Extremely good food, the duck just melted in the mouth. Well worth the visit and the money. If you enjoy good food do not miss visiting - you will be delighted.

Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWell, after trying to find this place for nearly a year, we actually achieved it last night - and it was well worth the wait! Don? be mislead by the address - from Deansgate, go onto St Johns Street then onto the first side street and at the moment is recognisable by the scaffolding!! Food definitely comparable to Spain, typically Spanish in everything it sells and the staff make it even more so! Was like being back in a Tapas bar in Barcelona last year! Spent £33 on 7 dishes and 2 drinks which think is well worth it. Enjoy!
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreAn extremely pleasant evening with an exceptional menu and service. The menu included some exquisite dishes and the open plan kitchen added a nice touch to the restaurant design. Would definately recommend it.
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreAs a first timer to Manchester was overwhelmed by the lovely surroundings in this restaurant. the staff were friendly and efficient and extremely knowledgeable about the "menu with a twist"! having dined out a couple of times during my stay I thought the food was of a very high standard and good value here and will definitely be recommending Room to friends and colleagues when in the area
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City CentreMy sister and i treated ourselves to a couple of delicious (and incredibly large) cocktails. She went for the strawberry daiquiri and i opted for the coconut cabana, complete with a slice of fresh pineapple. delicious! we had the huge sizzling chicken fajita's with a side of guacamole and desserts of a baileys 'torte' (which in my opinion was quite definitely more of a mousse) and a good old hot chocolate fudgecake. The cake was piped to the post by wetherspoons (where do they make those? heaven?) but pretty darn hot, chocolately and fudgey all the same. oh, and the waiter's are almost as hot as the sizzling platters.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWhat a fab place to go for a quick business lunch or a special treat. The staff were excellent and the place was clean, contemporary and the food was fresh, hot and filling. Also great for kids, with high chairs, free t-shirts and colouring mats and crayons, what more could you ask for when you have trudged round the shops all morning. The site is probably the coolest in Manchester. TOP!!
Wagamama – SpinningfieldsBest curry I have had and I am pretty hard to please! Service was also great - they even turned up the lights so that I could read the menu as they could see me struggling. Although I am not vegetarian there were a lot of options on the menu and the paneer kebab was beautiful. I will definitely go back in the near future.
East z East – Manchester City CentreAt last a first class seafood restaurant in Leeds! The food was excellent, you could tell it was really fresh. The location in City Square couldn't be better - dead central opposite The Queens hotel. The staff are all really friendly and efficient, nothing is too mush hassle for them. Highly recommend... Went with 10 friends to celebrate my 30th. They had no problem accommodating us at relatively short notice. Fantastic ambience, Menu choice was extensive and the food was superb. Service was a little slow, but it didn? seem to matter as we were all having such a good time anyway! Definitely going to be back for more
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreA few of us went to Try Thai after work one evening and we had a fantastic night! The food was beautiful, the staff are excellent, but don? hover around you whilst eating; just the right balance, and the ambience of the place was absolutely lovely! An all round excellent place to eat, whether in a group, or just for two. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!
Try Thai – Manchester City CentreThe restaurant is hip and stylish and the food is to die for. This definitely beats anywhere in Rusholme and is in a great central location. Service is ace and servers are really friendly. The naans are HUGE too. Big thumbs up from me!
Akbars – Manchester City CentreSince moving to Manchester has become my favourite place to eat. Wonderful food. Would especially recommend the lamb rump with pesto- best served rare and great with their exceptional Borolo. 2 can have a 3 course meal from £20 per head (upwards!!). Only criticism is that as no background music is played - large office parties can make conversation impossible during the after work rush period.
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City CentreI have eaten in thousands of restaurants all over the World and NOTHING compares with the whole experience of Akbars. I was dining with 3 people who are never satisfied with British asian food, but Akbars amazed them. The portions were large, the taste and suggestions were perfect, service was quick, the restaurant was modern, clean and amazing service. Although open plan - they have booths around the edges of the main dining room - which gives a lovely ambience (which comfortably seated 6) with larger tables catered for within the room. The food bill was inexpensive for the amount of food we ordered (and had the remainder to go!) - working out around £20/head inclusive of wine/drinks/coffee, starters and main courses (lots!) I will be back frequently!
Akbars – Manchester City CentreBrilliant! Best venue in town for a group night out. Amazing food - it gets tastier every time! The "show" is gob smacking and the staff excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreSecond time here and again virtually outstanding. The best steaks we have had. It was a Saturday night so great atmosphere. Wine suggested by waitress was wonderful. Guava cheesecake excellent. Only downside was chips tasted as they had been refried.
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreThis is a risky thing to say, but the food here was as good as any meal I had in Thailand last year. It's more expensive than other restaurants in the area but it's well worth spending a little more as it was so delicious. I can't wait to return and sample the Chinese menu!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreWould definitely recommend a visit, food was fantastic (retro dishes with a slight twist - try the red mullet and chorizo fishcake), staff were very friendly and welcoming, we will be back soon..
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City CentreWent to Panama Hattys on the 4th August, my wife, 5 year old daughter, and I. Great food, great service, great place. Staff are so friendly, the Jambalaya was excellent. Will go again soon.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWent last night- even on a rainy Tuesday night the place was full, a testimony to the quality of the restaurant. Despite the business of the place, service was efficient and warm. Every course was excellent, and if you're going to indulge in dessert you must have the warm chocolate pot. The best dining out experience I've had in a long time.
