Delicious food, very good atmosphere and great service!!
Arnero – Manchester City CentreWhile in Manchester you must try this place absolutely amazing me and my wife had a great night here and the food was out of this world and the service was top notch
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI went to celebrate my solo birthday in this restaurant and let me tell you something. I’m definitely coming back. The food was exquisite and the staff were super friendly. It was quiet when I went yesterday so it gave me like a peaceful and intimate vibe. There’s also a nice garden. The decoration is very colourful. Price it’s not bad in fact is affordable.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe had a delicious meal, great value midweek. We loved the atmosphere and the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreLovely meal, we were running late and were already booked in nearly last orders, but the staff were very accommodating. Lovely food and nice wine. Would definitely return.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe visited Gio's on 18/08/23 and were greeted with a warm welcome. From the ambience of the restaurant to the attentiveness of the staff and delicious food and generous meal portions, this restaurant and friendly service was the perfect romantic venue for our second date. We'll definitely be back!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreLovely little place.Had a lamb curry and a jackfruit curry plus a side of fries all very very tasty.Only gripe was £3.50 for a can of cream soda and £3.50 for a can of shandy tad overpriced there apart from that small thing would definitely go again and recommend to others.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentrePrompt friendly service. Food was tasty . Drinks well priced in the happy hour
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThis place is INCREDIBLE! Me and my mom love Italian so thought we’d give this place a go as the reviews looked good and WOW! The best Italian food I’ve ever had. I had the brunette and then knocci and my mom had the prawn cocktail and then chicken and mushrooms in white wine sauce. The staff were extremely friendly and authentically Italian which made the atmosphere even better. There’s an option for a pre-theatre meal which is 2 courses for £23 which is great value! Gladly we booked because even at 6pm it was absolutely rammed in there! The glass of wine was a little bit more expensive than I anticipated, however city prices and city prices! All in all, highly recommend this place!!!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreExcellent authentic food. Great service and value for money. I highly recommend this great restaurant!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreDelicious food. Great for vegetarians. Thank you!
Arnero – Manchester City CentreLovely meal, good service.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI was quite disappointed with this meal. The food was ok but the service wasn’t great. The beer was very expensive and was not cold. I won’t be returning as there are so many options in this area.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHad the most amazing time here staff were amazing food was so delicious would definitely recommend anyone to go if they like Italian food. I will be going back again soon.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreStaff and food are excellent. We went for a birthday meal this weekend and the staff could not have done more for us. Highly recommend. Vegan/vegetarian food outlined clearly in the menu, including the rice and naans which is rare and very much appreciated!
Arnero – Manchester City CentreExcellent service, Food absolutely beautiful, Price brilliant will definitely be going back and highly recommended thank you
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreYou are joking, aren’t you, to invite a Review?! I arrived with an elderly friend for a 6.00 table prior to going onto a concert at 7.30. The place was completely full, nowhere to be seated. The Manager/Owner (?) said it had been a terrible day but they were short staffed. We were assured we would get a table and be served in time. We waited for a table till 6.30. We made to leave but were persuaded to stay. No one could pay because clearly digital bills were not working. At one point the desk had about 10 people queuing to pay with bills being totted up on a calculator. Just paying for a meal was taking up yo 10 minutes or more. Even had we had any food, waiting to pay would have made us late. Finally we were seated at about 6.40, and again assured we would get a meal. We ordered what we were advised would be the quickest items on the menu. Still people waiting for meals had no meal. I asked for some water; this never came. There were 2 waiters; the older one clearly stressed; the young one keeping calm and very polite. We waited until past 7.00. No food, no water, and the final piece de theatre was when the chef(probably not the actual chef) reacted to two plates being returned because they had been presented prior to starters, by throwing one at the older waiter, who promptly walked out of the restaurant. We decided it was also time to beat a retreat. Later, at the concert, we recognised folk who had been waiting for meals; they arrived late, unsurprisingly. The young waiter deserved a medal! This would be the last place I would ever choose to eat in Manchester again. In any event, too many tables are crammed in, only the pre-theatre menu was on offer( with only two poor choices for a vegetarian). A suggestion: when things started to get chaotic and unable to manage, why on earth did someone not start to phone those with booked tables, apologise and say they were unable to honour the booking? Absolutely appalling spectacle.
