Really enjoyed
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe went on 2nd day of opening and had relaxed expectations due to it only be their second day. We were sat downstairs, my only recommendation was that the lights are abit bright downstairs but not really a major issue. It took a very long time to get served but the manager was apologetic and we were fine chatting and weren’t bothered by this. Finally received our drink but weren’t giving anything to stir our cocktails with. Food arrived and saved the day! Food was delicious! We had all the veggie options and loved them all! We had to ask for side plates and cutlery. One of the waitresses handed me 3 knives and 1 fork which we were abit confused about. We had to them ask her again for 3 more forks and she then passed me 3 more knives, which made me feel silly. We then got up and grabbed the forks ourself. I think if cutlery and side plates were either already on the table or given as soon as you had ordered it would have been a lot easier. We ended up ordering more food as we had enjoyed it so much. Even better it was 50% off! Cocktails were okay but nothing special for the price. We had service charge put on the bill but I wasn’t sure if we should have really had to pay for it seeing as we waited very long for things to arrive or be served. We left it on and did enjoy our evening and will be back again, hoping these issues are only due to it being very new! Music was good with a Dj on upstairs
Boogalu – Northern QuarterAuthentic Mexican food! The Beef nachos and lamb Bierria was incredible and the service was brilliant all staff was incredibly attentive. 10/10
Boogalu – Northern QuarterThe atmosphere was buzzing and the food was great. Will definitely be back. I wasn't a massive fan of the nachos but the meaty mezze was incredible. The portion sizes were great.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFirst time visit for me, was impressed by the meal deal on at the moment. I had the meat meze board and was well pleased with the varity and amount of food supplied. something for everyone. The service was very good and the staff really friendly. Will return.

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWhat a find! Can't believe it's taken me over 6 months of travelling to Manchester each week to find this place. Amazing efficient and friendly service and food so very tasty with a fab 50% deal in the week. 1000% will be back and intend to work my way around the menu.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreHad an excellent meal and excellent prices. Very efficient service and very friendly waiter and waitress. Nice to see this within a very short distance from the city centre. All in all excellent all round. Will be returning.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreOur first visit and will certainly return. Pre-theatre menu good value and good quality. Good staff and good service, very friendly and efficient. Only negative was the quality of the orange fruit juice, which was not good. Surely wouldn't be too too much trouble to get in something decent for those of us on alcohol-free menu? Otherwise everything really good.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWonderful afternoon. Lovely food and atmosphere. Been many times and always have the same experience. Staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend to anyone from a couple to a larger group. We will be returning.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe chose off the pre-theatre 2 course menu at £23.95 per person. Meal very good. Service very quick and efficient. Drinks on the pricey side but would eat there again.

Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreI went for a meal on the 24th Feb before attending the theatre. What a wonderful place! It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. It was busy but the service was fast. There were four of us in the group and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would highly recommend Gio's and will definitely return. Thank you.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe visited Gio’s for a pre concert meal. The food and wine were excellent and the service was of a high standard
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGreat food and service and with 50% deal, superb value for money - would definitely recommend.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWell run, fun and interesting venue, the staff are so hard working, the evening I was there the restaurant was full and buzzing and yet the staff coped well and remained upbeat and friendly. Food is very tasty and different and that is harder to do than it sounds because Northern Quarter is so varied and different across all of the streets. Well done all of you at Chakalaka, I and my group of 6 locals loved our evening with you.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe ate here following a trip to the theatre. We were greeted warmly on arrival. The food was served quickly and with a smile and was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely return when we’re next in Manchester.
