Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreWhat an absolute delight. Valentine's night and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food and service is excellent. We ordered nachos to share and there was enough for 4 never mind the two of us. I over indulged on a 16 oz Rump Steak which as far as rump goes it was the best I have ever had 'and trust me I like my steak', it was cooked to absolute perfection. My wife had fajitas and just couldn't finish them. The portions are of a grande style. The wine was delightful - a torres rose for only £15 - and then there was Kwak - 8% Belgium beer served in unique kwak glass. For the sheer dining pleasure, the outstanding service and a menu we intend to sample further, I can safely say that Panama Hatty's is a place we will definitely dine at again. This knocks the socks off any high street eatery 'latin american or other', and is a strong contender in my book to tantalize the tastebuds of any distinguished food critic. What more can I say.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreOne of, if not, my favourite restaurant in Manchester, so much so it has now become my friendly local (although I'm not Turkish!). Fit waiters, always an incentive to visit (!) and bar staff who exceeded all my expectations. (Especially the curly haired one.) They should give her a raise, otherwise I might poach her for my own restaurant.. and sling her on my shoulder and run off into the distance with her, tequila in hand. Sorry, I meant Raki. Definitely worth a visit!
Efes Restaurant & Taverna – Manchester City CentreWe visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday night and the interior is beautiful. We ate in the private dining room which was ideal for a large group. The food was very good but again we waited far too long before the whole party was served their main course and vegetables. The service was poor on the whole and at times we were made to feel as though the waiter was doing us a huge favour which was a shame as it spoilt a good evening.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreVisited Sunday early evening with my 4 year old. Great mix of clientele. Couldn't fault anything. The best Chinese food I have eaten in quite a while, obviously fresh, beautifully flavoured not too heavy or cloying as some can be. The sea bass at market price worked out very reasonable at £20 for a large fish. Lovely service too. I really recommend this place and my daughter keeps asking if we can go after school for tea.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreVery good value for money. An excellent place to take the family out for a meal.
Buffet City – Manchester City CentreWe were just in China town and thought we'd see what it was like. The food was very good and there's a good selection of vegetarian dishes. We are going back soon!
Try Thai – Manchester City CentreThe more you visit Wings.....the more you will want to go again!! This is my absolute favourite restaurant......not only in Manchester, but ANYWHERE. Each time is like the first time, I never tire of Wings....even if I visit once a week. The food is second to none and the staff...........they make you feel SO special. I take friends, neighbours and colleagues on a fairly regular basis and the verdict is ALWAYS..........FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! I love it.....keep it up!!!!!!!!!!! Mrs Gray
Wings – Manchester City Centrewell presented tasty food this restaurant will do well
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreNot just for large groups. I visited with a friend on a Thursday and had a great time. We were thoughtfully seated with couples and a small party of three. Service was top class very friendly and but unobtrusive. Great wine list too. Seafood combination and land and sea were great, more expensive but very large portions. Sushi very fresh.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreMyself and my partner have visited the English Lounge several times, and have not been disappointed each time! Always friendly staff, excellent food and value for money. Whenever we have family to stay we always go to the English Lounge! Stacey and Dan
English Lounge – Northern QuarterAbsolutely gorgeous. Manchester has been waiting for a restaurant like this. The best Asian cuisine in Manchester and a stunning interior and bar too. Very good all round, and thoroughly impressed.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreWe visit at least once a month, the manager always come over for a chat - very friendly and the foods excellent value.
Fus Chinese Restaurant Cafe – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely outstanding place. Atmosphere in the bar is great, food was amazing and staff so genuinely friendly. Am hungry even thinking about the menu!! Will definitely be returning.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreLovely place with very attentive staff. Food very well presented and very fast service. Highly recommended
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreThis place is a real find. The kitchen team obviously take great care in preparing the dishes as they arrive at the table looking too good to eat. I really can't praise this place enough, the food is fantastic, different and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is well designed and free of kids and has some of the best staff in Manchester. I will definitely be a regular visitor and will be holding my birthday party in the private dining room.
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreAte there Sunday 6pm after several recommendations. Thought it was brilliant! Great service, atmosphere, had roast beef yorkshire pud etc, lovely fresh veg - very reasonably priced. So impressed I went with a friend for lunch a few days later - again the same friendly welcome - lovely food and very reasonable prices. So much to choose from on the menu, really helpful staff. Great place to eat in town!
English Lounge – Northern QuarterAbsolutely tremendous. I went, following the rave reviews, and wasn't disappointed. Portion sizes and presentation is superb, good atmosphere in the restaurant as well. Great veggie selection too. Only annoyance is you can't book for less than 10 people - by 6:30 on Saturday the place was nearly full, so you face a very long wait if you turn up after this time, which would put me off if I didn't want to eat early.
