Great italian food, very helpful staff, great look & ambience - go!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreMay have gone a little downhill since opening, but the buffet deals are second to none.If it had a BYO policy I'd probably never make it out of the place.
Peking Court, The – Manchester City CentreThis Place was truley original everything about it was wonderful
Efes Restaurant & Taverna – Manchester City Centrejust superb
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreNo doubt a serious competitor for Pizza Express. Great pizzas, relaxed atmosphere and staff are more than friendly. Arrived late on a Friday evening and the waiter was more concerned with making sure we enjoyed our meal than the amount of covers. Never a disappointment, no matter what time of day you dine. Forget the Express if you are in town for a pizza. Go to Croma
Croma – Manchester City CentreI thought the restaurant looked great, well designed, clean and crisp. The food was tasty and creative, well as creative as you can be with a pizza. The serivce on average was good because one waitress was excellent and the other a po-faced plate carrier! I would definately recommend it though!!
Croma – Manchester City CentreAuthentic , unlike other so called tapas bars ,food is sometimes excellent, unlike the service which can be shall we say inconsistent, but when its good its very good!
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreExcellent Food, Chef's were excellent, been 4 or 5 times now and very consistent. A bit pricey though !! They should do some cheap lunchtime deals !!
Teppanyaki Chinatown – Manchester City CentreBeen going to this place on and off for ten years or so as well as many of the others in china town. THE BEST mixed seafood chowmein you will ever taste comes from Kwok man, epecially around 11pm onwards when they are busy and the pans are hot! Avoid very late (2am onwards)on Fri/Sat as it's full of drunken rude morons, and the staff respond accordingly! Sunday night is great, full of chinese on their traditional family day out, and so the service is better.
Kwokman – Manchester City CentreThis place is great, I was introduced by a friend and would maybe not have tried it looking at the exterior of the restaurant, but now I try to get there 3 or 4 times a week, try the Keema potato curry as well as the lamb & chicken tikka. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the Al-Faisal is awesome
Al-Faisal Tandoori – Manchester City CentreI've been to this restaurant many times, with many different people, none of whome failed to enjoy themselves. The food is excellent, the portions are big and the prices are remarkabley reasonable. I can't think of another Thai restauarnt of this quality where you can eat mountains of food together with a fair amount of wine for less than £17 a head!
Koh Samui Thai Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThe best Hot & Sour Soup in Chinatown !! They also do a very good salt & chilli chicken dish !! very consistent, all ways my 1st choice in when chinatown.
Pearl City Cantonese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThe Al-Faisal is more of a cafe than a restaurant, open all day and shuts in the evening. The food is out of this world, I would recommend 2 kebabs for starters, Lamb tikka with a curry sauce & garlic nan. If you make it on a Thursday, try the lamb chop curry !! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome !!
Al-Faisal Tandoori – Manchester City CentreI have been to the Grinch several times and the food is always excellent. Their duck salad is to die for and their pizzas are among the best in Manchester. The service is pretty slow and a little unreliable which is a shame, but overall I highly recommend this restaurant.
Mud Crab at Grinch – Manchester City CentreWe had a fantastic 2 course meal for £14.95, served to us as we lay on a bed. Great atmosphere and the girlfriend loved it!
Tribeca Bar and B.E.D – Manchester City CentreExcellent traditional bustling Victorian pub in the city centre. Seemed popular with all types of clientele when we visited - business people, tradesmen, Christmas shoppers etc. Interesting menu with some pub favourites combined with some more adventurous dishes - something for everyone. Excellent standard of cuisine. Good choice of wines. Will definitely revisit.
Mr Thomas’s Chop House – Manchester City CentreI went with a group of friends at the weekend and had a great time and meal. The service was outstanding as the waiter organised, selected and delivered all our food which was delicious. I'd heard lots about the Yang Sing and I wasn't disapointed.
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreThe food was very good and the restaurant really has a reputation amongst the chinese. Food is cooked quick and is very delicious.
