Excellent
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe went to Manchester to watch a show at the Opera House Chose Gio as it was a short walk from the Opera House On arrival was impressed by the friendly staff We had a very tasty 2 course meal with wine The food was piping hot which is something I look for , can’t stand warm food. The only gripe I have is that the service was just too fast The starters came within a very short time of ordering and the same with the main It was just too quick for us as we like a small amount of time between courses to talk and enjoy our surroundings It did not spoil the meal at all , so if you are looking for a good quality but lightening fast meal Gio is a great place to visit
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThe food and cocktails were fantastic and the service really friendly.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreGood atmosphere with tasty Italian food at a fair price.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGood friendly service. Excellent food. Good value
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreExcellent as always. A special thank you for offering to keep our table for us for 30 minutes when we telephoned to say that our arrival would be delayed because of engineering works on the Metro line - particularly impressive when you could have filled it many times over.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreBeen to plenty of restaurants in Manchester, but on our third visit to Giorgios this is still the best in town. It’s just a great atmosphere with cracking food and brilliant service. Looking forward to our next visit already.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreDelicious food and drinks from beginning to end. Excellent service! We always have a great meal here!

Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGood food, excellent value, pleasant service and great atmosphere. We were a party of six enjoying a meal after the OU graduation ceremony at The Bridgewater Hall. We all enjoyed ourselves and were glad that we had chosen Gios. The set menus offer excellent value for money with lots of choices and no compromise on quality. Just one point - the gelato was a bit disappointing. It was very sweet and a bit lacking in flavour. But overall, Gios is fab!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAmazing service - fabulous quality of food - I was delayed in traffic - the staff held my table - I was still stuck in traffic and they allowed me to pre order my food so it was ready on arrival so I would not miss my theatre booking - fabulous service and will definitely return
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFantastic is the best word to describe the experience. Loved the service and food. Might go back for desert as the food was so filling I could not eat another thing
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAlways been a favourite of mine. Modern Chinese cooking in cool surroundings!
Sweet Mandarin – Northern QuarterWe dined Saturday evening. We were delayed in arriving and were half an hour late for our table. I called ahead. There was no problem with the management and staff. Service is exemplary and the food was very good quality indeed. We had olives and garlic bread first. We then shared a portion of meatballs, really good. For main course, we had Sea Bass veal, and pasta marinara all well presented and very tasty indeed. Didn’t have time or space for dessert. We have been before several times and will return again, no doubt. Ideally placed for pre theatre dining if you are going to the Palace Theatre or The Bridgewater Hall.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHighly recommend! Two of us went for dinner on Saturday, food was very tasty, reasonable prices, good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning with others in the near future.
