Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreOur party of 4 dined pre theatre. The service was very good and attentive but the staff seemed run off their feet. When our food arrived it was delicious and we enjoyed it very much. Drinks were overpriced though and any savings on the pre theatre menu was made up by the drinks bill. We had to ask several times for our bill. Again the staff were very busy. Overall the quality of the food far outweighed any negatives and we would certainly go again but would give ourselves an extra half hour next time.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAwesome service, no stress at all and the food was excellent as usual, we were heading to a show and the staff were first class, well done. I would highly recommend Gio its been a favourite for years, it is a great independent Italian restaurant with personality and attitude, well done for still being there for us after all these years.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe went for the 50% off so it was an amazing deal!! Plus the happy hour cocktails meant we were able to try more than one- they were really good cocktails and the food was really yummy. Both servers we had were really friendly and we felt well looked after, will be recommending to others
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThis was our first visit to Arnero on the corner of Chorlton Street coach station in the Village and I must say I was surprised. Being so centrally situated in the centre of Manchester with easy parking and access. We went for a Valentines' meal and were surprised by the value for money. With a nice decor and very friendly staff it added to our first impressions of Arnero. The food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. With wheelchair access and nearby disabled parking not to mention Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options on the menu this restaurant has it all for friends and families without having to go to the always busy and bustling 'Curry Mile' in Rusholme. Each dish served had the most important factor in a meal 'taste'. Prices were lower than expected for such tasy food and budget-wise think about 30% more than your take-away prices from your local Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants. This is not bad for wanting to 'dine-out' for a treat. The menu on the website speaks for itself (although a chicken version of the Rogan-Josh would have made it perfect for myself) and for a couple with wine we paid under £70. The only compliment I can give is it will now be the place we dine-out in before a night on the town. The staff were attentive and the food very tasty and we'll definitely be back.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreGreat food, great atmosphere. Staff are lovely and friendly, great service. Highly recommend.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreLovely staff, yummy food and great service. Was given free garlic bread/drinks as it was a friends birthday. Would definitely go back if in Manchester again.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe went on 16th Feb as we were going to see The Full Monty at the Opera House. This place has got it all! Outstanding customer service, great atmosphere and food, staff amazing and very efficient and value for money! It has to be one of the best ever run restaurants I have ever been to. We will definitely be back soon !
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely amazing, this is our second time coming and we specially drove nearly 2 hours to come to Manchester for a weekend just to eat here! We love it so much and we definitely find reasons to come back! Great vibes, great food, staff are always lovely, definitely worth every penny!

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreVisited last night with a friend, we both had a great time from the get go.. a warm welcoming.. quickly seated.. service was great!! Could not fault anything!! The food was delicious, we will be back! Definitely recommending it to our friends.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAmazing! Never been before so wasn't sure. Wow you really did impress us , we can't wait to book again. Food had great flavour and drinks had a happy hour special on. Staff are so friendly and helpful such credit to you.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFood was fantastic, the waiter ‘David’ went over and above to cater for my wife who is a vegetarian and arranged for a dish that was not on the menu. Fantastic service. The choice on the Pre-Show menu wasn’t great but what we did get was absolutely delicious. I would definitely book again, but a bit later 7pm to get the full menu, as I would love to try their wide range of food. Great place, highly recommended.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreLovely restaurant with a great value pre-theatre set menu. Food was great, served promptly and the staff were very pleasant.
Giorgios – Manchester City Centrethe food was the best I've had and the staff were so good and couldn't do enough for you
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFood was very good, lovely atmosphere. My only issue was that I was overcharged. Only one of us went for the set meal whilst I went for the à la carte. However I was charged for 2 set menus and my starter in stead of one set meal, a margarita pizza and a garlic bread. I didn’t notice it right away as it’s hard to read the hand written receipts ( it was only until afterwords I tallied it all up and realised I was overcharged by about £12.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFirst time at Georgio’s hope it not the last Visited before a show at the Palace. Firstly I would like to say how good the service was it was great to see all the staff so happy to help with any queries The food was very good so hot and tasty The pre show meals was excellent value Even though the restaurant was full the staff were very attentive and helpful Thank you
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreThe food here is absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the garlic bread (which comes in a pizza shape) and the risotto and stuffed shrimp. The service was good at the beginning, but we asked for water multiple times. Then we asked 3 different people for the check to pay. I finally had to go up and get it from the front desk after waiting for 20 minutes. It seemed very disorganized. I would return for the food, but hopefully, management can correct the service issues.
