Great meal here, no complaints, we will definitely go again, enough said.
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreMy husband and I visited one Thursday early evening (approx 5pm). We were rather surprised to be told even at this time we were lucky to be able to get a table for 5.30pm when food service began. The restaurant is quite long and narrow with Victorian tiling throughout. After seeing the prices, we decided to stick to main courses only - I chose Goosnargh duck with a mulled port wine sauce (£16.95), as recommended by the waitress. The duck was pan-fried beautifully but was ruined by the over-use of seasoning/spices (mainly cloves) in the sauce. My husband opted for the Sirloin steak with chips (£14.95) which he said was very good. Overall, the meal was ok but rather overpriced for what it was - you're probably paying extra for the nice surroundings! I believe better food is available elsewhere for the same money or less.
Mr Thomas’s Chop House – Manchester City CentreImpressive menu offering a wide selection of vegetarian breakfasts, snacks, and main meals. An excellent choice of drinks is also available. An effort is also made to cater for special dietry requirements (there are different types of milk, for instance). The decor is bright, but without the irritating music that so often goes with it. Service is efficient and pleasant. A long overdue and worthwhile vegetarian venue for the City centre.
Oklahoma Cafe + Gift Shop – Northern QuarterLoved the food, didn't like the fact that they didn't have toilets (!!!) and didn't give you real cutlery for the salads... But the food is definitely good... go for it but use the restrooms first elsewhere!
Katsouris – Manchester City CentreTook the family for a lovely meal on Monday evening, quite busy for a Monday, nice pleasant atmosphere with great service, Most importantly the 'nosh' was 'top dollar' highly recommended with no complaint whatsoever. Had soup, ribs, a little dim sum, duck and pancakes a few main courses more than enough for everyone, 120 quid with drinks for 6 adults.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreThis was my first visit to this restaurant and I? definitely going to become a regular.. by far the best curry ive had in a long time and myself and my husband go out every week for a curry.. Previously my favourite was the Indian ocean in Ashton.. Didn? think anywhere could beat Indian Ocean but EastzEast has....best tasting curry in Lancashire!!!
East z East – Manchester City CentreTried most of Manchester? 'so called best' then tried Alberts Shed.....THE ABSOLUTE BEST - And the only one I would return to.
Alberts Shed – Manchester City CentreI went to panama hattys last month, I found the bar area lovely and I could have a cigarette while we waited for our table, I had a cosmopolitan cocktail, which they don? have on the menu, but the superb barman made it for me, and for 4.95 was amazing. When we went our table we waited then ordered we had a lovely brie mushroom starter and side orders, my boyfriend had a steak and side orders, I had a chicken papaya salad which sounded amazing, when I received it I tasted CORIANDER!! yuk told the waitress and she returned it and took it of the bill. All in all we had a brill evening just remember if you are allergic or don? like specific tastes tell them and they wont use them in the dish. Booked in for this Saturday 30/03 and I wont be having salad will have the fajitasŠenjoy
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWe visited this restaurant prior to seeing 'The Producers' at the nearby Palace Theatre. The food, wine & service were first class. Glad that we had booked because very soon after we arrived (at 05.30), the restaurant was full. The show was good, the restaurant better. Thank you
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreIncredible Venue. We have waited a long time in Manchester for a restaurant like this. Thoroughly enjoyable food, staff and atmosphere. The fact is was busy on a Tuesday sums the place up. Best Thai in England.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreExcellent evening. Staff very attentive and polite. Food delicious. Will definitely return.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWould recommend Panama Hatty's to everyone, you would be very hard to please if you found any faults.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreHey this restaurant is probably the best in manchester .
East z East – Manchester City CentreThe food is quite authentic Korean. Dessert is really nice, try the green tea ice cream, You will fall in love with it.
Koreana – Manchester City CentreQuite an experience - good food - especially for the adventurous, nice lively atmosphere, excellent service. Ambience - it was packed full of Chinese people enjoying their meals and chatting away Food - two menus - "western" and "Chinese" - I would recommend the Chinese to the adventurous as the meals ordered were delicious and far fresher flavoured that the standard "western" Chinese fare
Red Chilli – Manchester City CentreA relaxing favourite for a quick businesspersons' or smart shoppers' lunch, and ideal for a light pre-theatre meal, Croma has been a great restaurant for years. Service is quiet and never pushy. Nice thin pizza bases are very much what you would get in Italy. For a bit less bustle, try to get seated in the small gallery upstairs.
Croma – Manchester City CentreWent out tonight (Monday) with my wife and came upon Chaophraya. What a fantastic restaurant! The staff were superb and really made us feel special. The food was quite literally outstanding. This is the place to go on a monday night! Strongly recommended.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreI was in villagio last weekend with friends and i had a wonderful time i would like to recommend this lovely restaurant as a top italian in manchester, i've been a few other occasions and the service and food is just impecable, always with a special attention of the manager that made all of us feel very welcome and had a special night....
