent, the main course was fairly good, the price was reasonable and the service was superb would recommend to be served by polite staff.

Until last night I would recommend wholeheartedly the San Carlo experience. The seafood is excellent and the atmosphere is peerless. However, last night (Bank Holiday Monday) we had a pretty poor time and I hope that it is only down to the date. My snails were possibly the worst starter I have ever eaten - if I had cooked the ones my 5 year old brings into the house at home i would have enjoyed more flavour. The sides orders were wrong and delivered throughout the meal as a result. My wife's lobster thermidor was essentially sauce with some fish bits in. Last night notwithstanding however, and the number of great meals I've eaten in there outweigh the poor ones plenty to one, this is still a great place for either a special occassion or just to people watch!

Enjoyed a meal there before going to concert, express lunch available until 7pm which is good though we ate off main menu, shared a mixed starter which was delicious and waitress took the time to explain what the things were and which dip went with each one, main courses yummy, dish of mixed greens delicious but definitely al dente. Disappointed that one of the deserts not available as no bananas, wouldn't have thought too difficult to get some in a city centre. Overall though great meal and service and we are looking forward to another visit.

I have been to the Room plenty of times and the food and the atmosphere are fantastic. Out of all the places I have been in Manchester the Room is the best for Food and quality.

Okay... so I've eaten at many an Indian restaurant before - and I've the belly to prove it; accumulated over many years of gorging on both the indifferent to the sublime Indian dishes for over 20 years! Where does EastzEast come into this? It erases everything I've had in the last 20 years and has redefined the essence of superior quality. Without doubt, it is the best Indian I've had not only in Manchester, but anywhere - the only place that runs it close in terms of Chicken Masala in the Westgate in Bradford (and that is just in terms of the that dish - it's not a place you would like to dine out in - it's one of those 'Roy of the Rovers' type of places - an old favourite). All in all, there is nothing at all I can say to fault EastzEast. The Riverside premises are stunning, the attention to detail and going the extra mile for customers was highly visible and indeed heartwarming as the Mrs and I came on a Friday evening. We weren't rushed - despite it being packed to the rafters, the quality of the food was off the scale and the price - a VERY pleasant surprise. My conclusion - the ultimate dining experience - miss out at your own peril.
