Giorgios – Manchester City CentreBooked by phone and online explained special 40th Ruby anniversary.Shown to a table, without asking,no special treatment.Food below average, could have got lots better locally.Very disappointing experience.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreExcellent service and very good food and it was hot.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAlthough very busy the service was excellent. Have visited many times, the food is always very good and I have never been disappointed. I can certainly recommend the prawn cocktail starter and mafiosa pizza.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreExcellent food with friendly and attentive staff.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHad the pre theatre menu on 10th December. The starters were standard . I had lasagne as my main. The quality was average. The portion had plenty of pasta and sauce but there was very little meat content. MY son had steak(an additional £2). He eats a lot of steaks. He could not recognise what he was eating as steak. He had no idea what it was and could not finish it. A complaint was made. The management response was it was the fault of the supplier!! Any reputable restaurant would have returned it to the supplier. Although we received a reduction on the bill we would not return to this venue, nor would we recommend it to anybody. Owen McNeill
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAte here on Monday evening, fantastic as always. Excellent Minestrone soup, very good Steak Diane. Great service.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely amazing meal at gio. Couldn't fault a thing! Highly recommended.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreExcellent restaurant with quick service & really good food. ‘Would definitely recommend it.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe thought we'd try this place out for our works party meal as we like to try different foods each year. We all found it quite hard to select one item each from the menu as there was so much we wanted to try, so be ordered 3 of the meat banquets and 2 vegetarian banquets, so we got a bit of most things. We shared them all between the 5 of us, fantastic, flavoursome foods, that did not disappoint, we did need to order extra flatbreads, but they arrived promptly, warm and fresh from the ovens. Great place, great company, great food 5*
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreAnother really good Italian meal yesterday evening at Gios. Great service as always. Polite, friendly and efficient. Excellent authentic Italian food I just love their lasagne. Reasonably priced especially the two course army bird menu.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe were a large party of 17, the restaurant hosted us extremely well and the food was delicious. We all had a great time. The house red was not great but the restaurant swapped it for another bottle which was a great replacement. Would recommend for larger parties easy to deal with from a reservation perspective
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreParty of 8 at lunchtime with the team. Booked in advance and we were the only people there when we first arrived. Given this we felt the service could have been a bit quicker given it was evident we were on our lunch break although it was generally good overall. The food was hot and well presented and seemed authentic (this was our first time trying Armenian food). Felt the prices were reasonable although we were a bit disappointed that the lunch time 2 course offer is still advertised online but was crossed out in the menus.
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreAlways a winner for a high quality healthy lunch. A real treat to find vegan options as good as this near my office!
