Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreOn a hot muggy evening in Manchester we had a lovely seat outside Tast. Catalonian food in a fine dining tapas style. Very impressive. both the food and wine and the knowledge of the well trained staff.

Giorgios – Manchester City Centre3 lovely meals, good value for city centre location. Excellent choice on the menu and a good dessert menu too. First time visit but will definitely be back again.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreGreat service and great food. No waiting, straight to table, friendly staff. Would go again, good choice of food and reasonably priced compaired to other places in Manchester
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreLike most of the diners, a pre-dinner meal. My partner had the two course pre-dinner meal and me A la carte. started with brochettes. Sadly, the toast had been sat there for some time with tomatoes on them. I think we all know what that means! So, I requested fresh toast. What I received was fresh sweet bread not toasted. Not a good start! Main course was a seafood pasta, I can’t fault it. In fact it was seafood with pasta so no problems all in all an adequate meal which included 2 large glasses of wine and a coffee. Price £68 including the 10% service charge. Would we return? Possibly. Marks out of the 10; 3 for my starter and 8 for main course. The manager, Leo deserves special mention for his attention to us. However, tell his cooks it isn’t difficult to cook fresh toast! Even I can do that!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreI booked a table at this restaurant on Wednesday 17th July 2019 for 2 people to eat at 21.15 the following day, Thursday 18th July 2019. On the morning of Thursday 18th July 2019 I received an email confirming my booking. Unfortunately, when we turned up at the restaurant at 21.10 it was shut, lights out, roller blinds down. I can understand problems with refurbishments and building work overruns but there really is no excuse not to send 1 short text to let booked customers know.

Noi Quattro – Manchester City CentreMy go to place in Manchester! Music, food and drink!
Dive NQ – Northern QuarterSaturday early evening after a matinee at the theatre and having booked a table we were greeted with an air of indifference by the front of house waiter. We were seated and given the set menu to peruse whilst waiting for the 3rd member if our party and ordered some drinks and water for the table. Whilst we were looking at the menu another couple were brought to a table beside us and aswell as the set menu they were given the al a carte menu we could tell from how the waiter spoke to them that they were regulars. A waiter came to take our order so I asked if there was another menu to look at and he was happy to provide this. The drinks arrived but no water which I had to request again. Our 3rd member arrived but he had not been seated long before a waiter came to ask us if we were ready to order when we said not quite he asked if he could take our orders whilst our 3rd member decided what to have!!! When the starters arrived one of them was wrong and two if us had already almost finished by the time the correct item was brought. After that no other problems and the food was lovely. I know that at the time we went they were catering for pre theatre but maybe it would be a good idea to be a bit more attentive to people spending money in their establishment not everyone is in a rush!
