Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe food and service was excellent.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreExcellent food as always. This time as fuel for the marathon. Great service as well.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreWe were in Manchester for the Marathon, and had a great meal with great service from the staff.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreService was fantastic and food even better. Great value and very tasty
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe visited Arnero for the first time on 3rd April and had a fantastic meal. This really is a hidden gem in the centre of Manchester. Definitely the best curry I've had in ages, not overly expensive and the service was great too. Highly recommended.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreGreat food and drink selection. Malva could have had more apricot flavour. Polite service off Liv and the others! Would definetly return, especially if they add bobotie to the menu!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFood was really yummy! We really enjoyed everything. Also felt it was very good value for money. The beef Nachos we had were only £6 and they were delicious! The lamb, chicken and fish tacos were our favourite. The service was very friendly and relaxed. Food arrived hot and was yum! I did think the waiters/waitresses could’ve been more observant, however, there were a couple of stages where we were waiting on someone to notice we had no drinks left and to offer us more. We were also put on a table, which we’d booked for 3 people and the table hadn’t been prepared for 3 people in terms of napkins & cutlery.
Boogalu – Northern QuarterMy favourite restaurant
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreIf you’re looking for a lovely restaurant close to The Palace Theatre then look no further. We went here as a family before going to the theatre and we all had amazing food. We opted for the pre theatre menu which was great value and good portion sizes. All the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. We will definitely return here again.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFood was delicious! Loved the lamb and tofu tacos. Didn’t think it was too badly priced compared to similar restaurants in Manchester however we wish the lamb tacos had slightly more filling! Nachos were delicious and good value for the amount of toppings. We went quite early so not too long of a wait on drinks and food. Decor was nice and friendly staff. Planning on coming back for a taco Tuesday!
Boogalu – Northern QuarterThe staff were really lovely. The restaurant itself is nicely presented. I was a little disappointed with the food though. I got a spicy duck main, there were 4 thin slices of duck in my meal, which was REALLY disappointing, it's like they'd chopped up chunky peppers to make it look like there was more meat in it. I can honestly say the sauce was identical to the sharwoods tikka sauce from a jar too. Which again was really strange and disappointing. Our order was wrong/we had things missing, but that's because the waiter didn't write anything down and just tried to remember. It was also very strange when we tried to pay, they had a card machine but wanted us to pay cash, they let us pay half cash half card at the end. Very strange from the staff. I've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time, but it was a solid 5/10.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreThe food was excellent and the staff are very friendly and there service was 100 per cent . I recommend this restaurant I will go back next time I'm out in Manchester.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreThe food was really nice and also the cocktails especially the mango margarita. We will definitely be back again.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe food served at the restaurant is very delicious. There were endless items that were served to us and the service provided was just beyond our expectations. All the restaurant was fairly very busy but everything was just perfect and everyone was served very well. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Authentic Indian Food.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreFirst time at Chakalaka and will definitely be back. Staff and food were fantastic.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFantastic evening great food and atmosphere well done for creating a part of South Africa in the heart of Manchester
