Get place - prefer the Bury shop to Manchester for the atmosphere but food Evey bit as good. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Please think about opening one in Bolton - it would go down a storm.

Katsouris – Manchester City CentreAwful service - terribly sulky waiter who didn't want us there even though it wasn't busy. Shame as food was nice - although cold as waiter couldn't be bothered bringing it to us. Manager not must use either as ignored our complaints. Never going there again. Avoid this restaurant - isn't worth the bother.
Khan Baba – Manchester City CentreI love chaophraya! the atmosphere, the people and the food is amazing!! So many flavours, the taste buds explode!! I love the authenticity too, the Thai cushions in the bar are a great touch
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreReview of Akbar's restaurant, Manchester. I visited at the end of December 2009. Although the service was good, and the starters were fairly decent, the main meal was a complete let down. I ordered chicken dish. They used a mixed bag of chicken meat. The menu clearly described the dish as being made from chicken breast meat. That was clearly not the case. They had used other parts of the chicken e.g. leg etc. Also the Naan was a bit stale. Overall, just a bit too much on the greasy side.
Akbars – Manchester City CentreExcellent food as always. The tandoori haddock was absolutely fabulous in the way it turned this bland English fish into something so deliciously tasty. Highly recommended!
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City Centrevery good food , good choice of menu portion size was perfect, great ambience with modern decor. We all loved the mangers sense of humour too!
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreAn amazing place. Great home cooked food, great staff, lovely environment. Went here for lunch with friends and had a great time. The food was spot on and the service was excellent. The Crepes and homemade Tiramisu are a must!!!
Papa G’S Grill and Bar – The PrintworksWe were in San Carlo's last Wednesday and noticed the atmosphere was abnormally busy for that time of the week, we were informed by one of the waiters that it was due to the fact that JLS were dining just a couple of tables away from us! When we exited the restaurant we got caught up in a paparazzi flash storm trying to capture the footballers coming out of the restaurant, it was just like being in New York! The busy atmosphere did not, however, tar the service or quality of the food which was exquisite as always. We had a very glamorous night out and the whole experience further emphasised what a credit the restaurant is to Manchester.
San Carlo – Manchester City Centrecalled in last fri by chance and should have walk past have been eating in manchester for over 25 years and this has got to go down as one of the worst yet my wife left her starter and main it was that bad she had to buy something to eat on the way home never again duncan
Dough Pizza Kitchen – Northern QuarterVisited Rosso twice since it opened two weeks ago and have to say I'm impressed. Great venue, fantastic service and the food is amazing. Try the steak with truffle mash - it's out of this world! Good place to visit just for a drink too, the cocktail bar has a good atmosphere and wide selection of favourites, all with a modern twist. Would highly recommend checking it out.
Rosso – Manchester City Centrewhat a great place to eat good quality nice staff and ver cheap at lunch ,

Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreVery disappointing, poor service, terrible food.
Red Chilli – Manchester City CentreI ate in here with my girlfriend and some friends couple of weeks ago, food was very good and reasonably priced. Selected from the set menu, good choice for under a tenner!! Not sure i'd go back after seeing the toilets though!!
Bluu – Northern QuarterLovely meal last week! Cocktails were fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! Highly recommended.
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreGotta to admit our Sunday afternoon tea at Zouk was superb, just right, with a lovely 'busyish' atmosphere. 28 quid for the two of us,pompas ,starters ,three mains ,rice and a naan (no bevvy, just water) and it was excellent.Just about, now with all things considered ,decor, ambiance, atmosphere, price,we rate as the best in Manchester, and we try them all. Highly recommended and that makes a change.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreI went to San Carlo on Friday evening, with my wife and 2 very good friends. It was extremely busy, but service was still excellent, and the food was amazing. The Tiger Prawn starter, with gorgonzola, coffee and chilli, were stunning. I will definitely be back.
San Carlo – Manchester City CentreAs always, another wonderful evening with a feeling of being in Italy for a few hours thanks to the waiter who served us again and recommended the best of the menu! I have travelled the world but never found such a wonderful and professional man who made me (and my fiends) feel so special! If you read this message and go to San Carlo, ask for Ciro! Best Wishes, Ketty and Friends xxx
