I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! The staff were so welcoming and lovely, the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious! My experience at the restaurant has even made me look into a trip to Armenia.

Both me and my husband couldn't wait for restrictions to be lifted, so we could visit Giorgios again. It's become our favourite place to eat out. The food is awesome and the staff are just the best. It was so good to see them again, and it won't be long till we will be back.

I'm a huge fan of chakalaka and have had nothing but good service, food and experience from them! Also as a South African, it's a nice reminder of home!

I really can’t recommend Chakalaka enough! This restaurant is now one of my favourites, so much so I have visited twice in a week! The food is lovely and I’m really excited to come back to try other dishes. The drinks are great and they also do a happy hour - which is always good! The staff are definitely the highlight. Every time I have been the staff have been so accommodating and are so friendly. 10/10 recommended!

Absolutely amazing!! We have eaten here a handful of times and they never fail to impress me. The service is lovely and the meals are delicious! Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff and they are very assertive. Would recommend this restaurant time and time again to friends and family! I have been when they place is empty and when the place is fully booked and everything is always spot on! Thank you x

This is my second time coming here and I absolutely love this place. As a fellow South African; it's so lovely to see others that share a passion for the country and its cuisine. The fact that it's Manchester's only South African restaurant is a novelty. Staff were fantastic and very attentive. Food was phenomenal as always! Great atmosphere and fantastic value for money. Thank you for all the hospitality and good vibes. Really appreciate this establishment.

I went to Armenian Tavern with a friend on the first day it opened back up. Neither of us had been before and we were so impressed! The staff were amazing. So helpful in recommending us things to try off the menu - we loved the sea buckthorn drink our waiter suggested. It’s something we never would have known about had he not told us. The woman who also served us was so cheerful and lovely. We were made to feel so welcome! The food was delicious. The khinkali were fantastic as was everything else. We also had a slice of the honey cake for dessert on recommendation and it was wonderful! Neither of us can stop talking about it!

Food was really tasty and the cocktails were amazing! The table was covered by a large umbrella so we stayed dry despite the heavy rain and there was a heater at our table to keep us warm. Would definitely go back!

Our local South African joint! Best boerewors I’ve had in the UK and the biltong Mac and cheese is insanely good! The service is excellent and everyone is super-friendly! The outside space is also cool and is equipped with heaters. 100% recommend

Amazing restaurant! Great food, cocktails, great atmosphere, had a really nice waiter called Jordan looked after us all night.. this was my first experience having South African food and it was really good! We can’t wait to come back.. thank you!
