Absolutely delicious
Pacific – Manchester City CentreVery Very good food, very very good drinks though not cheap, they serve negroni's (Italian aperatife) Very stylish interior outstanding efficient professional and very friendly service excellent atmosphere, a great mix of contemporary and traditional Italian cuisine and bar culture transplanted in to Manchester.
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City Centrethe food wasn't bad but the staff are very polite and kind. the tables are a bit cramped.
Cafe Metro – Manchester City CentreMaking eating Chinese food a special occasion. The Yang Sing is one of the finest in Manchester.
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreWithin Manchester's old Stock Exchange you'll find one of the best Italian restaurants in town. My friend and I were quickly shown to our seat in one of the many booths which lined the sides of the large market floor. The menu has a range of appetizers, pasta dishes (as starters or main courses for £2 more) and main dishes. With pasta dishes ranging from £5 upwards, we both took a different dish to start off the meal. Both of which were delightful but incredibly filling for starters. I had ordered the fillet in a hollandaise sauce (I think) which arrived cooked perfectly and very tender. Although after my starter I barely managed to finish the fillet and hardly touched my accompanying vegetables. I think Stock instantly became one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWaht this place makes up for in good beers it lacks in atmosphere, the place is full od pretensious, student types who think they are better everyone else. A definite need for some atmosphere here!! But the Beers is great
Sand Bar – Manchester City Centrethe food is outstanding, but like everything in life you have to be willing to pay for what you want, it sure aint cheap but it sure is worth it
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreThis is a top place to eat and you will come out bloated, this is the way it should be!!
The Old Wellington – Manchester City CentreIt does not get better then this, in terms of atmosphere this is second to none and certainly the most authentic place to eat for chinese food
Happy Seasons Chinese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThis is with out doubt one of the best bars in Manchester, the beer may not be cheap but its the best europe has to offer. And the place is so chilled and relaxed, the old place has a great sense of humour too
Bar Fringe – Manchester City CentreAte well, drank (toooooooo well !)Great place exceptional service.good beers wine a bit pricey.Oveall a great night
The Oxnoble – Manchester City CentreThe platters are the best option here...plenty of choice, plenty of content and very rarely any leftovers. The dolmades are gloriously oozing olive oil while the kofte are firm and pungent with garlic and herbs. Eating at Dimitris can be a tribal, ritualistic occasion or an intimate dinner for two with memories of holidays in Crete or Zakynthos to rekindle the culinary magic. The service remains friendly while being understandably frenetic and the ambience is everything that most Greek, Cypriot and Turkish tavernas can only aspire to. The next best thing to eating al fresco in Rethymnon!
Dimitri’s Tapas Bar Taverna – Manchester City CentreI have been consistantly impressed with high standard of service. presentation of both the food and atmosphere, yet very reasonable prices at this restaurant. The pizza's served here have been some of the most imaginative and wonderfully presented I have had the pleasure to consume. I have known of non-pizza lovers becoming firm addicts after being co-erced into trying a pizza here! Superb and a must treat when visiting Manchester city centre.
Croma – Manchester City CentreCertainly exceptional beef in very nice surrounds, with a young and unpretentious staff who deliver fast and attentive service.
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreGreat value at lunch-time
Pacific – Manchester City CentreI HAD A GREAT TIME. IT WAS NOT ORDINARY FOOD AND THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS VERY UNIQUE. I LIKE TO VISIT THE RESTAURANT AGAIN.
Efes Restaurant & Taverna – Manchester City CentreKoreana is simply fantastic. We had exquisite potato pancakes with dipping sauce, wonderfully spicy seafood hotpot (chigae), deep-fried tofu and spicy beef stew. All served piping hot. I would encourage everyone to try this food, it's such a shame it's not more popular or known even. Great service, lovely relaxed oriental atmosphere. If you like tasty and spicy food you will love Koreana.
Koreana – Manchester City CentreLa Tasca has the best Spanish food around - the calamares, gambas pil pil and paella mariscos are out of this world. Most seem to come here to relive their Spanish holidays and forget rainy Manchester for a few hours. Good value apart from extortionate beer prices. Excellent atmosphere, but a touch noisy when busy. Book ahead at peak times.
La Tasca – Manchester City CentreMeat or Vegetarian Lunch Tiffin, £12.95. Available 12pm-4pm, Monday to Friday.
2 Courses, £20; 3 courses, £25. A choice of accompaniment is includes with each main course. Available 4pm-7pm daily.
