Great modern Italian food
Noi Quattro – Manchester City CentreMy go to place in Manchester! Music, food and drink!
Dive NQ – Northern QuarterSaturday early evening after a matinee at the theatre and having booked a table we were greeted with an air of indifference by the front of house waiter. We were seated and given the set menu to peruse whilst waiting for the 3rd member if our party and ordered some drinks and water for the table. Whilst we were looking at the menu another couple were brought to a table beside us and aswell as the set menu they were given the al a carte menu we could tell from how the waiter spoke to them that they were regulars. A waiter came to take our order so I asked if there was another menu to look at and he was happy to provide this. The drinks arrived but no water which I had to request again. Our 3rd member arrived but he had not been seated long before a waiter came to ask us if we were ready to order when we said not quite he asked if he could take our orders whilst our 3rd member decided what to have!!! When the starters arrived one of them was wrong and two if us had already almost finished by the time the correct item was brought. After that no other problems and the food was lovely. I know that at the time we went they were catering for pre theatre but maybe it would be a good idea to be a bit more attentive to people spending money in their establishment not everyone is in a rush!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFriendly service, good value pre theatre menu ....food was delicious
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI was really pleased to find Giorgio, took Partner before going to theatre. As soon as we walked in we were met by smiling faces and the staff were like that all night long and were also attentive all during the meal, I read that some people think the food is expensive but I thought it was right price for good food. we will definitely go back now we have found this little Gem.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreExcellent food and service .Very large portions .
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGreat restaurant, booked here for just before a show at palace theatre. Quick friendly service with great food and very attentive and understanding of our allergies. Very polite and helpful staff
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreDid not like service charge added to the bill. More expensive than before. Food and service still good. Wine too dear. So handy f Bridgewater Hall.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely brilliant, great food, great service and great value for money. Staff really knowledgable about the dishes and ingredients Will be back soon, looking forward to the menu being expanded to include South African Steaks in the near future Cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant highly enough Thank you, a great find
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe best Italian food outside Florence! Great menu, great food- well cooked and great service. Would recommend 100%
Giorgios – Manchester City Centre3 of us went this Saturday the food was nice but could do with more options especially for kids. It needs beef sausage as other option apart from pork and beef sausage. As a whole good joint took me back home loved the chakalaka.
Chakalaka – Manchester City Centrenot impressed. Service was very slow, starter arrived quickly but then took 40 minutes for two pizzas to arrive, mine was like a swimming pool, all wet and soggy. Asked for bill and was 20 minutes before again asking, had to get up and walk to the door before they bothered to tot up the bill, as we had theatre tickets we had to leave as to not miss the performance starting - the bill came to £47 for two people at the pre theatre menu and two drinks. Go figure - we didn’t have to argue, total rip off. Avoid
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreSuperb pre theatre meal. Staff attentive and good value for the money. Generous portions
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreReally friendly place with excellent food and don’t skimp on the portion size. Pre-theatre menu great value and quick service so you’re not rushing. Will be back soon for the à la carte menu.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreVisited with 2 friends on a Saturday afternoon. We chose the meat platter, the veggie platter plus a dish of spinach and pap. Wow! So many fabulous flavours and new foods to try. Bright, vibrant interior, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. What more could you ask for. Will definitely be back for another visit.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreGood food, friendly and professional service, an excellent choice for a pre-theatre meal.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI had a pre-theatre meal with my sister, the service was quick but didn't feel rushed. Multiple options were made available to my sister who is vegan, for myself a true meat eater there were plenty of options on the menu. We did eat early evening (17:45) so restaurant wasn't busy but still had a good atmosphere. This is a restaurant I'd certainly look to come back to when next in Manchester, would be suitable for a meal with family or friends.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI travel to Manchester a lot for work and always ensure I make a reservation here whenever I can. The service is excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. The food is always fresh and always tasty. If you’re there before 6:45 the pre-theatre menu is excellent value for money.
